Try replacing the apn file from miui rom to your rom of choice.

Thanks! Trigger does it. But I found if I added one of the uv/oc kernels to improve battery I had the apn loss problem begin. Trigger alone was free of it, so that problem seems kernel not rom related.

Agreed. There is no one size fits all radio. For me, the stock radio is the best, for you it may be different.

So I love er3bus's xl Rom for inspire/desire and and I want to brand it as Inspire 4g instead of it saying desire hd at the phone identity setting? Any help? I wasnt sure if inspiremod would take care of this.

I was afraid you would ask that
I know its just a matter of changing desire hd to inspire 4G.
I dont have access to a computer and doing a search from the cell is kinda a pain.
Do a search in the dev section, there are several threads/pages about changing the build prop - mainly they'll talk about editing to get better data speeds. A few will mention how to change the branding.
You can download rom toolbox (which is the only one I remember right now) that has an option to change the build prop.

Not really. Its used on Existz aosp ics rom without problems. I could be wrong and correct me if I am, but all it does is update branding and change GPS over to NA. Its not cm7 only. But I am new to all this so if I'm wrong, than sorry for the bad advice.

Seeing as you're not in the US you probably have to change your APN settings. I had to in order for it to work in Canada. Try doing a google search for your carrier to see what it should be.
Thank for your helpI can use LTE on my One XL that on Clean Rom

Hi,
I wonder if it would be possible to have the stock Android ICS rom on your One S? I know you can make your own roms (like blackdragon (wich i'm using now) or leedroid or whatever you want. But I prefer a stock android without launchers . )
Is it possible to have the Stock Android on it? And how do you do that?
Thanks!
Look for AOSP / AOKP / CM9 ROMs, all these are stock android, AOSP is stock, The rest are stock with added options, tweaks, ect.
Have you tried AOKP? It's a stock-looking ROM, but with a ton more features.
Do any of these have the built in TMOUS WiFi calling yet?

How come when I use a custom Rom, my 3g icon keeps switching from 2g to 3g to h to h+? Btw I have a new one that I just bought from tmobile 3 days ago. Thanks in advance.
Covered many times, but it is because the custom ROMs use the European base and not the TMO US base. Trickdroid won't do that if you use the TMOUS version. It's just a software thing. Nothing wrong with your phone
