I finally managed to somehow get my device S-off today and flashed Android Revolution HD ROM. NOW this didn't happen for atleast 7 hours after installing Revolution HD but now none of the browsers are loading pages over 3G and WiFi networks while the market and speedtest.net app work though I can't seem to get anything to download from the market. Any clues as to what might be wrong?

When I'm on wifi my phone won't load any websites, the xda website won't load, neither will Google or any others. I knew there was a wifi problem with 5.1.8 so I waited for 5.1.9. Anyway can anyone tell Mike1986 about this problem because I don't have enough posts to ask him myself or better yet, could anyone give me a fix.

I went from 5.1.7 straight to 5.1.9 and i haven't had any problems yet. Have you tried deleting you connection and try re establishing your connect to your network

I am not sure what this problem is, but I've been running 5.1.8 since the day it was out, and even as I am typing this, and well, no wifi problems so far whatsoever.
There you go, it is supposed to be the wifi fix for AR 5.1.8
Wifi fix from AR 5.1.9
It looks like the only difference is the addition of this line in the file " system/etc/calibration "
rssi_offset=-20

I will have to say though, that I still have wifi issues despite implementing every fix I have found in these forums and trying multiple radios.
If I leave the phone on overnight, I always have to turn the wifi off and back on to get a connection, otherwise it seems to be connected but is not.
I also have terrible wifi reception. Sitting at the same spot in a cafe with my laptop and my phone shows a world of difference. I can pick up 6 AP's from my laptop but only see one on the phone.
Am running Cingular's OTA radio 26.06.06.30_M with HTC-RIL 2.2.0131HM
Thanks for the help everyone, the restart method solved it. Also is anyone having camera problems. When I record a video and play back it skips and its really starting to get annoying.

Asphalt successfully installs, but it can never finish downloading the additional required content. It says "no internet connection, retry?" Does this happen to anyone else? Is there a way to fix this?

Happened to me. However when you hit "retry" it starts where the download left off. Eventually it will happen. I'm actually playing right now.
I have tried that, but when I hit retry, it starts over from the beginning, and gets stuck at the same point.
If you have time, please could you upload the downlaoded files from a.bar_97.cnk onward? I just can't get mine to download.

I have 3 devices, the inspire (coredroid 8.1), a nook, and a xoom. Out of all 3, the inspire has the only issue connecting to netflix (currently 1.4.1)
It sometimes just keeps loading and loading the netflix screen. after backing out 3-5 times, I finally get the gray screen, and that's all I'll get. After backing out several times, I'll finally make it to the lists, where I at times episodes will fail to load....
so, how is Netflix behaving with you?
I'm running coredroid 8.1 and I'm not having any issues with netflix.

Having been using the One X for a week now (switched from a iPhone 3GS), and have been very pleased with it except for some hiccups here and there.
I am also having this trouble loading longer flash videos.
It would load out fine, but around the 3min mark, it would just freeze, and not load anything after that. I have tried it on wifi, lte, and 4g, all with the same problem (I can see that no data is being transmitted as well, even if I pause/unpause video). Also tried on the stock browser and Dolphin HD browser, and I'm still getting the same results. Anyone with any insights on this?

This might have something to do with the source, not the phone. Tried watching the same video with your computer? Rooting does not affect.

Hey guys, I have looked all over to find a solution but unless I am looking in the wrong place I am stuck. YouTube just will not play ony roms at all, I always have connection problems then the screen says retry. I used the official ics update and that worked fine, however I prefer custom roms I am on sabsa prime v8 at the moment.. thank you for raking the time to look. Ps could it be something to do with the Rom blocking ads if so how can I disable this feature.
