netflix for eagal blood - T-Mobile LG G2x

is there way to get netflix for the eagal blood rom that i just flashed??

you would have to edit the build prop, but i wouldnt advise doing it.
i was on EB 1.07 but since netflix dont work i went to MIUI rom and thats where im gonna stay.

It would be cool if it did. Crackle seems to work, but Netflix is better.

the EB with cm7 in it works with netflix, but a2dp dont......bummer

[Q] roms with working a2dp

I just got a car with ad2p bluetooth connectivity. It works perfect with froyo roms but do any of the gingerbread roms have working a2dp? i dont want to stay on froyo because my netflix doesnt work with froyo and i use it a lot but want to be able to use my phone without plugging the dam thing in while driving.
The ones based on the OTA 2.3 should work. I can verify that this one will stream over Bluetooth:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1158513
However, Netflix is not working with that ROM...only the CM7-based ROMS. And, ad2p isn't working with the CM7 yet! Damned if you do...
Eaglesblood 2.3.3 is also working with A2DP. But, as thegoochking said...no Netflix love.
I'm also having good luck with mms on EB 2.3.3, which was always a huge PITA on stock, and on CM7 for me.
Is there any workarrounds to get a2dp streaming to work on eaglesblood 1.6 gingerbread? What is causing the a2dp to not function on these gingerbread roms?

No work around... Maybe once we have the source from LG for GB ROMs.

So, does A2DP work in EaglesBlood or not?

Gingerbread and Netflix?

I just rooted my HTC Eris for the first time this week. I'm using Evervolv 2.3.5 rom. So far everything works great. Now just yesterday, Netflix released a version 1.4 for most Androids. I've just installed the Netflix app for the first time, but it will not play any videos. Has anyone else had this problem? Do I need to use a different Netflix program? The new Netflix ver 1.4 says its for Gingerbread.
Netflix is not compatible with all phones yet.
I had a heck of a time with Netflix on my Dinc. It wouldn't close properly, and then would restart once I killed it.
Hmmm, I think Neflix posted an article that they supported all Froyo and Gingerbread phones now. Maybe your ROM has something to do with it?

Custom ROM - better than Infused v2.2.3

Infused v2.2.3 last update is 09/23.
Any kind soul would like to share with me which other ROM now is fast & stable than Infused v2.2.3.

Here is a list of all the roms so far.

Don't forget about Hellraiser, which allows you to run I9000,Captivate and possibly Vibrant roms also(only been tested on I9000 and Captivate Roms).Try'em all til you find your flavor.
And I would not say they are better than Infused or worse. Everybody has a favorite.
Hell, the jk2 leak is running great for me. I mean almost a day and a half battery life, fast, don't need any hacks or work arounds. All the other options bigfau mentioned I've tried, I like speed and stability and this is just what's best for me.

if you do not have to have GB i highly recomend infused 1.6 froyo
been my daily driver since it was 1.4
very fast and stable
FBN
I use serendipity 7 with hell raiser as my daily and really like it. If you don't mind working a bit to customize. Battery is good, got 30 fps working, using jl2 modem, and used the charcoal theme from the website for a clean look.

try them all and judge for yourself
I recently got my infuse and im ready to shop for some roms. Infused 2.2.3 will be my first try.
Im really trying to go for a red and black theme
Cryogenic mod 7 for me. It's very fast, stable, customizable and works with the wii mote/ps3 controller. Only downside is the normal bluetooth a2dp doesn't work yet. I was on rogers stock gb, but cm7 is better for sure

does it work well with music streaming apps?
I used vevo and youtube no problem, so Pandora and other music streaming must work just as well.
I guess I'm confused as to the point of the original question. Infused hasn't been updated in a month, so you're wanting an alternative? Is that right?
Given that AT&T hasn't released an official Gingerbread ROM (and we're lucky that Rogers did), and the official ROMs are generally the source of custom ROMs, it's really no shock that a) there aren't more custom ROMs for the Infuse and b) Infused hasn't been updated in a month. However, just because it hasn't been updated doesn't mean it's outdated. That's important to note. I mean, short of just slapping a new modem in it and putting a new version number on it, what else is there to do? (Random rhetorical question: If there was a modem added every time a leak came out, and the ROM had a new version number slapped on it, would that be enough to call it "updated" and keep you using it?)
Personally, I use CM7. I use it because I have been using it for ages on my Captivate. It's fast, bloat-free and includes what an OS should include - just the facts, ma'am. If I want anything else, I add it myself. Bluetooth obviously isn't 100% and there are other quirks that pop up from time to time, but it's something I'm willing to deal with and I think the benefits outweigh the drawbacks. YMMV, of course.
Try MIUI, you'll never look for another new ROM again

Holy moly you can do that? Ha well I recomend either dlev or cm7 the compiled version. This is because dlev is just plain cool and fast (good job big fau) and cm7 is just plain fast and awesome for the people with the need for speed. Dlev has a good blue theme, and cm7 is just endless with their themes. Dlev has everything working except hdmi of course, and cm7 does not have bluetooth and hdmi not working. I recomend either of these two roms though, as they are very stable for me, while I would actually get force closes on infused every once in a while. Oh by the way, cm7 has a newly compiled rom almost every day. Dlev is probably better for a newer flasher though. Ha miui may be good, its based off of cm7 but has an iphone like look to it.
use infused + uckj2 modem and gb kernel
If you need bluetooth for streaming audio or making phone calls (at least with a car stereo) then forget about CM7 or MiUi. Neither work for Bluetooth in this regard.
If you don't, and you like customization, then I'd start with those two ROM's first. MiUi and CM7 are totally different, but both top dogs at what they do.

So far so good with my infuse running Dlev rom

Netflix - Audio, No Video

OK I've had a few brief searches around I can't really find too much but then I'm not the best at search terms.
I've got a rather Odd problem with Netflix. Now I've started using Netflix religiously over the last month and as we have a new puppy watching it from bed on my phone has been a god send.
The problem I have is it only works on one of my ROMs.
If I use the Netflix App on Virtuous Inquisition I can log in, Select a video and start playing without issue. Great audio and video.
If I use Virtuous Quattro then it plays the audio but no video.
Same for both MIUI's (ICS and Gingerbread)
Tripdroid
and I'm pretty sure it did it for Sense-o-maniac de-sensed aswell.
Does anyone have any ideas whats causing this?
Or how I can fix it? I like swap around the latest ICS roms every now and again and I dont really want to be tied down to Virtuous Inquisition because its the only one that works with netflix
its because it is missing codecs in the stripped roms(non sense) it works fine on all sense roms i have tried (i have 10 roms installed on phone lol)
Well.. I never knew that.
I wonder if there is a way to get those codecs re-installed.
I really want to use Netflix.
Its strange that Virtuous Inquisition works fine but quattro doesn't. Maybe the Beta 4 of Inquisition still contains the codecs even thought they say its de-sensed.

[Q]

Hello all,
First of all, thanks to all the devs for making ROMs for us. I have tried almost everyone of your ROMs from caty, zeus, aeon, vagabond, revelation, and now I am on emancipation a1. Have been since 4.13.
I only noticed today that I couldn't play anymore avi's or mkv's. I could play youtube videos and videos that I recorded from my phone. I thought that the new lib files + flashing a DD kernel would fix it but it didn't. I also tried the lib files + infusion kernel but that didn't work either. What I also tried was go back to Zeus 6 and that's what did it. I could play avi's and mkv's again.
I was hoping that this was something that you already noticed but if not, let me know if you need more info. Is there a fix out there already for this that I missed? I was hoping you could work on this since I want to continue using Emancipation but I really need to play blue's clues episodes for the little people in the back of the car.
Thanks!
There will be an update to take care of this

Don't know if you checked but we updated the libs for download and everything works. To play avi use another player other than stock like mx player.
