Sorry if this has already been explained but what's the new market about? What new features does it have? And is it an official android update?

It's more a new look more than anything, and it is official

Hello,
I have originally bought vodafone's sensation off ebay and almost couple of weeks later my local version came out and i bought that.
recently the local version got my language support natively cross apps OTA
so i was wondering could i copy the ROM from my local version into vodafone's for the local language support i'm looking for?
Thanks
I don't understand what you developed.

I think the most noteable change was the addition of the music library/google music integration in the market.
Now this is a bit odd....I took my phone to tmobile and they upgraded it to 2.3.4 and now ive got the old market and it doesn't seem to be upgrading....not that I mind exactly.....just find it odd

Download the newest Android Market version from here. Then install it via Astro or whatever file manager you choose.

I have seen this already on this forum but im too stupid to find it so here goes:
I would like to flash a custom rom now but then in a week/two weeks when htc rolls the official update to ics, id like to have the official htc update, how do i do that?
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using XDA Premium App
Just flash the official update when it comes out, it will fully wipe the phone and bring it up to date with all the latest HTC bells&whistles.

Just don't root stay on stock. Easy answer.
Sent from my HTC Sensation Z710e using xda premium
Or I suppose you could flash a custom ROM now, and then, when HTC releases the official ICS ROM, restore your nandroid backup of the original HTC Rom, restore the apps using Titanium Backup, and then update using the official HTC update (which will be OTA I guess?).
That would work right?
