[Q] Is there someone .....rooting/unrooting=OTA issue

The device I'm talking about: Transformer ww 8.4.4.11
Bought the device with HC3.1 v. 8.4.4.11 ww
I've rooted the device, without problems.
Wanted to update OTA to 3.2 ww.
Unrooted the device. Checked with rootchecker, so it is unrooted, no superuser, no busybox on it. Now it has again HC 3.1 v. 8.4.4.11. ww
Since that, my ota doesn't work.
Question: Is there anyone who managed to update his device (OTA to 3.2 ww) after a rooting unrooting procedure?
If yes, please, please tell me how.
Thank you.
Well... it seems that no one managed to get the ota...
In this case I'm the only one who received it. Cos I did receive it.
i'm not shure if i understand your last post. Did you get the ota? cause i unroot my device today to 8.4.4.11 (HC 3.1) I can update is manual to 8.6.5.7 but i unroot it specialy to 8.4.4.11 to check if i will get again ota.
So, did you get it and had to wait much time or how i should understand your post ^^
Don't even need to unroot if you upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2 using firmware for asus site.

I mean't OTA. I wanted to try, if i will get OTA updtes after flash a stock rom. In the post you show they talk about flashing update manual. I know about this and how to do it. So i will wait a few days and see if my TF will tell me something about updates.

I have. Assuming you have unrooted properly all you need to do now is re-flash an official update from the Asus site. If that doesn't work you haven't unrooted properly and you'll need to NVflash back to stock and re-flash another Asus download. Should be solved after this and allow fota updates to be downloaded normally and installed.
i have unrooted my TF like in this thread yesterday.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1154947&highlight=unroot
i took the original asus firmware 8.4.4.11. I could take the new one 8.6.5.7 but i specially took the older one to see if there will be an ota update. i have no message till now that there is an update for my device.
Does anybody know how long it could take? now there are 30h gone since unroot and flash an original asus FW. If i try manualy to search for an update my TF says there isn't one for my device now.
is there a difference if i take a WW Firmware or a DE? Don't know if there will be problems with the OTA updates if i take the WW Firmware. I'm from Germany, so i took the DE Firmaware.
EDIT: I forgot to say. I have the stock recovery and no Superuser app. And the flashing was without any problems.
Solved
I get the OTA update today. The only thing you have to do after unroot properly and flashing a stock rom is to wait some days.

[Q] root & upgrade to custom firmware

Hi!
I recently acquired a B60 serial, TF101 that has the android version 3.1 ; with build number HMJ37.US_epad-8.4.4.11-20110711
The system is prompting for an update , I believe it is for the 3.2 upgrade, which I didn't do yet.
I am very much interested in getting custom firm ware installed.
I had an opportunity to read the forum, and just needed directions in the right way:
1. Should I upgrade to the V8.6.5.9 (Android 3.2) from the ASUS website or the OVA that the system is prompting me to do so? I am just concerned with the following statement from ASUS website: ※Firmware update cannot do *SKU conversion* and downgrade version .... I believe this means, I can't downgrade after?
2. I can use the Universal Rooting Tool that is discussed on this forum, but I believe in that case I need to do #1 above, is that correct? or Can I do it with the stock firmware that I have?
3. the custom firmware I am interested in is the Android Revolution ; it says it requires: Clockworkmod Recovery - using the #2 mentioned above, will it be installed automatically?
Thanks.
P.S. Let me know anything else that I have missed.

[Q] Last Firmware update

Hi,
I'm facing some problems with the last firmware update. A receive the msg in the TF101 to update the firmware but when I try to install it blocks with the android dummy looking at an exclamation point.
The Asus is rooted, is there a way to get this update?
Thank you all in advance.
Flash back to stock

Just downloaded the WW firmware from the Asus website, not sure how to get it on my tablet though, can anyone help?
My tf300t is unlocked btw so cant get the ota update.
Thanks

And by the way - any german moto g have the 4.4 update already? is there an flashable version? and most important: can i root the 4.4 already?

Hallo Pascal,
Unroot by installing the stock images again: http://theunlockr.com/2013/12/06/unroot-motorola-moto-g/
Nope, no German handsets have the update yet, US customers getting it first and even there the rollout is slow. Expect it in January as OTA or see next point:
Flashable version should be up in a few hours, there was a system dump and upload of the OTA, the devs are working on it. In this case, no need to unroot, just wait for the flashable version.
The root methods from 4.3 didn't seem to work, but you can flash SuperSU or Superuser from a custom recovery after flashing the OTA when it's available.
Merry Christmas to you, too!
Opps, reading too fast, understanding too slow - deleted
