Hi, I have found mentioned on gsmhosting forum about new RUU for ChaCha phone.

but cannot find any download link, so I'm asking for help to anybody from here.

I think not if you have unbranded phone. But if you got phone from carrer, you will need to debrand first, and for do this, you will need to have s=off.
Right now still looking for this soft to download, and it is hard to find it...

This is not that. 1.25 is easy to find, and this is for Asia. We are looking 1.33.
Radio is that same, but we looking for whole firmware, becouse radio can be changed simply and is available here.
Any news from Rom 1.33?
I can not believe in the big Internet this file can not be found for download.

Hi, I have a UK ChaCha tied to T-Mobile. I want to wipe the phone entirely of all T-Mobile software and return it back to how it came from the factory so it will work on any UK network but specifically O2 for the time being.
I`ve been told to hunt down a "clean unbranded factory rom".
Is this available yet and if so how is it done?
Please could somebody also tell me what S=off or S=On means too.
I build PC`s occasionally so not entirely useless but this is all very new to me.
Any advise would be greatly appreciated.

If so (and you're S-ON), don't upgrade, you'll lose the gingerbreak root vulnerability.

There is an issue with the servers, you can download the radio from here

it is the fourth one from the bottom, just press Ctrl + F and search the radio number and it will take you straight to it

The one I mentioned earlier is the same as the ARHD recommended one. But you can use any one which suits you..

Im looking for a vodafone radio and RIL for firmware 3.32 - which is what my ROM ARHD is using, I was going to dissect it out of the above ROM and flash it onto mine
would a different radio from an older firmware version cause more problems ?

I have searched everywhere but can't find it at all. I would expect that there is at least 1 mirror out there, but I honestly can't find anything. Could someone please help me find the link?

I downloaded it myself, it's the WWE version. In the search boxes put 'Desire S' and 'v4.0'.

Oh holy...... I done it with Firefox and now its there, just realized, everytime I done it in chrome it was resetting the search. Sorry about that man, and thanks a bunch.

Yes. But the Official ICS was a bit rubbish. You'd be much better off installing a custom ROM to be honest.

OK, thanks, I might try rooting then, just didn't now any good ways of rooting on hboot 2.02.0002, so I might try downgrading to 0.98.0002, because I seen a good video on how to root and get s-off from 0.98.0002 hboot.
