Bluetooth Drivers - Samsung Galaxy S (4G Model)

I have Windows 7x32, and it can't find the bluetooth drivers for my phone. Anyone have a download link for the bluetooth drivers? My phone finds my pc, but my pc doesn't give me a popup or anything and in device manager, I have a periphrial (which is my phone) that doesn't install because windows can't find the drivers.

There are links to download the drivers in the Bible posted in the dev forum.

I've looked for the bluetooth drivers and still can't find them. Seems like everybody has linked to the USB drivers... found them, tried the install and still failed. Any help?

Is your phone discoverable? you have to manually check the box

yes i have im not sure as to why my phone is doing that
I have the same problem. Tried everything in Win 7 32bit both drivers... the one in samsung page and the first one before those... CANT get the captivate recognized by my PC. I tried with at win xp and it works... ANY HELP?
It might be the USB cable. Is it connected directly or through a hub? You might also try plugging it into different port.

i have windows 7 64 bit and here is what i did
1. go to Settings>Application>Development and turn usb debugging on.
2. After you connect it to the comp pull down our notifications menu and select USB connected. It will ask you if you want mount select yes and then go to my computer and it should be there.
If you have kies installed you shouldn't have any driver issue since installing that software properly is best way to insure you have the proper drivers installed. Try uninstalling Kies and installing it again with just the mobile box ticked it should work. I am also running Win7 32bit and use Kies without a problem.

[Q] Problems Loading USB Drivers for my galaxy s 4g

Hi Everyone, I am new to the Android seen, I just switched from a Blackberry to the Galaxy S 4G. I am trying to load 64 bit drivers, and as you can imagin I am not having too much luck. when I try to load them I get a error. I am using Windows 7 Ultimate.
1: the errors i get is that it can't find drivers for-
PCI Simple comunications controller, and Universal Serial Bus (USB) controller.
2: the other problem I am having is simple understanding. How do you turn USB debugging mode on and off?
3:I downloaded supperoneclick and when it loads and I hit Root, It just hangs on (waiting for device) Probably because the USB drivers aren't loading correctly.
And yes I am a N00b, so please don't be to hard on me
Thanks For any help you can offer me. Tim.
Try downloading the 32bit. I had the same problem when I did it with the 64bit. To get debugging turned on go to the phone setting, applications, development it should be in there.

Ok I did what you said and I still have the PCI controller and USB controller fualts, but it loaded other drivers also which got it to work. I was able to root it with superoneclick, and I am somewhat happy now.
what does Rooting the phone do to it? what are the advantages?
now can I view, load and unload apps using my computer, and how would I do that?
Also can I view, load and unload music, video and other files using the computer aswell? and again how would I do that? Or if you could point me to a thread that explains all this that would be great aswell.
Thanks, Tim.

Search the development forums, for info on how to uninstall system apps, applying the fota fix, using Odin, etc.

The advantages of root are many. Mainly, you now have "superuser" privileges and access to all files and folders on your phone. This will allow you add or delete what you like and make many beneficial changes.
Just read these forums carefully and keep asking questions so you don't mess anything up. Have fun modding!

check to make sure you have windows media 11 or higher on your computer. I had that issue. Running XP I had an issue but Win 7 it installed easily..
This is what I used
Motorola_End_User_Driver_Installation_5.1.0_32bit.msi
MotoHelper_2.0.49_Driver_5.0.0.exe
Windows Media 11
Also search around on google lots of people have had this issue and thats how I found my answer.. Also xoomforums.com is a good site for answers as well
OK so I installed wmp11 and it will recognize my xoom thanks for the tip. however now I cannot get ADB to work my device is there I have every sdk ever made down loaded and I have the moto USB driver mentioned installed but I can't get into a ADB to save my life.

usb debugging needs to be checked in order for the adb to work.

Transfering files to computer to phone and visa versa

When i plug my skyrocket into my computer it cant find the drivers so i cant transfer files? Is there a site i can go to to get the proper drivers?

There are links posted elsewhere for just the drivers, but I don't have the link myself. I just installed the Samsung Kies software which completes the drivers as well.

point it to where you downloaded the Android SDK (..\android-sdk-windows\google-usb_driver)
Make sure to CLICK "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"

is there another good guide i can follow? maybe there is a step i need to do before usb install? This guide assumes the usb drivers will come with the SDK but the only data the SDK tries to update is itself to SDK15 which the guide specifically mentioned not to do.

that has the same issue
i cannot get usb connectivity in for the fast boot mode
from the rootkit the when i plug in my device even after installing the universal usb drivers i think windows is installing something else. Thus stopping me from accessing it while in fastboot mode
Not really sure what to do here. USB debugging enabled and everything all the guides are pretty easy to follow and have the same steps.
Google PdaNet, download and install it after attaching your phone to pc via usb. It will also install device driver... I think it is 'android 1.0' driver issue...

nope didnt work
just so you know when i plug in the phone with debugging on i have 'android composite adb interface' installed
i have removed all the drivers from this computer previously. i can do it again though.
after installing pdanet i have 'android 1.0' pop up under other devices with an exclamation on it in device manager...i don't know if that is normal or not?
how do i know when this is working? i always try to run "oem fastboot unlock" which goes to "waiting for device" but will i no longer see the
USB control Init
USB control init end
??
It is the same issue of android 1.0 driver which i also faced in win8... You have to install android 1.0 driver manually from device manager

so if i go to install the drivers from the pdanet folder if i tell device manager to search the winusb folder it says "cannot find drivers for your hardware" and if i dont search and say have disk - i chose 'android device' then the file in android_'winusb' file but it says "specified location does not have information about your hardware"
so i cannot get it to work.
This is on XP and win7 (2 different computers). I prefer the XP one for this though
Install nexus s root toolkit, then try to install driver from there.
