I have flashed Android Revolution HD 3.0.2 yesterday and 3.0.3 this afternoon.
I have some issues relating with the Standby Mode and Lock screen.
When i want to lock the screen, i have to try and press the power button several times before my HTC become standby. It's also the same case when i want to turn on my HTC from standby mode.
Does anyone have the same issues? please advise.
What should i do?

Ah, glad to see I'm not the only one with the lock issue on Android Revolution.
I've just tried a different ROM and it works fine. I just have to press the lock button about 6 times before it actually puts the screen to sleep, the other 5 times I lock it and it locks but the screen doesn't sleep, it just goes to the ring screen.

Hi guys,
When I get a message the phone vibrates 3 times, like normal. But sometimes randomly it vibrates 1 time and then unlimited vibration. Until I get it out of my pocket and press the powerbutton so the screen goes on again. When the screen is on again the phone resumes the 2 vibrates. Very strange. I had it on multiple roms with different radio's. I don't use TF3D but HTC Home Plugin VGA edition.
I've experienced the same issue you speak of with the stock ROM, and I haven't found a solution or cause yet either.
I think it was this what caused my phone to sometimes go out. Because the vibration consumed all the power.
Do you use Touch Flo?

That would be the angry bee. It is something that just happens. I've had it so bad that I have had to soft reset the phone. It only happens to me every great once in a while. However, I haven't run the stock rom since about 2 hours after buying the phone.
has happened to me twice now.
ive had the phone about 2 months.

I've had it happen to me a few times and had to soft reset it to make it stop. It doesn't happen too often, so I haven't been too worried about it.
I've had it happen when I launch an application just as it is starting to vibrate to signal a notification.
Do you guys also always have it as the second vibration? When it hangs it always is the second vibration at me. And when I press the screen again he makes 2 after it again.
I had a similar issue with the initial stock rom - my wife messaged me in the middle of a meeting and my phone would not STOP VIBRATING. Since it was on the desk, it buzzbuzzbuzzed really loud.
Now I'm on the Energy 3.0 rom and have not had an issue. Even with the updated leaked stock rom I didn't have the issue.
I discover that it only vibrates wrongly when I have the screen off. Pretty annoying though.
Don't we use some kind of stuff in common?
I use:
HTC Home VGA Edition for front end instead of manilla
HomeScreen++ for the handy shortcuts
I checked some things again, I am not 100% sure but I think it was HomeScreen++ that caused the problems here. The exact settings: at the Tools tab "Lock if Display is Off and vice versa, which didn't work anyway at the touch pro (did work on htc's I had before though), but I checked it off and now it still rings 3 times and no less or more. Hope this was it.
I do not use HomeScreen++ and it happens to me at least once a day, sometimes twice. Mine always seems to happen on the third vibrate, it will do the first two and then the third one just stays on. I press the power button for the screen to come back on and it stops.
I have it too sometimes.
EnergyRom 3.0
And you guys have something that auto lock the screen when you press the power off button? Or do you lock the screen before pressing the power button? Because here it seems to have something to do with the locking in combination of the standby mode (screen off)
when someone call me after i finish talking i can't on the screen. when i press the power button the light in the bottom softkeys(search, back, menu, home) turn on, but the screen does not turn on. i have to take out battery and reinsert and on and everything works fine. i also notice that certain softwhere the bottom right side of the screen not working in potrait, but all screen area work in landscape mode!!!
please help!
i have tried to follow steps in these thread but cannot find the calibration scripts for desire s.
Sometimes it is helpful to mention stuff like the current ROM you are using ...
PS: Never pull battery out whatever the case is. Try the combination (Vol- & Vol+ & Power) to hard reset the phone.
I have tried fallout 5.0, reaper, cynogenmod 7.2 latest nightly and currently in blindIce v12-final edition in the past 1 week. All rom has similar problem.
[Q] how to calibrate my touch screen? all those rom has no file mentioned TScalibration. i have tried steps in these post:
1. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1481247
I have an HTC Explorer A310e here, running Android 2.3.5, HTC Sense version 3.5. The phone is not rooted.
Issue is, if the screen is left idle for a few seconds it becomes irresponsive alongwith capacitive buttons, doesn't recognize touch. Then, if I lock the screen and unlock it, screen starts working again and becomes irresponsive again if left idle for a few seconds. I'm not talking about that the screen Timeout here or that it locks, screen remains lit, it just becomes irresponsive. Power mode is on High Performance, Screen tineout is set at 45 seconds. I reset the phone, but that didn't solve the problem.
Now, considering that it starts recognizing touch again after locked and unlocked, I suppose it's not a hardware issue. So, please, if any body could tell any solutions, I'd be grateful.
Ok, if i let my Tab sleep for like 5 minutes, when i try to wake it using the power button, the screen comes on, but when i touch the screen nothing happens at all, the screen will go dim and then off as if im not touching the screen(which i am constantly). I know the device did not hang as i can rotate it/use the hardware volume buttons, they function normally. After about a minute more or less, the touch is back to normal, the screen works fine as long as it doesn't go into standby for long. if i reboot the device, everything still works fine, only when the device goes to sleep then this happens.
Btw my tab is GT-P3100, i thought it was a firmware problem, so i went from ICS 4.0.4 to JB 4.1.2 and now im on CyanogenMod 10.1. All three firmware gives the same problem, touch screen does not respond to my touch from wake, only working properly after about a minute. Anyone has encountered the same problem before?
Try different Rom,
Prefered stock,

I'm having trouble with 3.0. Just updated to 4.4 today via dottats tool. Flashed twrp. Installed rom and it hangs on white HTC screen. I can turn off and on screen with power button. When I turn screen back on, I see cleanrom lock screen. When I swipe up it goes back to white HTC screen. I can power down with all options by holding power button from HTC screen.
I've reinstalled, extra wiped, used different download mirrors, reflashed recovery, etc multiple times. I just installed a different rom via twrp and that's working fine. I actually got into the rom after several attempts on one installation but there were several thingsmissing (chrome, or any browser for instance). Since that, I haven't been able to get past the white HTC screen at all, except to see cleanrom lock screen and advanced power options
Any ideas?

This is a better place to ask such a question. :good:
When I installed cleanrom 3.0 I had the same problem. I had to let it sit for awhile before it would go to the setup screen. When you boot try letting it sit for awhile and see if it goes past that screen.
Its normal just let it sit for 5 minutes and the set up screen will pop up
