Does anyone know of a CWM rooted HC3.2 8.6.5.9 US firmware that I can install on my stock rooted HC3.1 8.4.4.11 TF?
I searched and found the thread for 8.6.5.6, but was looking for the latest update.
Thanks,
Eric

Hello guys,
Since today I am owner of a german t-mobile xoom 3g.
I am now on 3.01 and could ota to 3.1
If I install the original Europe Rom, could I directly update to 3.2 or is this only possible with us firmware?

There's a brand new Universal Xoom Root method by one of our great Team Tiamat developers, solarnz, and if you are not rooted, it's supposed to work on all Xooms, no matter if wifi or 3G, or the country model. That would be a great place to start. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1242241
I managed to install the european stock Rom and OTA to 3.1 as 3.2 is only for us, as I read. Then I rooted it with your method .. working fine at all. Thank you.
Hey all,
I am currently running this rom here:
Xoom Zone 2.2.2
All is fine with no problems, however the market is in US.. a minor problem.
As the UK now has 3.2, whats the easiest way to get back to 3.2 and then re-root?
I have the 3.1 image from Motodev website - should i go this route then update to 3.2 the root again?
Or... Is there a way on the xoom to change my market to UK version? - That i guess would be the easiest option?
All help appreciated..
Cheers

By the way: .19 is not needed for root. Also latest version can be rooted with nachoroot.
Hi, I'm using a Galaxy tab 2 7.0 P3110. android version 4.1.1. I've already rooted it however i don't have CWM installed.
I would like to know how I can update it's version, but I would like to have a nandroid backup first.
So my first question is, how do I install CWM if my tab's already rooted?
2nd, how can I update its version?
Sorry for my noob questions. I already tried reading and searching for the answers here in XDA, but I'm still lost.
Thank you.

Download odin flashables and flash through odin link
Or best way is to download ClockworkMod from gplay and download cwm from there and it'll flash directly.
Download 4.2.2 or 4.1.2 version from here link
I suggest 4.1.2 caz u can swap ur device sdcard on this version for gaming, if u r not a gamer than 4.2.2 is the best!!
Best of luck.
Hello all,
I have an old VZN S3 with rooted stock kernel BMA2 (4.1.2). I was looking to update it something newer. Is there a easy way to go to 4.4.2 or higher and keep root? I am only interested in a stock ROM. Right now I have no backup software installed (CWM or TWRP). Any help to direct me to a step-by-step post would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
