It'll come in time, as has already been said in the NUMEROUS threads about the same damn thing.
It needs a *WORKING* aosp or cm7 build in order for them to start deving.

LOL...I heard tomorrow. Of course that is tomorrow as in the tomorrow after cm7 arrives since miui wont actually put any effort into supporting devices where the work has not already been done for them.

The G2 has been rooted (full)! Does this mean full root on Mytouch 4 Gizz? I believe they both had the same nan lock. I'm looking foward to custom roms and modifications, Sence Rom and cyanogen will make this phone much better. Any Devs working on the mytouch that I can follow?

Actually that's something I noticed too, all the work with modules, overlooking , etc. Has been for the G2 I may regret my decision to switch over to the mt4g I was spoiled with all the attention the g1 got.

Yeh that bums me I would really like to see a overclocked kernel on this baby. The phones processor is ready hella fast I hope cyanogen and other devs add support to this phone

The G2 has been out longer, and it was expected to get more attention then this one overall.
Hopefully the process will work on this one also after some developers here are guided by the G2 method (assuming it is a similar scheme on both devices).
Kmobs (teamdouch) ordered the phone last week. We'll be fine.
Update, he just posted in another thread here that he'll have it in a few hours
full root for our phone is out!

why hasnt anyone posted that there is already miui for sensation? modaco has had it for months
mind you it isnt straight from china, but its exactly the same, and has evolved since cm7 came out

The have, many time, but it's been deleted because the devs was banned from xda and has requested his work not be linked on xda.
Also, wait until CM7 source branch is opened, then we will more than likely get a direct miui build and not just some port (all current miui builds for sensation are technically frankenbuilds because only the few working on CM7 for sensation have working rom source for it).

no posted in it this thread, and the banhammer was very sudder, but alas, this is very true, but im a sense user anyway, so its kinda irrelevant to me not a fan of the iphone/galaxyS interface

Axtually the dev at modaco gave rights to tonyo to post a thread about it. Mods still teleted it

I already voted. Everyone should vote even if they dont use MIUI the more development the more options we have. Our sensation should get it right? With Htc 18 month support policy, we should get it. Furthermore, ours is dual core. I did not see any problem to upgrade OTA interm of hardware n software wise should be no problem. Only time will told..

Well this day came alot sooner than it did with my htc glacier, development is all but dead, I'm not chasing any more phone hardware upgrades, that's what's good about an HTC phone as long as spec wise you can push it you can always load up the latest android sense version or port... And you got cm7/aosp also with HTC phones but you'll find it Damn near impossible to load a sense Rom on a aosp phone, not really sure what I made this thread for just to say the grass ain't always greener on the other side, stick with the sensation it is truely an amazing phone... One more thing when does cm7 nightlies start?

Some devs have left, yes, but that's the nature of the beast. But that doesn't mean development is dead. It's slowed down a bit since there hasn't been any new leaks.

That's entirely up to whom ever wants to port it over or if it will be officially supported by the CM crew. They have been really good about supporting the MyTouch 4G for a long time now so I wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't an official release for us over here.

I would definitely love to see cm9. This phone has surprisingly lasted me since its release date. I'm switching over to the amaze but I can't forsee my self ever getting rid of this phone.

I've had the mytouch for over a year and it's been great, such an awesome phone and I would love to see it with cm9
Thats whats bothering me the phone has potential any rom any type of 3d acceleration it handles flawlessly sence roms cm roms miui roms all work without a problem. Dev-feb is already working on a ics rom tried it the phone handled it without a problem forget the bugs.
