Hey!
After i've researched alot i have to ask in a forum, because i found nearly nothing about my topic.
I want to have a Gameboy/GBC/GBA and NES/SNES Emulator on my Windows Phone 7, that is able to SAVE. I want to play Pokemon so damn hard or Zelda.
The only ones that i found are Wario Jewels (can't get it to work because i don't get the part with the gamelist) and vneslight which i can't install...
Are there other/better emulators ?
Again:
- want to play Pokemon
- save function should work
that's it for now... i just can't find

Hi all, im using morphgear, and i have two problems.
1. Crash Bandicoot 1 on GBA does not work, every time i open it, and start the first slide, it freezes. Any help. I have used around 10 roms of the game. I get past the start and credits, but then it stops as soon as game starts.
2. On Mario & Luigi Superstar something, the game wont save.. I have also used different roms...
Any help please ?
EDIT: i have looked on the morphgear forum, but the place is a graveyard, and new problem even crash bandicoot 2 wont save ((
To start things off, this is a description of shiny pokemon
Soft resetting for shiny pokemon takes a really long time because 1. you need to soft reset every time the pokemon is not shiny and 2. you have to sit through the title openings. Using Gameboid's fast forward option, I have dramatically reduced the title openings.
Please post if you find a shiny pokemon this way so we could trade!
How to migrate the pokemon from the GBA rom to a DS rom:
Once the pokemon is on your DS rom, you could use PokeSav to load up your DS .sav file. It will load the pokemon in your DS party (what you migrated from the GBA rom). You could then save these pokemon as .pkm files. You could also copy the file so you are not trading away your hard earned pokemon. If trading a shiny pokemon, PLEASE DO NOT MOD/HACK IT WITH POKESAV. This includes changing the stats, trainer ID, location, etc.
After you saved the .pkm files, follow this thread on how to send them to your DS.
If you do not have a DS (which you need to play the ROM legally) [or you want to do it without all of the transferring], you could use the emulator to trade over WiFi with someone that has a DS. Watch this video for instructions:
*note: I have not tested this trading method because I use the Python method
Finally, I'm sorry for such a long post but once I found out about the fast forward function, I wanted to help everyone with shiny encounters!
bump...Is this in the correct section?
anyone still play pokemon??
uhh....should I move this?
Hey, great post ! I'll be checking that in a few days. Thanks
hi,just got one of these swapped my iphone 4 for it,is it worth putting the emulator FPSE on my phone ive checked the update and im up to date and is it a lot of hassle installing this to my phone and can it brick it ???
Just download fpse using the android market and I don't see how it could brick your phone as it's just another app.
hi,im new to this phone & im hoping i made a good choice swapping my beloved iphone 4 for this,so far i like it but the brightness is terrible is there a way of making it brighter as its very dull, and how do u get the games once u install fpse ?
Proof indeed that owning an iPhone melts your brain!
1) Install fpse
2) Google "playstation iso"
3) Download games you already own, (obtaining games you have never bought is illegal)
4) Follow the fps bios instructions, follow all legalities
5) Run the game
6) Have some fun
Once you get used to the emulator scene you will love it. If you aren't able to follow instructions very well and occasionally do your own research on guides already written, and do indeed come to the conclusion you have an iphone 4 brain washed grey matter residing in your skull, then go back to the iphone
hi,i purchased fpse but ive forgot what the bios instructions are ?
it came up when i first started the app but it no longer comes up when i start it,should have bloody wrote it down any ideas please ?
It should be in the settings. You point fpse to the bios file.
settings inside fpse ? if so i dont have settings inside the app
You should be able to press the menu button (between home and search) and from there go to settings.
U have to download a bios file called scp1001 something like that, and move it in the directory of where your ps roms are kept, hope this helped

Just tried Super Street Fighter 2 and it works flawless on my play. The biggest plus is the save state feature. My play just keeps geeting better....

trying to get this to run on the leaked ICS rom , I guess it isn't compatible yet , keep getting an error when I try to open a ROM , ERROR: File not found or CRC32 not correct "GFX1"
Im downloading the roms directly through the app, and no joy.
EDIT: Just got it to work, grabbed the rom from another site , had to double check the size of the file and it worked.
yeah you must not give up. you have to find the right rom that works with this emulator. some roms are just clones. Has anyone found a working copy of street fighter 3?
So far I got Marvel vs Capcom, Street fighter Alpha 2, Xmen Children of Atom, Xmen vs street fighter, and Alien vs Predator working

What you need to do is get an emulator (an application that does what the original console/system would do, "emulating it") from the Android Market or grab some of these ones (they work well): http://apps.tigerplay.info/, copy the APK ("installer") to the phone's SD card, then use a file explorer to navigate to and install the emulator.
The other thing you need is the ROM, which is a dump of the game/content for a system. It's not legal to post them here but google can help with this, SNES ROMs end in .SMC for example, CPS (the Capcom games mentioned here) have a lot of files and the emulators just open up the .zip they come in (keeps things more organised), Gameboy Advance .GBA, Nintendo NES .NES.
Try googling "Super Mario World ROM" for example (being wary of dodgy sites) or if you know BitTorrent then you can usually get packs containing every ROM for the system.
Generally what you'll do is put the ROMs in a folder on the phones SD card, open the emulator and browse to the ROMs folder and open a ROM. Because the Xperia Play has hardware buttons you should turn off the on-screen overlay/buttons because you'll have actual buttons you can use, then go to map the buttons to the buttons on the controller.
Some emulator's you'll need to play with the graphics or frameskipping settings to get them running smoothly.
Good luck and hopefully you'll get it going!
