[Q] Cincinnati Bell Blaze IMEI Question - General Questions and Answers

I found and followed the unlock/root 1.6Apanda directions found elsewhere in this forum. When doing that the IMEI got erased. I then followed the tutorial to correct the IMEI. This is where I had a problem though. I followed the instructions and ended up with an IMEI of A354..... however, when I updated the IMEI on my phone it turned into :354..... I have no idea why the A turned into a : Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to correct the NV file?

[Q] Recover service

I just went back to stock and was trying to recover my EMEI but it matches the one on the back of my device but i still have no service and i have no ERI version. I also tried http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1802024 but every time i get to step 15 it says ports are either busy or not working correctly.

You will have to Odin to ICS (4.04 I think) and then reprovision the SIM with the dialer code. You have to downgrade because dialer codes will not work with Jelly Bean. Do a search and you will find the code, just know that it will erase your phone to a like new state.

Do h have a link or something to find it?
[Update] Odin didn't work
Look in the stickies at the top and follow the guide that will put you back to stock ICS. You will have to use Odin, however. Are you putting the phone in download mode before attempting to use Odin? Did you install all of the drivers that you are supposed to? Read the sticky on how to use Odin as well to make sure you have everything and are flashing in the right mode.

[Q] VZW Galaxy S3 has lost esn and radio?!? WTF?!?

Following the step by step guide found on XDA, I attempted to get my phone fully functioning on metro pcs. While attempting to make changes in DFS the program just...quit. The window closed, no error message. When it closed, it must have written changes to my phone because now it has no esn information, no radio (GSM and CDMA radios worked fine before this) and now can't be opened in either QPST or DFS. I'm at a total loss here. I've tried everything short of putting it in a cup of water...If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I

[Completed] [q] lg g2 d801 t mobile imei number wiped (reads imei: 0) after flashing firmware

I found several related threads. But none seemed to have the answer I needed. I do not have an EFS backup. The last thread I tried used QPST. Did everything to about step #39 of maybe 42. "Copy line 550 and select Write to Phone", I think this was in NV_Manager (sorry, not at home). Copy line 550 containing IMEI info. Line 550 did not exist on my phone. The line numbers went up to about 46?? My question is... If the entire entry is gone from my G2 (no line 550 at all), how can I reenter it? I do have the original IMEI number. Or please steer me to the correct thread???
I have been 3 weeks without my phone. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks.
Hi,
You can ask in one of the several threads you said you've read, for help on this.
This one perhaps? After reading post number one. ? it's for Tmobile version, so if it talks about flashing files, make sure they are for your exact device model.

Good luck!
Here's the link that saved my phone. I repeated every step, from beginning to end 3 times. Every time I disconnected the phone the IMEI number was a single zero. When I followed all steps the 4th time I rebooted the phone... It worked! Thanks to Cubed for the tutorial. And thanks, Darth.

I found the fix for my null IMEI here on XDA

Thanks to this post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/s7-edge/how-to/guide-how-to-fix-check-drk-imei-issues-t3379516
I had soft bricked my s7 a while back. How I managed that I can't remember except that I reached a point where the IMEI was null which meant I couldn't connect to my carrier.
And then I found the above mentioned post. My phone is now functional again, with its proper IMEI. I tested it with my SIM card and made a successful call.
I thought I would mention this in case someone else is having IMEI woes and this might be of help.
