[Q] Cannot receive calls. - Samsung Infuse 4G

I just realized that whenever anyone calls me, it sends a busy signal and my phone loses service either until a reboot or sometimes for a couple seconds. Why is this?
From XDA App on Infused v2.1.0 OCed to 1.6 GHz

Did u restore with titanium backup, and are you undervolting?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I997 using xda premium

I did restore from Titanium Backup back at Beta 3, and have only cleared Dalvik cache since to upgrade.
I am undervolting by 25 at 1600 MHz, 50 at 1200, etc.

CM7 Overclock

I have.been trying to over clock my infuse on CM7 to 1600 mhz, but every time I set it, and reboot... my phone goes into a weird boot loopish kind of thing, and I try this overclock through the stock cm7 settings and not using set cpu, because using that app is when its at its.worse.... so I'm wondering has anyone else had this issue? Ran into it b4? And knows a fix for it? I'm on the latest cm7 build just fyi thanx in advance

Maybe ur phone can't handle 1600. Just a thought!

I don't think we have a CM7 kernel with overclock yet. Unless I missed it.

Default kernel support overclock.
Also, my Infuse gets 1.6 GHz stable, but I underclock to 800 MHz :3

You will need to provide more information for people to be able to help you. Can you at least tell us what ROM & kernel you are using?
Rom stock 2.3.6

We're pretty much running the same stuff. I'm on a stock ROM with bhundven's subtly modified kernel. I'm using version beta 2d, currently, but I've not experienced any lag - scrolling or otherwise - with any of the versions I've run.
Are you running anything that's possibly eating a lot of CPU and/or RAM?
Go to the home screen
Hold the "Home" button down until the "Recent" window pops up
Press the Task Manager button
Is there anything running?
My free ram is 152 average
I thinky this was cause nandroid backup... :-\
Maybe I'll will redo it again
BTW my phone is debloated too

Yeah, if you did a backup then maybe a restore, it's possible something restored that is causing the issue. If you start clean, make sure you do a factory data reset before the install, then wipe the cache partition and the Davlik cache after the install. Once you have the ROM on, flash the kernel, then debloat. Double-check after that to see if Voodoo lagfix is enabled. Once that is done, see how it's working.
Does The backup had save my settings right?

Good question. I know it saves user data and apps, I think, but I've never done a restore so I'm not 100% sure. I want to say yes, but I need someone with knowledge and experience with Nandroid restores to chime in here.
I'll try it when i get home ;-)

I tried restore in CWM,
after that,
it's still lagging :/
Can you please provide more information then, as best are you can?
Did you flash any tweaks, themes, anything else?
If the phone is lagging still, even after the restore, then you might as well load a new rom. Do it from a clean wipe.
nope,,
I JUST RESTORE MY PHONE USING THIS http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1358498
BECAUSE I USED THE NANDROID RESTORE IN CWM AND IT DIDN'T WORK AND BOOT LOOPED MY PHONE

Removing Kernel

Is there anyway to remove the Dragon kernel on Weapons 3.0 without restoring a Android or wiping my phone?
Sent from my LG-P999 using XDA App
I doubt anyone has cared to try it, I think that most people use Titanium BU for apps and system data and just restore that after a wipe or just do a nandroid.
Otherwise, try it and see what happens. Just remember we are not responsible for anything that happens to your phone. Best course is Titanium and a fresh install, particularly since I get the feeling you didn't do a nandroid.

Backup, Backup, Backup. The first thing I do when i get a Rom set with my apps is make a Backup. This is a lot easier than starting from scratch. Backup, Backup, Backup.
Yea, I forgot to backup before I flashed the kernel and for sum reason after I flashed the kernel I had weird random reboots that I didn't have before the kernel.... But its ok, I just restored a nandroid I already had from a few days after I flashed Weapons to my phone.... But thanks for the advice

Just flash a new kernel...Trinity maybe?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1078049
Or just wipe cache and dalvik then flash the same ROM

Just wipe cache, and dalvik cache, then reflash weapon. It will restoree the original Weapon kernel.

Overclock w/ tegrak

Do you need to change core voltages when you overclock nd if so what settngs?
Sent from my SGH-T839 using Tapatalk 2
All you need to do is load the overclock, and chose your overclock. Try under 1.3 because it may restart your phone. Its very simple actually.

Can't overclock my rooted nexus s

Hello guys i have a qusstion
My device nexus was rooted and i am using cyanogenmod 10 nightly
In settings i will overclock my phone from 1 ghz to 1.4 ghz but it don't works
If i set "set as boot" the phone can't start
Pleas help me
Try with nstools.. it's a fantastic program in the google play. You can set all the values of your kernel from there.. I had problems with settings too
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
For gods sake. If you over clock the phone to 1.4GHz then it's not going to boot, because the processor doesn't want to run at that clock speed and causes MASSIVE instabilities, checking 'Set at boot' is a bad idea too, you'll most likely end up with it boot looping. Try at 1.2GHz, its slightly more stable

Nstools is not working .. on settings that olso looks like nstools
What i must do to have 1.4 ghz not 1.2

don't set it to boot. most devices will not boot at 1.4ghz. setting it to boot at 1.4ghz is a terrible idea and bound to cause you issues. boot at the default cpu speed, then just set it to 1.4ghz and use it. but don't set the set to boot option.
But if i set 1.4 ghz whitout boot the phone restarts after 10 seconds alone
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
Not every phone can handle being overclocked. Your phone is one of them. Although the phones are made on a production line there are still to many variables in weather or not the phone can handle those clock speeds.
So it has been determined that your phone can't handle 1.4ghz. Try a lower clock speed.

As you have found out yourself, there is a method to run your phone at 1.4GHz... for 10s at a time.
My english is not.very good sorry ...
Why the phone cant handle?
Sent from my Nexus S using xda app-developers app
Because it can't. If every nexus s and every other phone with the same SoC could run at 1.4 GHz it would have been sold that that speed
In your native language look the general process behind CPU binning yields etc.
Okay i undertsand... my phone works whith 1.2 GHz very fast but if i lock the screen after 3 minutes the phone reboots ?!

That's the instability you get when over clocking CPUs. The CPU is clocked at 1Ghz out of the factory for a reason. Anyway, try setting the minimum CPU to 200mhz as well as turn deep idle off. It should help.
Xxx oops! accidentally beamed from my awesome NEXUS S! xxX
