I have a Droid and I want to use my Sd card in my camera then put it in to my phone to send the pictures. When I put the sd card into my phone after taking pictures it always says i need to reformat because the sd card is damaged. Is there anyway i can use it in both my both and my camera.

Following are the solutions:
- First eject the card and reinsert it properly. Then switch off the phone and then turn it on again. I’m sure the problem will be solved.
- If the problem is still there, then check the card on the Camera again and take some new pictures. Some camera pictures didn’t show in phone, due to the resolution. Camera resolution is different than the phone resolution.
The card works fine it just makes me erase everything when i put in back in from the camera

i had a very similar issue... i turned on my phone one day, and it had at LEAST 1000 photos missing! i got some Photo Recovery Software to address the issue, only to find out that they somehow were corrupted from the phone start?? Either way, there is no known way to deal with this issue, other than formatting the SD card, and partitioning it; and even THEN you still have that stupid issue being a possibility! -__-

Hi! I apologize, I cant seem to get the search function to work on my phone.
Anyway, I just bought the samsung infuse 4g the other day. One of the first things I did was change the default storage location for everything to the sd card. It worked fine but today I did a factory reset (just to see how it worked). Now I cant remember how to set it again. Just to clarify, it was an option to send EVERYTHING to sd card ( internal sd im guessing, the one with 13 gigs of space). Everything meaning contacts, apps, media, photos and such. I know how to do those thing individually, but there was an option for everything. Anybody know? Thanks.in advance..
If you have an external sd card, setting the camera save option to sdcard saves them to external sd card.
Do you know that? Dont know why, but it does. Everything else goes to internal sd card as far as ive seen, even game data. I never set it to do that, it just does.

I lended mine SD card to friend. And inserted he's SD card in my phone. Now he gave me back my SD card. But all my apps are missing. Music/Video is working. But all apps are gone. No one deleted them, where did they gone ? What should i do now?
Strange thing. I inserted friends sd card, and all my apps was there and fully working. WTF ? He even did not have those apps . My apps somehow transfered to he's SD card.
What should i do now ?
if all your apps are on his sd card, plug it into ur computer, and transfer all the apps into a folder. the get your sd card and transfer all the apps onto it

I didnt moved anything from that card to friends card. How did SD card content transfer to a phone, if sd card never were inserted in that phone?

I have my phone with inserted SD card in it. Friend asked for my sdcard(he needed more space, mine was 32gb) So i gave him. He gave me he's 4gb sd card. I inserted friends card in my phone. And all apps that was on mine sdcard appeared in phone. All apps that was on my sdcard, transfered to friends card from phone memmory ?
Now when he gave back my SDcard, i inserted it to my phone, and all apps that was on that card was gone. Apps are shown in Settings>Applications with SDcard pictogram. All aplications in list also has Size: 0.00, And when i push on any that somehow it shows "Move TO Sd card" function. But all theese apps were on sd card, watahell is going on ?
You could try to move apps to phone memory while using his SD, then move them back to your SD.
It's strange, anyway.
You did not change ROM or whatever on your phone in the meanwhile, did you?
One more thing i just noticed. I inserted friends card , all my applications that were on SDcard was displayed and working, it was like that mine card was inserted. But strange thing , i did unmount with friends card. And still all apps was fully working, they somehow transfered to phone memmory or what? I have HTC Desire, i think there's no enough space for all theese apps on phone memmory.
With friends card all apps are displayed, and in Settings>Applications when i choose application it shows "Move it TO SDcard" , so they are on phone, but with my SDCArd they are not even shown.
No i didnt change anything, except transfered few videos from to friends card via usb.
When i installing application that was already on my sdcard,(but now not showing up),
it says " This application will replace existing application" or something similar.
Inserted friends sd card all my applications were there, so i went to Settings>Applications, clicked on my one application and it shows option : "Move to SDcard" I clicked that. After that I inserted my Sdcard, and that application appeared on my phone, so it didnt moved it to friends sdcard. And when i go to Settings>Applications it shows Move To Sdcard . So it turns out, that phone didnt moved application anywhere when friends sdcard was inserted, but it made that application to appear on phone with my sdcard.
What the hell ? Its so strange and absolute nonsense.
P.S I cant do more Move To SDcard on friends sdcard, because it says No Space.

And when I'm installing application which is on my sdcard but are not showing up, phone shows " This application will replace installed application"
Apps are not showing up,but i can open them by File Manager. for example :
In file manager i click on video and it opens it with Rockplayer which is on SDcard, but rockplayer isnt shown in applications menu

any advices ?
The SD card in my wife's Moto X Pure died this morning (phone is saying there is no card connected). When we first put the card in we picked the option that had the phone simply use the card as additional memory in the phone, rather than keeping the card as a separate entity where you would need to drag files. She thought that google was backing up all of her photos (including almost all of our baby photos), but when we went to recover them nothing had been backed up since we got the phone erasing 95% of the baby photos
I tried to simply take the card out and put it back in, but that didn't get me anywhere. I did a recovery on the card using disk digger and it found two very small DST files titled "Sector 420728" and "Sector 39189795," but neither one of them could be opened. The phone says that it is saving the data of the card (and keeps asking me to reinsert it), and she only had a few hundred pictures on the phone, not nearly enough to fill it up the space on the phone, so my guess is that the pictures are still on the phone but it can't access them.
I have thought about trying to copy the DST files over to another SD card and inserting that seeing if it gives the correct pathing to find the photos, but I don't know how to format it correctly originally and even if I did, if that will do more harm then good.
Anyone have any idea how to recover the pictures?

So my other half recently had an android device with the micro sd set as internal storage
The phone has broken down on her and now I can’t seem to get the photos off the sd card
There are loads of photos on there from our first holiday and such so I was wondering if there is any way to get them back.
