I bought a Bell Sensation 4G and Unlocked it to work on the telus netowrk everythig is great except the phone doesnt connect to telus HSPA+ netowrk why?
The only icons I get for data is 3G and H no H+??????
My friend has the same phone with bell and his gets the H+ netowrk
I have my phone rooted and s-off and ARHD Rom installed on it.
I've tried to phone Telus about it but they wont give me any help because its not there phone. They just tell me that I'm in the coverage area for H+ and should be getting it but I'm not.
I think H is used for both hsdpa and hspa+. Compare speeds to make sure.

Question I just bought a Bell HTC sensation 4G phone and got an unlock code for it so I could hook it up to the Telus network. Everything is all good its running fine on the telus network except that I still only get the data symbol "H" and not "H+" 4G network??????????
Is there some settings that I'm missing to get it to conect to the 4G network any help would be great and thanks you in advance

I am not to sure about Telus but with Nexus S it would show an H when I was connected to 4G on Rogers.

Ok is ther any way to check what network I'm connected to HSPA or 4G because I tried the speed test and my download speeds are the same if not less than I was getting on my desire HD with HSPA (3g+)

How can I get a 3G signal on ATT or Tmobile Carrier in USA? I was able to get 3G signal in Asia.. Why not from ATT or Tmobile..?

Because they are both using 3G bands that aren't supported by Desire S. You can't do anything about it.
Hello, I recently bought the HTC sensation in asia but now that Im back in Canada, I put in my telus Sim card and I get no signal from anywhere. I tried putting in a rogers sim card in and it works fine. So does Telus not support the sensation?
Your 3g band might not match telus. Reason why you are getting a signal in Rogers is because rogers has the old GSM system..so you are stuck with a Gsm signal only. 3g bands are different than the tmobile and Bell sensation. Sorry dude.

You can use asian sensation with wind mobile and mobilicity too, I think. I have the asian sensation with 3G and HSPA working with wind mobile.

I got a Tmobile sensation and I m using in Peru, for some reason the network line is in EDGE, or 2g it is the way we can change, the sim card work in 4g in another phone, some body can help me.
check your network settings and see if your running tmobile. maybe att?

I had HTC HD2 with t-mobile 3g plan but now I brought a g2x from ebay and now the phone connects to 4g? Is it same as HDSPA+? On HD2 Im using H now its 4g. Im scare tmobile will charge me extra
T-Mobile's 4G is HSPA+ .. If you go to Settings > About phone > Status it will tell you what kind of network you're connected to -- HSPA, UMTS, EDGE, GPRS
