Just a question.. I have SGS international editon flashed with gingerbread 2.3.3 XXJVK.. do I need to downgrade my firmware first to froyo before I can put CM7 to my phone..well the thread made me more confused hehehe

yeah you have to flash a froyo package that has the froyo bootloaders. try JPU or EZbase.

Correct, you have to flash froyo ROM, then flash a stock voodoo + froyo kernel. From here follow the instructions from the OP who posted the CM7 ROM.

i got a used Galaxy S 4G today and i see that have Vibrant ROM...this is Possible?

NO! This is not possible. Though the phones are close, they are not the same. Only flash what is in the Galaxy S 4G forums.

The Vibrant file system is different from the SGS4G. Vibrant Roms don't work on the 4G.

The only Roms that can be flashed for the 4G phone are on the Dev Page Here. Your choices are: Stock DEODEXED KD1 [Root][EDT][5.4.2011]. Stock DEODEXED KC1 [Root][Einherjar Dev Team][4.21.2011]. ][STOCK UVKD1 - FLASHABLE] T959VUVKD1 Zip File. T959VUVKB5 Stock + Root. T959VUVKC1 [LEAK] 100% Stock. Deodexed KB5 Enhanced archive. You will have to use ODEN or Hiemdall to flash these ROMs. Read the DEV page to see if you want to try one of these or wait until CWM is working and other ROMs become available.

Does it actually work? Everything that I read was that Vibrant ROMs don't work on the Galaxy S 4g. Is it a custom ROM? How do you know its a Vibrant ROM?

All it took was a 10 second search on the dev forum for 'stock gingerbread'.
My apologies on the first link. While it does have downloads for both Froyo and GB roms, they are the bin files that are of slightly less use to G2x users than to O2x users. Still could have used the GB one to flash back to stock, but it's a bit more involved of a process.

I just got a rooted G2x and was also looking for this. Thanks for pointing it out.

Megaupload is of course now defucnt...any other links? I just want to use CWM to restore to a stock image

Where can I download a AOSP ROM from? One that is 100% stock ICS nothing added or tweaked in any fashion....I can't seem to find any for the TF300...their are none in the Dev section here...

hypersensation is completely stripped down. or hypernonsense is sense based with no sense so you can still use some htc apps like the camera.

No. It's got an application to tweak things, sure, but it's not tweaked.
