[Q] Flash/youtube video stops working with swap - Milestone XT720 General

Running CyanogenMod 6.1.2 - 0.10 (Android 2.2.1+) , with boot2.img and Go Launcher Ex.
Is anybody having trouble playing flash and youtube video with boot2.img or boot5.img?
After a few days without rebooting, neither the youtube app or flash video on browser (stock or miren) would play flash video anymore. In you tube, it would play for 10 seconds, before stopping with an error. In browser, it would say video cannot be played.
Quick reboot (only rebooting the UI) through link2d doesn't fix it. Only a full reboot, either with fastboot boot2.img, or regular reboot would fix it.
I only have this problem running CyanogenMod with fastboot. No swap works fine. Never had this issue with MIUI. I have seen it around 3-4 times for the past 2 weeks.
Maybe my swap partition is corrupted? Or maybe there is a problem with swap handling in CyanogenMod?
Thanks.

Posting what I found in case someone else is hitting the same issue.
I found this. I tried removing twitter and reboot, but I still had the same problem. Then I also removed moboplayer and reinstalled youtube, and the problem went away. I am guessing re-installing youtube fixes the codec previously corrupted by other apps.

[Q] Video issue with TV Shows App / TV.com App

I had to flash my tab, long story, but I did a format, NVflash and started from total scratch! So I have now installed everything back per the instructions provided for each component, Vegan 5.1, Vegan5.1.1, flash, market fix and the new kernel 2.6.32.30. (Also tested with 32.29 kernel)
Issue -- Ever since I started from scratch TV Stream and TV.com show up in like a phone size screen. I have uninstalled flash, reinstalled it, cleared caches, wiped data, etc. etc..
Any ideas as to what is causing this or what I might look at to try and fix this? Something in build.prop perhaps?
Try going to spare parts app and unchecking run in compatibility mode, then reboot. Worked for me with T.V.com
Must have tried that ten times today with three different kernels but read your post and figured I would try again. And it worked.. I think the issue must have been I was rebooting as opposed to powering down. Thanks.
How do you get tv.com on the gtab, it will not load on mine from the market i get a message that it is not compatiable with my tab.

Video stopped working on G2x (anyonelse?)

I was watching videos on youtube via the youtube app, when the video stopped working, but the sound was still playing fine. I did the update through the LG update tool, so I am running GB 2.3.3 and the phone is not rooted ..... anyone else?
and btw, the camera is not displaying live on the screen (just black screen) either (but can take pictures and view them)
yes i used other video players with the same result
I also cleared the cache (no result) .... and did restart the phone, which seemed to fix the problem for couple of minutes.
I wasn't able to find too much info on google about it (that's why I am posting here) .... and yeah, I am aware of the problems G2x had/has ...

View Video Error

So this has happened quite a few times now. for some unknown reason, when i view videos using Gallery, i see about a second of video footage, then i get the View Video error. I am not sure what causes this. The only way i have been able to fix this was to reinstall my rom AND do a wipe.
this has happened at least 3 times now. After "fixing" it will be fine, but then it will pop back up without knowing how or why.
the only solution i have is to use a third party video player, but that isnt the point.
I am running Viper XL 2.0 with the beastmode kernel, but this was happening before the kernel was flashed.

[Q] Stuttering videos with 4.3 update

Ever since updating to the newest official 4.3 ROM, I've been having issues with stuttering/juddering video. This will happen in both Youtube and BSplayer (HW acceleration). The stuttering will happen every few seconds, and seems to primarily affect 1080p videos, which many new Youtube videos are, as well as those I have on my SD card.
I have tried reflashing from scratch with the ODIN file that was just recently posted, which did not fix the issue. Nor did multiple factory resets. I have tried Youtube immediately after flashing the ODIN file and factory reset without setting up my accounts or loading any apps.
This did not happen with the stock 4.1.2 for me.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions?
Bump. I'm surprised no one else has noticed this. Either that, or my phone coincidentally became defective at the time of the update...

on fresh upgrade to 4.3, completely stock, and don't see it. Could be your connection, or maybe trying turning off HW acceleration?

I'm editing this since further experimenting says something has changed since the fresh ODIN load. BSplayer actually works fine now; the playback is smooth as expected. However, Youtube is still terrible, with regular stuttering. I can even play a video I downloaded from Youtube in BSplayer and it plays well, but in Youtube it stutters a lot. So, at least it seems like it's not a hardware issue. However, it is still very odd. It does it with both the original version of Youtube that comes with the 4.3 ROM, as well as the updated version from the Play Store. And the issue happens via both 4G and over Wi-Fi.
Thanks for the feedback!

Software issues persisting after reset

TL;DR: Audio/video freeze on my phone even after factory reset. Flashing new ROM solves the issue except when I start certain apps which causes it to reoccur until I restart the phone.
I have a Poco X3 NFC and shortly after requesting to unlock bootloader I stared having a bug where whenever I played media (spotify, youtube, netflix, etc), the audio and video would stop/stutter every few seconds. The issue occurred both on speakers and bluetooth. After trying unsuccessfully to solve the issue I factory reset the phone and thought that would be it. However even after a factory reset I was still unable to play videos or music. I then tried the next best thing. I flashed the stock fastboot ROM from my computer using the Mi Flash Tool but the issue still continued.
Thinking it could be a problem with MIUI itself I then flashed TWRP and installed ArrowOS with the Optimus Drunk Kernel which greatly helped performance and battery life. For a little while the issue seemed gone but after opening facebook messenger I started having the same issue. A bit of experimenting revealed that some messaging apps like facebook messenger and the dialer caused the issue to reoccur until I restarted the phone and it worked again.
My only theory is that somehow a low level program like the bootloader somehow got corrupted and causes this issue when my messaging apps are running something in the background (although the issue continues after force stopping those apps). Does anyone have any thoughts on this issue or ideas how I can fix it?
