i have a wildfire with android 2.2.1 and build no.2.25.720.1
do i have to downgrade it before rooting it by Unrevoked3?if yes then plz tel me how to downgrade..

you can install cyanogenmod which is android v 2.3.4 . you can get everything from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=701 , first root then install cyanogenmod rom

afaik gingerbread (2.3.x) cannot be rooted, only froyo (2.2.x)
