Google navigation doesn't show up under task manager - Samsung Infuse 4G

Just got the infuse, loving it so far.
Google navigation doesn't show under task maager. Therefore, I have to close it individually. Is this by design or a bug? I have installed launcher pro. I wonder if this change was made by launcher pro.
Thanks

I think it gets auto closed when u close maps.

Its my understanding that is excluded from task manager. It is designed to run in the background giving directions without nave actually open, allowing you to do other things
The only way to exit nav is by pressing the back button and confirming exit or by menu.exit

Same thing here. Go to settings >applications>manage apps>all tab>market. Go here then choose market and clear its cache and data. After I did that it updated and worked fine.

I've got the new market (I think -- curvy top graphic with the featured apps in a 3D scroll, is that what you mean by "new market"?). What bugs me, though, is that the "My Apps" button from my Nexus One has been replaced by a "T-Mobile" button, and I have to use the menu to get to the "My Apps" listing. Is there any way to fix that (although I recognize from T-Mobile's perspective that it's not "broken")?
I like the old market UI better

Thanks, worked great. This is the best fact finding website on the internet. That is why I have the premium version. Well worth it.

Widget locker app

Does anyone use widgetlocker? & if so do you guys get an amount of fc? Or the phone freezes?
Sent from my SGH-T959V using XDA Premium App
none here, although you could have asked this in the general chat thread I started. try to reinstall.
sent from my not so stock SGS4G
i had that problem with the older versions of widget locker. the current version works fine.
I just purchased it last night. So far no force closes that I can trace to Widgetlocker. Runs great on my Galaxy S 4g.

Nosir, been using it for a week or so and it runs smoothly, not a single force close. Try using a custom theme, or just reinstalling it.
It was one of the first apps I bought when I got the gs4g. No locks/freezes that I can attribute to it.
Blade

Double press home for any app.

I am sure there are many people who do not use the samsung voice ( vilingo) and the double press home is not used. This is like not using a hardware key
i use this homeMYhome from c3k user from the galaxy sII forum to remap the home button double pressand works well
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1299923
The download links are there in that thread
Before installing delete /system/app/VoiceToGo.apk
Works well when it works but after a while when I double click it makes me choose what app I want it to open, its as if the program loses its settings

Works but very ugly... it opens the homemyhome app for a fraction of a second before actually opening the app you chose. :\

Google Navigation blue on blue

Hey all, I love the navigation on this guy, he works great. I let my dad use the thing the other day and he wouldn't stop complaining how the planned route and the arrow (you) blend in. Does anyone know how to change that? I don't care how it works, I'm running cm9 and I have no problem messing around with adb or something. Thanks in advance.

I think you'd be better off trying out a navigation app that has a different scheme. I'm sure in some of them you can change it to your preference. I always use Google Nav so I don't have much info about the different apps out there but someone should be able to recommend one. CoPilot Live seems to get mentioned a lot.
A good one is Waze. But no, GoogleMaps and Google Navigation is not customizable

Yeah, I've been using waze. I just like the cleanliness of Google Navigation. Thanks for the suggestions.

[APP] GMD Gesture multitouch gesture control

Hey guys not sure if this is old news but since I haven't seen it posted here thought I'd point out this app in the play store. Works great in 4.1.2 and makes switching between apps and launching new ones a snap.

Has anyone else noticed that the function 'disable while keyboard is on screen' is not working? Have I misunderstood something? And can u make use of the 'samsung actions' (snote and multiwindow menu)?
Thanks in advance!
