[Q] [NST/STR] system makes a copy of currently being read book? - General Questions and Answers

I have a rooted nook touch, done with touchnooter with the gmail app replaced pre-install as suggested by a forum member. I am having a problem with the stock book reader, where it seems to create a copy of the book i'm reading and acces it sometimes and the original other times. to be more clear:
when i open the book from the android screen by pressing the top left corner -image-of-an-open-book- button
OR
i select the book from nook library
->goes to 'Book A' in this case on page 80, with no highlighted word on page 97 (should be there).
but if i open it from the nook home screen by using the large "reading now" book cover (which claims the book is on page 80)
->goes to 'Book B' in this case on page 97 (but sometimes back to page 1) and has the highlighted word on page 97
then, if i read another book, by choosing it from the library, close it, open the first book back from the library, it has the page 97 highlight saved. [edit] but it still says page 80 on the nook home screen
this is of course undesirable operation... anyone know whats going on here?

[Q] Music Score PDF-Reader?

Hello,
I'm looking for a special pdf-reader and maybe you could help me.
I use the TF300 to read orchestral music scores (e.g. from imslp.org). But if I'm looking for a specific page (which page number I don't know), I must wait a lot, because only some pages are rendered. The same problem appears, if I go back in my pdf. (Of course, nobody will scroll back more than one page, but this is exactly what I do)
I think of an app, which loads the whole pdf into ram (before and not while reading). Is there something like this in the market?
I hope my question is clear, even though my English is so bad.
Thank you a lot!

[Q] I'm not a robot

Greetings XDA,
I'm using Firefox on Windows to view and post on XDA Forums and I get the "I'm not a robot" prompt while still typing my message.
I'm also getting "Session Expired" messages while still typing my messsage (in less than 1 minute).
Is there some way to configure my browser (or use another browser) to prevent this behaviour (I can't believe that the web site is designed to make it this difficult to particiate).
I was requried to reCAPTCHA (six times) in order to submit this post.
Thanks.

[Completed] Missing something.

OK to begin with a "Cleaner Pro free app I downloaded on my unrooted Ellipsis 10 tablet asked to remove some deep system "junk" files and not thinking I think it said something about UI and when I pushed allow it started deleting 62 files and then jammed and wouldn't stop its deleting for way to many minutes before it finally got unstuck. So I'm not sure what it deleted but now some words displayed on my screen in certain instances are missing either the top portion or the bottom portion of words all the way across some sentences or single words or numbers and in some cases their isn't sufficient visible text to make it legible because of the omissions. So I think some important files on some part of my tablet system got erased but I don't know what to do?And also I visited a site and hit a link to another place and then a message came up saying that it couldn't process it because my SQL syntax was in error and that I was missing line 1 etc. and needed to consult my SQL manual. I don't really know much about computers so please tell me what to do to fix these issues.Thank you.

[Completed] Can aspx-based sites function properly on smartphones?

I ask this because the site I have to be able to visit and function 24/7 is aspx-based. Here is some details to understand my issue.
The site is an affiliate-type one and I transfer money from once bank account to users, and I have to do it, when they ask it.
So, it's not a big deal for me to do that, when I'm at my workplace or my home, but I have life and I cannot be 16 hours a day at home. When I tried to access the website from my smartphone (TCL 5042D) using Chrome and Firefox and Browser (phone's own browser)(I encountered the same problem at the same spot from all 3 of them-I'll explain the problem right now), I logged in just fine. The customer's accounts are in one page and from there simply press the + or - buttons (depends on what the customer wants) and then a popup will appear, having a 2 boxes that I have to write the amount of money and a description for the transaction. As soon as I press to the boxes, the smartphone zooms as it supposed to be (in order to see what you're typing) and the popup dissapears from the screen disabling me to press the ok and to put description.
What, do you believe? Could it be a bad-written aspx site, or is it natural to react that way? And what do you suggest?
(English is not my mother language, and if you find any difficulty to comprehend the text above, post to the thread your question, in order to clarify what you didn't understand)
