1. Better fit
2. More protection
3. Sturdier material
4. Smaller profile
5. Belt clip included (can be removed)
6. Flip up clear plastic screen protector (can be removed)

I used the Brando flip case, the Krussel flip case, the JavoSkin Silicone case, and thanks to my loving wife... when she saw my eyes sparkle when I saw the case... she bought it for me on the spot as my X-mas present

I have been using it for more than 6 months, it is still as good as it was. In our country, it costs about US12-15 (equivalent).
One thing: When you replace your screen protection, apply the old one to the case we are talking about. It will last even more longer.

Yes, 3000 mAh: http://www.mugenpowerbatteries.com/; taking pre-order now.. Main concern lies in the added thickness and the possible interference with GPS (though the website claims no interference)

Won't this give less network? Cause acording the manual the antenne is located in the area in the middle of the lens, I have now the 200mAh and just bought it cause it was cheap at DealExtreme to pull 100 bucks out of your pocket you must be shore thats not giving problems.

Yeap its 3000 and its more than 100 since VAT and delivery is not incl... but i am no rich guy , of cos i will wait for certain brave soul to try it out 1st before i part with my $$
but then whether its 3000, 2000 or al cheapo 1800 battery, all cannot fit into the std leather casing and i have not been able to find any leather casing catered to the diamond with extended battery... hence what this thread is all abt.

anyone has yet to find a leather casing that fit a diamond with extended battery?

No, but I had the same question, just look a few threads under yours.

There should be handsets that have roughly the same measurements. Cases for these could be a workaround until something perfect is released. Problem is, I don't know how to efficiently find out which ones would fit. If somebody with a bit of spare time could find out, that would be great.

That case is an optional boxed accessory that networks/resellers can choose to offer their customers - and not something being sold (yet, at least) separately to customers. At least that's what Samsung UK told me when I asked.

i've seen some over at mobilefun.codotuk, including silicone covers and what i think is some sort of hard gel...anti shock cases... and the leather one you speak of.

Will as soon as it arrives i bought it yesterday, Hoping he posted it today so will be here tomorrow.
I found the supplier he is getting them off with a bit of ease if it's the one i think it is, so i might buy 500 of them and sell them for £1.99 + free p&p to annoy them XD on ebay
They can even engrave XDA-DEV on the cases for a joke when i asked for no extra cost .... 5 colours

Long post of Pics for anyone wondering what the Omnia 7 black silicone case looks like on the phone as not many suppliers seem to have pics on the ads yet. *when i bought it anyway* - Yes mine has a screen protector I think it looks fine with the case as you cannot see the edges on the glass much apart from two pics which show the holes around the windows button and the ear piece / sensors.
*4th pic down if you zoom in shows what the screen protector does as already my phones been across a few of the slate tiles in the kitchen*

I think I found the perfect 3rd-party case for the phone The 'Valente Leather Pocket 15'. It's still a little tight (not too tight) but I reckon it will loosen up in a few days as it is genuine leather... so the fit will be great!
Bought it for €15,- @ a retailer called the Phonehouse in the Netherlands.

images below (note: although the phone doesn't stick out as much as in pic 1 when you push it as far as possible into the case, the corners do stick out just 1mm. so that's only a real concern when you drop it head-down)

Just got my eBay Leather Flip Case from Hong Kong

I have to say I ordered this as a stop gap until some of the custom made brands came on line. But, hey, for £6.65 delivered including stylus, screen protector and belt clip, this will do just fine . It is especially useful for propping up the phone at various angles to watch videos and the credit card slots mean I can leave my wallet at home most of the time .

please be very carful, i ordered a pouch from ebay for £3 and the first time i put it in, i thought it was stiff becuase of the leather, but when i took it out, the piece of fabric inside scratched my screen so badly :[ :[ i was SO angry, but thank god it was just the screen protector! i threw away the pouch right then and got a refund from ebay!

This is not a pouch! No way could it scratch the screen . I cannot be negative just because it was cheap. Real leather too - unless they are injecting smells now too lol!

Be careful of what ffs? Jeesh you guys are hard to please. My tongue was firmly in my cheek - I have no doubt whatever this is not real leather - no little tag to say it is genuine you see . But it does fit like a glove and has a very soft lining.
For £6.65 - and everything you get with it - it has to be a bargain that I thought I would pass on to you guys. Sorry if I have upset the cynics. If it falls apart in a year or two (which wouln't surprise me) then I'll just send off for another one .

I just ordered the book version of this. My wife has the flip one. Quality for the money and no way of scratching or damaging the phone. Not sure what all the warnings are about. Very strange!

The exact item I got doesn't seem to be listed any more but this is from the same seller and a near identical picture (mine had white stitching) but this one is over £2 cheaper!
It took 10 days or so which is not bad given the weather problems,

Thanks for the heads up. Just ordered one of their *genuine* leather ones. Not expecting it to be genuine at all but as long as it's functional and protects the phone.

I want to try the CM4 case, but I can't get myself to spend $35-40 on it. Its a TPU case with a leather card holder. The speaker vent is cool too. You can find it on Amazon and eBay. eBay has a $5 off $20 on cell phone accessories promo going on today.

This looks cool, is the door secured enough? It's concerning when it gets bumped that the door would open and spill the cards out.
If secured enough then it's a good deal for $5 only at this time.

i cant open the door at times trying to force it open.. its a great lock system they have on it and bumping it wont open that door. n yeah $5 holler heller cant go wrong with that really. i like it. just trim away the flaps with a blade or they get in the way..
