My pc broke and i'm forced to be on laptop with ubuntu, and i need xap installer somehow, is there anyway to email xap to phone and install it or somehow without using windows?

How do you install the WP7 SDK on Mac ?
I recommend use Parallel Desktop or Bootcamp with Windows 7 that's more easier for your phone.

I haven't seen anything, just **** you cant install IOS dev tools on Windows, I doubt you'll be able to get the deployer working on Mac.

They won't work with mono as they need windows drivers for windows phone Mono is just a .NET layer for unix.
Is it possible to sideload apps from a native mac? Without having to boot camp into windows?

Hi, I just recieved an HTC HD7 with Windows Phone 7 v. 7.10 (7720) and I have no idea how to sync it with PC as external storag, I mean I must take same printscreens and I downloaded an app called [XAP] Screen capture but I don't know how to copy it on device and then how to find it and install.
Can you help? I will be grateful.

Downloaded XAPs can only be sideloaded with the Microsoft WP7 SDK developer tools, and you need to unlock your phone to sideload, which has a yearly fee of $100 to register your device for the ability.
The phone does not officially support mass storage, and simply copying a XAP to your phone using any mass storage hacks will not install the application.
So the conclusion is there's no way to take printscreen without "unlocking"?
One more question, is there any way to.do that if i'm running mango 7.5 ?
I have a mac book pro, and I want to use Odin, install CWM, and root using that computer, is that possible? Must it be on Windows?

I have a mac too, I've hard conflicting reports, but I'm not sure you can (at least not easily). I'd suggest just using a friend's pc to do it. It'll take you 5 minutes and you'll never need to use the computer again.
If you what your doing you can pull the recovery image out of an odin flashable and use Heimdall to flash it. If you don't know what those are best to borrow a windows machine.

I use a Windows 8 PC (I think here lies the real problem, there are no tools for Windows 8)
I tried developer XAP Deployer
I tried TomXAP Deployer
I tried Windows Phone Device Manager (Never worked anyway)
Zune is running
If i sent the XAP via email to myself i can install it, but i want to install it from the PC!
