Krylon has said that that team is no longer together and bionix project is no longer.
he is working with whitehawkx.

From what I understand, lots of T-Mo dev's build off Da_G's source, or at least I'm told (from him).
Wouldn't mind having a new dev though, I'll test.
You should have asked him to help port CM7...he was one of the major devs who got the Atrix supported by Cyanogenmod. I'd rather him help make a stable CM7 so we can get nightlies and CM9 when ICS comes out. You think you can ask him to do that instead?

The only reason why I suggested the CM7 is because CM9 will be ICS based and eventually 2.3.5/6 will be old. OC'g to me, now, is pointless because I don't have a need to OC. Some people might want to OC but I only did it to see how high I can score on benchmarks.
My vote is to make CM7 stable so Cyanogenmod can make nightly updates and eventually port CM9 to the i727.
Yeah I'm down for cm7/9 so ill keep this up for a day or so before telling him. Thanks for the feedback

Not sure if the audio issues are kernel related or not but whatever he can do would be appreciated greatly by many in the community. I would willing to contribute to him for his efforts if he can get the few kinks worked out to get it supported by cyanogenmod.

Don't worry, we have devs working on kernel. Hypothetically, once the CM7 kernel works, MIUI shouldn't be a problem.

Yep it's true, I posted about this a week ago....
I have been working with MiuiAnderson to figure out why the build process is not working for the sgs4g. I can build it for the i9000 with no problems...
You won't need a different kernel with this. It ports MIUI to your custom rom.
I will post another update when he gets back to me..
yeah... its been out for while i think... hopefully this will make it for a MIUI ROM on this phone too with official support and stuff
If there is anything I can do to help like test out Rome or something I will be glad to help I myself see me having this device for 2 years.

The i9000 and sgs4g are completely different...try the epic 4g thats probly the closest to our phone

Recently, temasek has started making his rom available for g2x. He did not want to make a thread, so he agreed to me making it for him. This rom is identical to his o2x rom, except compiled for the g2x.

The rom comes with stock cm kernel only. I'm not going into p999 kernels.

You don't have to flash owain's fix. It's been incorporated into cm7 already. Also Faux has a newer kernel out btw.

For the July 2011 and March 2012 BBs...I'm not sure if it's been updated yet since earlier BBs like the one for WIND users (I believe) will receive the static during calls (IF they haven't updated their BB)...

I would've posted in the development thread for CM7 but apparently, because I'm an XDA Noob, I don't get permission to post there...it doesn't make sense because every post I read tells me to say thank you. So let me just give my wholehearted endorsement as a virgin rooter and flasher, CM7 nightly builds for the Infuse is a great rom and runs beautifully so far. Sorry Admins!

MHL doesn't work, torch is flakey. I can't think of anything else.

A ton of groundwork was laid in the Cm7 days to make CM, MIUI & ports on the infuse what they are today!
If your gonna play with Cyanogenmod though, you might as well run the latest and greatest!
Just wondering .. are there any ETA's as to when we're going to get a working ICS/JB rom ? like the kernel source has been out for like 2 weeks now .. I thought every developer would be jumpinnn right on that .... Thoughts ?

Just go onto other forums pertaining to ICS/JB and I'm pretty sure you can find some of the current problems faced with ICS or JB running on our phones. Yes source has been out but that doesnt mean that the ROMs are gonna suddenly start working perfectly. Its still gonna take some time to get it working.
As for your ETA...
NEVER ask for an ETA from any developer because it is just pointless and impatient-like.
The ROM or update to a ROM will come when it comes and not a moment sooner so just be patient and wait like the rest of us. Asking for ETA's just puts devs under more pressure and pointless stress.
