[Q] Xap deployer for Mac?

Hi. It possible make any xap deployer for mac?
How do you install the WP7 SDK on Mac ?
I recommend use Parallel Desktop or Bootcamp with Windows 7 that's more easier for your phone.
yeah i been using vmware fusion to load all mods lol to phone....works good
There is a windows phone connector in the mac app store. I'm a mac developer but i need someone who know's how a XAP installer works, what data does it send to the phone, etc? Please contact me
I haven't seen anything, just **** you cant install IOS dev tools on Windows, I doubt you'll be able to get the deployer working on Mac.

Looking for a Linux launcher?

Sorry for the vague title but I wouldn't know where to look or what it's even called. Ok. We had something at my old jobs computer that was like a launcher. We could boot windows 7, or Linux Ubuntu. I can't remember what the "launcher?" was called but I want to say it started with an "A". Does anyone have any idea what I'm talking about? It would be greatly appreciated. I'm planning on porting a very popular ROM over for the infuse and would need this. Thanks for any help
What do you mean by launcher? Like boot off USB? Or what

Not really an Infuse question, but VMware does what you need. Other option is to dual boot, and you can also use Cygwin for some Linux activities on Windows.

Installed on HDD. Idk it was called like A_______ something launcher. And you would use the arrows and enter key to select what you wanted to boot. Like Linux or windows 7
VMware Player - virtual machine on top of running OS:

Or what I use, the LILO bootloader; comes with most Linux distributions, and allows the option to choose from multiple operating systems at boot.

Yep, or GRUB. LILO is just old school GRUB.

Well the one we had at work was cool. As soon as you booted the computer up you would get a menu. And the options were linux, windows 7, and something else. Then if you booted linux for example everything was linux and it was nice. Then if I wanted to boot Windows 7 I would just restart it and boot 7.

Yes, as do all of the bootloaders mentioned above. Install Ubuntu, or any other Linux distribution, and you can choose the option to select between multiple operating systems at boot.

Is it possible to root on a MAC?

I have a mac book pro, and I want to use Odin, install CWM, and root using that computer, is that possible? Must it be on Windows?

I have a mac too, I've hard conflicting reports, but I'm not sure you can (at least not easily). I'd suggest just using a friend's pc to do it. It'll take you 5 minutes and you'll never need to use the computer again.
If you what your doing you can pull the recovery image out of an odin flashable and use Heimdall to flash it. If you don't know what those are best to borrow a windows machine.
It might be possible if you have windows boot camp for Mac

I used VMWare/Windows 7 from my Mac to root my device.
There is a native way using the Android SDK

[Q] Overriding Ubuntu partition

Hey guys,
I kind of messed up my Ubuntu partition running Ubuntu 12.04. I have a dual boot configuration set up with Windows Vista and I'm currently using the GRUB bootloader. Now I was wondering whether it would be safe to install the same version of Ubuntu - or any other version - over that partition.
Thanks in advance!

I guess I'll just try it; don't think much can go wrong.
Installed the original 12.04 over the bad one some time ago. Unfortunately my BIOS wouldn't boot from a USB stick with 13.04 and we only have 700MB disks here at home so I was forced to install 12.04 again. The CD asked me to install Ubuntu over the old Ubuntu, over both Ubuntu and Vista or through custom installation and it installed perfectly using option one . I'm wondering if it is possible to install Ubuntu using 2 separate disks.
