Try this. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=13328125

System panel is also a good app to monitor CPU usage.

Most this background apps (processe) is system apps, and it is dont usefull terminate it...But when you wish, you can try somewhat terminate, wiil you see what happened. You cannot make some big mess, always you can make Soft Reset.

Temp Monitor & OC Settings

What's a decent temp monitor on the market? Free and/or Paid
Also, what are most of you running on Setcpu? Ondemand? Performance?
Setcpu doesnt work.
Disregard, i see that toast 1.1 enables it.
Setcpu comes with a widget that reports battery temp.I'm using that
I use temp monitor lite.. Its free and if you read up on it, its probably the most reliable temp monitor. It shows in the task bar and doesnt have a widget. Its very good on battery.
The setcpu widget very rarely updates. Its not reliable at all. It showed my temps at 35C for 24 hours straight, if i checked inside of the program in System Info it was never that high.

always use ondemand.. if you want to benchmark or something then just set your min to 767 but move it back down afterwards.
ondemand will save your battery life and your phones life
I use "BatteryLife" from "Curvefish"
Nice looking battery widget that's 2x1 with adjustable color settings, and a nice temp monitor.
What's funny is SetCPU and BatteryLife report two different temps. SetCPU is typically lower while BatteryLife is higher by about 2-3 degrees F. Weird considering they're both looking at the same sensor.

Works as it says. Some suggestions:
- Display mAh level of battery
- Display graphs that can show temperature mV, mAh and so on.
Take a look at this app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ccc71.bmw
The alarm feature here is useful. Consider implementing other features that give people more reason to download this app over alternatives.
Overall great app though!
Thanks

No. I read some quote the other day from a developer of one of the apps (can't remember which) and he said Sony hasn't given access to this, so ATM they can't make apps that show this. Sony has to grant that "permission" first.
I'll like it too!
That will be so simple, please add this feature!!

Not so simple I suspect.
Since the app code is running on the phone, and only displaying on the watch, it has no idea what the battery voltage on the watch is. It can easily see things on the phone though.

But the watch shows the % for example in low battery warning (15% or 10%). Just show it continuously on the bar

App not closing when lock screen

I only have allowed whatsapp, weather, and wunderlist app to run when screen is locked and i noticed for example when i run Instagram and i lock my screen the app still running for hours.....
The only way to close apps not allowed to run is to clean all apps under the "recent apps menu".
This does not happen in p9 lite for example, without need to clean the recent apps tab, when I turned off the screen all the apps not allowed closed completely
Is this a bug or its normal?
use greenify could be a wake lock
When you close an app, it's important to use the back button rather than the home button.
go developers settings and change background process to minimum might help you out to get less apps running into the background
but just for info . its healthy to keep apps running in background even if it taking ram it will stabilize your multitasking ! .
GD Luck .

I'm having the same problem. It's a shame that so many members chimed in with no solution but instead tell you that having apps running in the background is best. The fact is, this is a feature that can be configured on the Honor 8 but it currently isn't working whereas it used to work. I don't want to keep apps like browser, games, moviepass, or apps that I don't care about notifications anyway such as Snapchat. All I want is to just lock my phone and have comfort knowing that all the apps I wanted closed will be closed.
So the question remains, has anyone found a solution for this? Is this just a problem with conflicting settings configurations? If you don't have a solution, please don't respond.
