i want to buy this phone but am skeptical about chinese phones how ever this phone sounds sweet then again dont they all how ever all the specs and features sound great i want to be able to install apps and themes on the phone and also touch flow 3d or manila could some one tell me if it is possible for this phone it does have winmo 6.5 and hvga screen if some could let me know i would highly appreciate it

Hi. I got A880 couple of weeks ago.
So, what can I say. It does what they say it should! I like it!
That's the reason I joined this site, to learn how to upgrade "cook" new ROM.
Seen WinMo 6.5.3, wanna try to install.
Phone's GPS has Route66 software pre installed, didn't like that one installed CoPilot8, works like a charm. Also installed Opera browser, IE is too clumsy.
Otherwise camera, Bluetooth, WiFi all exelent.

Do not buy copies!
Here we dedicate only to HTC devices

Stay with HTC authentic products for quality, etc.

Please except my point of view. I do TEST! I have many different devices besides the phones. I have one of the first N95's, now waiting on N900 been delivered on Wednesday. Had Motorola's and so on. Here just decided to try something different.
If I find that the phone is unacceptable, I'll junk it and move on. But first I will post my findings.
I'm I stepping out off line here trying to learn and compare?? You tell me.....

This isn't really the place to get updates or reviews on cloned phones. It's hard enough to get feedback on non-HTC phones, even if they have Android or WM OS on them. There is a German forum exclusively for Chinese phones that has a big thread on your phone. Check that out (chinamobiles.org).

Happy to help. Go to http://translate.google.com. In the translation space, put in www.chinamobiles.org. Choose German to English (or whatever else you like) translation and click away. In the forum, choose the Windows Mobile section.

A few questions about A880
Hello!
Could you please answer a few questions about A880:
1) Is the USB port standard or proprietory
2) How is the voice quality/Wi-Fi range
3) Most importantly, have you tried it with 3G or 2G/3G combo SIM card
For example in the USA on AT&T network some Chinese clones do not work
because of compatibility issues with SIM cards. I understand that the phone is 2G only but my SIM card is 2G/3G combo

You can look at the technical characteristics of Sunno A880.

Any english firmware? Got mine with non-working camera, seems firmware' issue as seen the matter on chinese forums...

а880 существует в двух версиях - без автофокуса (a880l) и с автофокусом (a880af). прошивки абсолютно одинаковые за исключением драйвера камеры. я покупал одним из первых A880L а прислали A880AF с прошивкой от A880L. потом пнул продавца - и саппорт прислал правда английскую, прошился - всё заработало. кинь мыло в личку - скину тебе прошивку.

Windows Mobile 7 on HTC sensation

Hello guys, I know this might sound funny but am just wondering if all the gurus here will ever think of making a dual boot for sensation so it runs windows mobile 7. Just got my HTC sensation today and am loving it

Lol oh come one. This kinda thing has been done before . Back when the OSX86 community was trying to makeOSX boot on a pc they had a headline saying "CLICK HERE TO SEE OSX BOOTS ON A PC". When you clicked, i was a picture with cowboy boots with the osx logo ontop of a pc case xD. So loosen up dawg ;D

Flash it half a year ago, Android 4.4
kernel 2.6.39.4-Tiamat-3.015. worked fine, recently stao included only knompkoy volume up, no one was able to include. there is nothing complicated, unscrew the two screws and disconnect the battery in the phone to reset. Thought can anyone knows how to bring to life again in England or in America?

Doesn't work!!!
I would guess it happened somewhere between steps one and two... If it just straight didn't turn on, take it back apart and double check the connections. Maybe I can't read your translation correctly, but you took it apart for... What? To do a "battery pull" on a Xoom? I've had mine for two years and have never had to do that. Hard reset = volume up + power button.

No, I bought it for that would enjoy. First stop triggered from the button, and then maintained the only buttons plus volume up, then do not turn on. APollyon is right. You don't have to pull battery on Xoom. You get trouble when you disassemble Xoom. Since you already disassembled it, open again and check all wire and battery connections. Check that there is no broken internal componants. (Google translate is translating funny)

После того как я установил GApps с последним соглашением от Google , по идее планшет должен был уйти на перезагрузку с новым обновлением! Но он просто моргнул в последний раз. Дальше планшет перестал запускаться. Любыми комбинациями клавиш громкости, любой перезагрузкой батарей. Компьютер не видит планшет вообще. Для того что бы компьютер увидел планшет, он должен как минимум включиться до логотипа красного цвета М. Но он не включается! Единственное показывает лампочка заряд батареи белым, как только батарея получает полный заряд, лампочка загорается зелёным! Имеются может быть программа запуска планшета снова??? Если имеется был бы всем помогающим благодарен.
