Just a quick question is there a way to get the XOOM into a demo mode for showing?

Someone here used it with great success for looping a presentation at a trade show (at least that's what I recall). Search a few pages back in this section or the General section. He was from UK.

P5001 Stock Rom ICS....Google now

Just wondering if Google now can be added to the stock ICS rom on the Galaxy Tablet 2. Of course the tablet is rooted, but just wondering which package if any I should use.
Thanks

I know this thread is old but I ran into the same problem - after some researching I discovered that the p5001 is actually a "cloned" Coolpad 7295C, if you pop the back cover open and look at the lower left corner you should see faint coolpad model number "7295C" - search aliexpress, ebay or something similar and you'll find lots of cheap parts. good luck !

Google News and Weather (stock)

My apologies if this has been posted somewhere. I searched and came up empty.
My TF201 came with the stock News and Weather app. It appears to be missing from my TF700t. It's been a staple widget on my homescreen since the OG Droid. Does anyone know a workaround to get it back?
So this is a:
A) Stumper
B) No one cares
C) The solution is everywhere, just search stupid
D) All of the above?

Here's the News & Weather app, I had to dig out my old phones to find the version and pull the the apk with adb that works with the TF700T since the one in galaxy nexus's version 1.3.11 only works for jelly bean.

Thanks for your help. I didn't know the app was named "Genie Widget." I did a Google search once you posted the older version and found this thread right here on XDA. It works like a charm.

How do you expect anyone to identify the device with only one picture that doesn't show enough detail to even know what we're looking at, can't see the placement of buttons, can't see the speaker or camera or anything. Sorry, I doubt anyone can tell you with just that picture.

Thank you for the response. That's why I posted this question, I browsed the web based on the picture (the placement of the front camera and the edge of the phone are quite uncommon) but with no luck. My best chance is that someone look at the picture and knows already which phone it is.
The video where we can see the phone around 37:14 doesn't show more than the picture... I can't include the url so I made another picture with the url (sorry, it is kind of pain). _hpics.li/625c2e9

Horizontal Lighting.

I read online about Horizontal Lighting notification on the One Plus 7 Pro. I have one the past two days and trying to enable it.

I think I read somewhere (or heard in a youtube video) that it's coming with a future update, which also explains why no reviewer showed it off...

Mine only does the Horizon notification once when notification first comes in, it's not constant, I really wish it was. At first that wasn't working for me because I disabled animations in the developer options but I re-enabled one of them and it worked again. But only notifying once is not helpful at all.
It is very subtle....and yes I also wish it would stay on.

Question Split Screen not working

If I try to put an app (from recent apps screen) in split window, nothing happens: the option is there, but clicking on it does nothing.
Popup mode works fine.
Any options I have to enable?
It seems is an apk I have disabled, but not sure which one: if I re-enable all it works...
Gotta try one by one out of 95 disabled APKs :-(
Found it: it was appsedge

Especially when it's PEBKAC. At least they owned it not many do and continue feigning a need for attention.
