I am trying to root with the new revolutionary root process and I am looking for the HTC drivers for my computer. Does anyone know where I can find these drivers? I have searched the forums for it and cant find it.. I have even tried going to the HTC website and couldnt find them there! Any help would be great.. Thanks!
You need to look in the TBolt Development forum, look in the forum (rooting) and the Stickies.

Yeap, and after it's installed, you can go through add/remove programs and uninstall all except for the "HTC USB driver" entry (or whatever it is called) -- with no harm.

Does anyone have a link for the latest HTC Sensation usb driver? Recently uninstalled HTCSync from my phone (before flashing ROM) and bought a new PC. New PC does not recognise Sensation as a device, and just acts as an AC charger. Done a little bit of googling but could not find it (only found HTCSync download).
EDIT: Need driver for 64bit Win 7

Sorry for bumping but naked drivers didn't work for me. I am using Viper S on my Sensation. None of theese driver works so i found this for Windows 7 64-bit:
Let's try to keep the Development forum at least a LITTLE bit clean...
Here, I'll start: I'm coming from an Atrix. I've been away from HTC for a long time and I'm trying to get ADB running on my computer. What are folks using for USB drivers with the AT&T One X?
Install HTC sync and kill the sync service.

I ran the Sync installer, but bailed when it asked me to disable the virus scanner to install Sync. I noticed it had already installed the drivers and confirmed with an adb devices. Got the drivers without Sync!
Hey,
I have a question, I been searching this forum on how to root the htc inspire 4g, but here is my problem. I know I need the ace kit hack, and a ROM i chose to use the cm jellytime. But, when i popped in the phone switched it to debud mode USB, opened the cmd hack it said something about enter in a passkey, then read the effen manual. I did READ the effen manual. I downloaded the htc sync application, was that my htc inspire 4g drviers? Any help would be appreciate, thank you guys.
Are you asking where to get the pass key? Or the drivers? Either way, instructions are in the manual.

You read the manual but not for comprehension...all you are asking is in there. make sure that you understand what you are about to do before messing the phone.

Do you think unrevoked root app will work for htc inspire 4g?

I think the safest route is via aahk. It's tried and true. You will definitely take more risk with any other method and most just don't work and require more time in fixing it so you can then use aahk.

No. unrevoked does not support your device. Why try to mess the phone when you can simply do it using the right tool? Just because of a 2 pages manual? then you should stay stock or your next post will be..."...I messed my phone and I am stucked..."
Pls tell me how to root one xl at&t running on 4.1.1
Also I want to install best custom Rom pls help
Have a look at this resource thread, it contains many useful links, including one to the root method for your device.
Also, asking which ROM is best is considered very distasteful, and is also against XDA rules. Have a look through the ROMs that are available, and find one you think will suit your needs. If you don't end up liking it, just flash another one.

Heya,
As title says I'm not really familliar in getting "deep into my htc one x", but now I have an issue and a friend told me to post it here.
Q, When I try connecting my HTC to the PC, it says that my device needs to connect with the latest version of htc sync manager. When I check for updates, it states I already have the latest software available.
Any insights?
Cheers
Try uninstalling all HTC software completely, go to the HTC website download the latest version, and install it again.
