My phone was 1.70.605.0 when I rooted it with Revolutionary. Have a rom on it and it works great. No problems.

That's the one I used when I first got mine..
Pay attention to the end.. Install Rom Manager and have it install the latest CWM so recovery sticks.

Well hello Samsung user. Welcome to the evo. Rooting this phone is as pain free as turning your samsung on. Maybe you should read up a little bit.

By the way no its not i've tried before 40 steps no thank you,
Try rebooting the phone, then updating both profile and PRL.
Unrevoked had my 2 evo's rooted in 5 minutes each. Not seeing how that is hard. But anyways, glad you got the update to go through.

Not sure if you're just joking or not?
But he posted this here because his phone is one of those that are getting the ICS update. He has the Korean phones. And he is apologizing for not mentioning that up front.
Congrats, Riot147. Let us know how you like it!

Welcome to ULCA3. Still 2.3.6. Skyrocket is in line for the update. We just can't see how long the line is, or the wait. Other phones will get official 4.0 update before we do. So hang in there.

SGN2 AT&T 4.2.2 update?

Hi everyone,I hope this is the correct forum. How do I stop getting the OTA update notices from At&t on my SGN2? I rooted it in March and I know that accepting At&t's updates will have negative affects. The notice pops up everyday all day and it's annoying. Does anyone know if there is a 4.2.2 update available on this site for my rooted SGN2 and if this will stop the notice from At&t? If so, will you post a link? I already have TWR installed.
Thank you,
tsairox
