[Q] Streaming video player?

Hi there Basically I need a streaming video player for Android that supports lots of video formats. The functionality I need is to be able to add URLs of streaming media files to the app to be played. I know video playback is a problematic topic for Android users - it was much simpler on WM via TCPMP. So until CorePlayer for Android is out what are the alternatives for playing streaming video on Android phones?

Media Player to watch/sync video's with friends?

Is there a media player available that can sync video's with friend's? Pause, Play, rewind, etc...? Video's would not need to be streamed remotely, if the video in question was available locally for both devices? I have been googling, and the closes thing I have found is Synatop's Theatre app.
Downside to that is, max file size you can upload to the server is 200MB.
