The average wm smartphone owner would wants the {Diamond<>Back<> Streaming Media Player} on their mobile device to access all those hot rtsp:// videos, music videos and news websites. In some countries over in South East Asia, this player will be used for live TV on mobile devices and in Europe some people will use it on their mobile device to watch the world news videos on BBC. this software run in wm6.1 standar ?
I've been using Rockplayer to play my divx, wma, mp4 video files.
However I cannot play (stream) the files on my desktop via Wifi.
I know that yxflash player has that function but it is not a free solution.
Is there a free all-in-one player that will allow me to play files on the home network?

Hi there Basically I need a streaming video player for Android that supports lots of video formats. The functionality I need is to be able to add URLs of streaming media files to the app to be played. I know video playback is a problematic topic for Android users - it was much simpler on WM via TCPMP. So until CorePlayer for Android is out what are the alternatives for playing streaming video on Android phones?

There is a website that my wife watches videos on and it streams it's videos thru winamp or vlc player, is there a way to stream these movies on the Gtab. I'm using TnT Lite 2.4. I have the winamp app installed but not sure if it works for streaming videos.

I run ps3 media server on my PC for DLNA, then install BubblePnP on my android to stream the DLNA which plays through MX Player. Works perfectly.
Gotta use DLNA if you want to stream 720 or 1080. You cant use SAMBA its too slow.

I love BS player for this..also has lot of features like playing from YouTube,vid formats etc..it has good WiFi streaming performance as well,you just have to share the folder on PC and open file thru bsplayer ..very easy..

I was aiming for something like installing a software on the pc and then installing an app that will allow me to browse the pc and stream my content.
