Cyanogenmod 7 Latest! - Thunderbolt General

Hey all,
I was wondering if anyone knows the link for the #slayher cyanogenmod 7 website for the tbolt?... I have been getting my cyanogenmod 7 release candidates from the xda page ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1049542 ) but I don't thunk that is the most up to date cm7 page to get #slayhers latest work..
This xda page has a link to irc.freenode.net but that just takes you on a wild goose chase to find #slayher's official discussion page or whatnot... I just want the latest version of cm7 fresh put the oven...
Can anyone please shed some light on this??
Thanks,
CM7 fanatic!!

That page is updated regularly with the latest version, and in fact it was just updated recently.

Yeah it was updated just the other day or if you want it as soon as it comes out, this is where they get posted

Thanks... That is exactly what I needed ...

Also check out RootzWiki.

Why don't you try it at the specific rom section? Guess you can get there better results! AFAIK CM has an own homepage. Try it out. I'm not allowed to post URL-Links
I am very excited about CM9 and can't wait for a stable version of the rom. I'm guessing it won't be too long now until it is here.
CM9 has a own thread i think. It's still in development. A great System don't fall from the sky...
Im running the still beta on my desire from the desire forum here at xda and its the best android experience ive had so far. Never has my phone been this smooth and fast. And it seems pretty stable already too. So the future looks bright indeed.
Sent from my HTC Desire using Tapatalk
Yes, cyanogenmod has their own website, but for a while now they haven't posted any updates on a stable build being released. You can find the beta if you do a google search though.
@appadict, you have not mentioned your handset model.

It used to be up, but I think galnet took it down for reasons unknown to me...I have the unstable version (2.3.9) that I downloaded from his site a few weeks ago that I can upload for you tomorrow if you want
Sent from my SGH-I997 using Tapatalk
although I can't see the ROM for infuse 4g on galnet's site, I figure out that the download links for infuse's galnet MIUI are still working
PM me for the links
however, download link for the weekly 2.3.23 version is not working, if u really need, I will help u upload it into mediafire
It is not recommende to put up links related to Galnet MiUi here on XDA for
a lot of reasons....
id PM the links to him and fix that last comment
just a heads up
galnet is going to bring back the infuse port, or a MIUI V4 port considering that ics is on the device, they said so in their forums
however for some reason they are still banned here, so you will just have to wait it out.
Right now the galnet stable is easily the best port if you can somehow get your hands on it. I don't know how they did it but it is FAST.

I'm using it right now, had no problems with it so far :good: everything works, accept you have to install gapps for ICS to get Playstore and stuff, which CM9 doesn't have when you flash it :L

Sorry, noob question - currently running AOKP and Faux kernel.
Does the stable CM9 include kernel in the zip? Can I just wipe and flash?

[Q] Questions about CyanogenMod

I Rooted my pico 2 days ago, yesterday i put jaggyrom 4 and now im starting to get a general ideia on thing. Since CyanogenMod is the most recent version of android why are there so many builds 7 9 10 what does that mean and witch is the most stable/relaiable less buggy?
Am I going over my head and should just go with my current ROM or just go for a icecreamsandwich one?
Thx in advance
Brigas
Builds are like this..... Build 1 is the first one, and so on, normally latest builds are with less bugs,as simple as that. About what to flash..... it's up to you, check out at least last 4 pages of whichever rom you choose and you'll get what's wrong with it(if there is something) and that's it.
If you are asking about between cm9(there are 11builds of it) and cm 10, that's different. Cm9 is ics, and cm10 is jb, and so on.

Actually the ROMs are ported from sources by devs. Mostly they are
not official. That's because the CyanogenMod (please dont ask me what is that) team doesn't likes to spend time on phones like HTC Explorer. I don't know why so better not asking me. So as they are unofficial, they are not prefect and stable. They've got bugs and new builds are made to remove those bugs and make all the thing work. CM9(ICS) Build #11 and CM10(JB) Beta #3 are fine for you. Almost no bugs. Find the links yourself I'm too lazy to do that.
Please hit 'Thanks' for this detailed info.

ROM: [4.2.2]SlimBean-SGH_I727 skyrocket build 3.1 04-03-13 UNOFFICIAL

Special note, It seems there have been a bricked skyrocket using clockworkmod! There have been none with twrp. I would suggest you use twrp with this rom and would like to hear from anyone that has installed with cwm!
If something is broken You need to provide clear instructions on how to reproduce it and provide Logcats, kmsg and last kmsg if applicable.
This rom would not be possible without the hard work and knowledge of CyonanogenMod,prbassplayer! And of course the Slim team!
Lots of thanks to this thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1798056, I recommend anyone that is interested in building from source to read this thread!

I have been compiling SlimBean for the hercules for some time now. I finally got 4.2.2 up and running pretty smooth. I noticed no one was building for the skyrocket so here it is. I've had some testers playing with it for a couple of days because I don't have a skyrocket. All has gone well, if cm has a bug then this probably does to since its a cm kernel. Camera and video are both working now. This rom is straight from Slim's source with 0 changes. I had one tester who tried a different kernel and had overheating problems and of course terrible battery life. This rom, like 4.2.1 has better battery life than cm at least for me.
I know there were problems with early development of this rom, but it is safe and can now be used as a daily driver. However as usual I am not responsible for a bricked or damaged phone. I just figured since I'm supporting the hercules why not share with the skyrocket to. If anyone wants to compile for skyrocket and take over please feel free lol Go to the rookie thread and follow the tutorial in op for slim and I will try to help with any problems. ENJOY

As one of the early testers of this build I can attest that this is smooth and solid. The only problem I've had so far is getting Trebuchet to play nice, but someone else tested and didn't have the same problem. I did all of my setup yesterday, brought it up to a full charge and went to bed. 7 1/2 hours of deep sleep (for me and the phone), some streaming audio this morning, a few texts and I've still got plenty of juice. Nice work to the OP and the whole Slim team.

Very nice surprise to find this build, coming from the 4.1.2 version of Slimbean 3.1.
Installed and everything seems functional, including torch in Quick Settings Panel, very smooth and snappy.
Many thanks to onlychevys for building this!!

Ask all questions here in this thread, I need to change the op! If one of you knows the answer to a question from another than please feel free to help. I am not a dev but I am learning fast and can compile from source. If we all work together we can keep slim working on this device as well as the hercules. We almost got left behind and since this is my favorite rom that would suck! android88 started the q&a thread listed in op and is super smart with android on your phone, so if your question or problem is not answered here then ask there. I will have him look in on this thread if he don't mind.

+1 on this! I was a bit surprised not to see the normal slim 182 dpi at first, but the density changer worked like a charm so far thanks for bringing this to us onlychevy's, you're the man!
One thing I have noticed is that the video recording preview is "zoomed in." I remember this being an issue in cm10.1 at first but topprospect made a commit that fixed it. Videos record fine, just looks grainy while recording.
Edit: anyone know where I can find the stock slim wallpaper? I want to apply a theme, but I don't want to lose this wall
