[Q] CM9 MMS

So I got ICS up and running with no issues but that white background on the messaging app is killing me. Anyone know how I would go by finding a working CM9 messaging apk for our phone? I was using the cm7 mms apk on MHX superlite and on previous ROMs but from my understanding the CM7 one will not work with ICS.

AOSP MMS app

Just wondering if there is a fix to the sideways pictures in the messaging app and where I could find one. It'd be nice if it was inverted (blacked out) and supported emoji's and quick reply.
All else fails, how could i modify my current mms.apk to have my vertical pictures display correctly?
Thanks in advance!
its a current bug my friend. As for the rest, cm10 MMS does all that
So what you're saying is there is currently not a fix? No one has tried?

[Q] Any Fix for No Picture Messaging?

Hello,
Is there a fix for this, anyone? I can't send picture messages. Receive seems OK. I can receive picture emails, and have received a couple of MMS with small pictures. I just cannot SEND. I have searched and have not been able to locate the question asked or answered, especially for this ROM. I have been on XBSA ICS ROM v5.2 for a while now. I have most issues resolved (keys, text message length, etc.), BUT, I cannot seem to send picture MMS no matter what I try. Messaging app and GO SMS Pro both stay stuck on send. I have tried:
- GO SMS (great for text, no picture send)
- regular Messaging app (inverted and not inverted, whatever that is)
- Multiple settings (preserve image size, don't preserve image size, manual entry of APN, etc., etc.)
- I have tried using the mms.apk for ICS from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1591989
- Before that (above) I used mms-non-inverted.apk that was in the XBSA v5.2 ROM (or the original ROM, whichever it arrived in)
- I have viewed the suggested links presented when starting this thread (clearing messaging app cache, etc.)
My APN (Straight Talk) is set up; calls, texts, internet, GPS all OK. Is this a network issue? Baseband? If so, what/why?
My phone is LG Thrill P925 with XBSA SU670 ICS ROM, 'Jeckyll and Hyde' kernel with no additional clock changes

Handcent sms does not work for me. It even not running. I am on XBSA 5.2.
Any idea?
Exactly like me, it won't even start.

Hyper Drive Rom MMS quality?

I am very eager to flash this ROM. All I am worried about is the AOSP MMS quality. Has anyone experienced bad quality or blurry pictures when sending an MMS through the AOSP messaging app?
Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

I haven't flashed that rom but I'm pretty sure that will occur whatever rom you're running. Pretty sure they all use the same Mms.apk so it's going to have that effect on every rom. It sucks, I know. But I just live with it.

Has anyone pulled off GOOD quality MMS on AOSP messaging on HYPERDRIVE?

I'm sure most of you know that installing the AOSP MMS application through HyperDrive as your messaging program doesn't result in good quality MMS photos and etc. It loses resolution when sent. I knew of a few fixes for it, but I was curious as to how others have gone along with this problem (if you have installed the AOSP messaging app.)
The reason I want AOSP so badly is because of group messaging.
Thanks in advance!
