Has anyone found a good quality armband that fits the Infuse?
http://www.cellphoneshop.net/i997armband.html
Has anyone actually used this armband that can give us a review? It's ugly as sin and looks like a cheap Chinese knockoff. Unfortunately, I have scoured the net and it's the only one I can find and there aren't any reviews to speak of.

Can't say I blame them. I still need one though and this seems to be the only thing I can find. But I need to make sure all the controls work ok with the armband. The Infuse seems to have some very sensitive controls. I barely hit a button and volume changes or the power off menu comes up, etc.
I really want a good armband if anyone sees anything else. I like running with my phone for music and the GPS app. Would be a shame to have to go without it.
That band looks like a piece of garbage. I am def interested in finding an armband for this phone too. Please let us know if you can find one and I'll do the same.

I have that armband. It's a super generic badly cut armband, but it barely fit my HD2. I have to recut the hole for the headphone slot, but it worked well enough at staying on my arm.
Cheap, ugly, but gets the job done. Just don't let anyone you know see you.
i have the Tune Belt, Inc. Model #AB83 it fits very snuggly and I really like it. I have worn it running and bike riding and it never slips and really seems well made.

i bought mine at Academy.
all i have with me is my phone or i would post a pic of my phone in the case, but ill post a pic of the case itself in just a min.

So i got this idea from one guy who put the 3M carbon fiber skin on EVO, But the problem was the curvy shape of my beloved Nexus. So I tried a few things and wasted some Vinyl but finally i bought Best skins ever skin for $8 and used it as a stencil and cut out the vinyl with my xacto. here are the pics. I liked it a lot so i thought i'll share with you guys.
That.....Looks.....AMAZING! Do tell....
Wanna give me the skin you didn't use? ;-)

Agreed, you've 'riced' up your phone.
i dont think its any more ricing up than putting on a case. isn't ricing up to give it some sort of performance enhancement that doesn't really enhance anything?
Well I know why some of you don't like it. as my wife does not like it too she also has a nexus and she likes the feel of 'naked phone' if i may say .
My only problem with cases is that if i use them then my desk-dock becomes useless. plus i dont like always to be super careful about keeping my phone anywhere and scratch it.
you know what, it looks pretty good but the only problem is the weave is too large. maybe get a smaller weave vinyl.
care to share the stencil?

FYI you guys can get overstock Carbon fiber sheets and m3 adhesive strips like used above from a guy named racingjeff on ebay. What this stuff is microthin carbonfiber with m3 adhesive on the back. They use it to make the CF dash boards in teh bling bling honda's you see on the road. I've deal with Jeff for years buying real overstock 3mm CF sheets. Guys a really good guy.
Personally I don't think it looks bad at all. I wouldn't do an entire phone in carbon fiber but it looks nice enough to me.
I'm going to cover my HD2 battery door using the same carbon fiber sheet. I'm also considering buying a couple of battery doors from ebay and experiment a little. I want to polish one battery door to a "mirrior finish" and I want to try painting one using Krylon just to see how it will come out.
I've painted all sorts of crap like Blackberry housings, golf clubs, furniture and I have the technique and prep work down to a science so we'll see how it goes and I'll make sure to post pics when complete.
I applaud dude for having the balls to experiment!

I like it but the CF grids are a little large. I would like a tighter patterns. Heres the guy I use. Granted its not going to be $8 because its real CF.

Email him and tell him what your planning to do, he's super cool and will send out samples and all his stuff is the real deal, not look alike CF.
Is there a ay you help me out, on how to make the vinyl go so nicely around the corners? specially on the curvy parts... ive tried b4 with other vinals, and i cant get it to go nice on the curves, i always get extra stuff
I stumbled on this http://cheapdroids.com/T-Mobile-G2-Monaco-Aluminum-Case-Black-Open-Screen-Design.html

From the picture it looks like a solid one-piece, but then how would you get the phone in there?
"The lock on the side holds the top and bottom of the case tightly together and prevents the case from accidentally opening"
It seems that it's some kind of lock, so that would mean it's openable, but don't hold me to that
*Edit*: http://cheapdroids.com/T-Mobile-G2-Monaco-Aluminum-Case-Silver-Open-Screen-Design.html
Thats the silver one, there you can see the long mechanism a bit better, so from the looks of it, you can still open it.
Ohh I didn't see that shot great gonna order one

Could you let us/me know how it is? It looks rather interesting
Definitely looking forward to an XDA member's review on this with better pics!
Once I get it pics and review will be up i really just want something easier to take on an off then the ones that tmobile has cause I use a case for work which is painting, and the tmobile cases felt like i would screw the phone up taking them on and off alot.
I am very interested in this case as well and will probably order. I found a different seller on eBay selling this case, link below. It includes more pictures as well.

Well a lot of people around here are looking for that. Something to lock the keyboard in place during normal day to day use. That way it isn't opening in your pocket and stuff like that.

I agree in theory you shouldn't have to need this case. But if you are like me, my phone hinge is loose and it feels wobbly to even text. So if this case can hold the goods together securely then it looks like its worth it.
Just ordered one. Let's see if its better then the otterbox.

Looks sturdy. The added bulk keeps me away though.
I agree, I am worried about the excess bulkiness. Looks like a brick! All my friends have iPhone 4's so I dont want to pull out something looking a decade old! However pics and youtube videos can be deceiving. The G2 is a beautiful phone and doesnt seem to show scratches easy. I too have the loose hinge and like I said in a previous post, scotch tape on the sides is the best answer!

Agreed. I always find myself buying cases for all of my devices. 2 weeks later i end up ditching them going back to naked. right now i just have the stealthguards full body protector on which is excellent even for 10$. I, for one, hate the g2's keyboard, however, its one of the best ones out thus far. (if that makes any sense)
Anybody who ordered this case received it yet? Ordered mine on the 17th and still hasn't arrived....

(you gotta add the www's to the front of the links, since I can't post links yet)
They have a suction cup one of these too that I meant to get for my Vibrant. I always looked in the cell section of stores like best buy when I was there, but never took the time to order from amazon. They get great reviews everywhere I looked.
I got an OEM one for the G2X and it works very well. I love that it has a sensor to put the phone into car mode automatically when docking. I know thats not new but after buying 3 flagship phones this is the first one that actually has this feature.
I guess the big advantage to the clingo is you can use it with a case.

This looks really cool too! I might pick it up for watching video at the poker table and as a bedside stand. I seriously doubt most people will be toting it around and reconfiguring it for each and every task throughout the day as their video suggests. Maybe I'm just not cool enough to own one yet, those people all looked pretty cool...
The Clingo stuff works really well actually. Leaves no sticky residue and if you start losing stick (after about 3 weeks), just use a lint free cloth and water to clean the surface and the sticky comes right back.
I only got rid of my Clingo for the one that mounts into your CD player slot.
there's a comment about the oona suction cup won't work well with the g2x because of the google strip on the back cover. anyone tried any type of suction cup with this phone before? i don't have one to try.

My friend just got a Galaxy SII 4G and has this great white case with a kickstand (you all know the brand, but I cant remember it...). The same case is one of the few I have found available for the Skyrocket and it's exactly the same, except it has no kickstand?! Which is the MAIN feature I need!
Surely there is an option out there? Some way to get a kickstand on the skyrocket? I love to watch Netflix in bed and use it as my main bedside clock/alarm But I have to stick it in the stand that came with my Novel tablet so it will stand up!
Please help! Whats the best solution? I really dont care if it charges the phone... I just need a stand and want it permanently attached if possible.
Thanks all!

Like I posted in the other section, the Seideo Active case has a kickstand. A similar version is sold at most BestBuys and can be bought on Ebay or Amazon as well. There are several reviews on that case already in the Accessories section.

That is a SLICK case indeed! I currently have the otterbox commuter It is a little big for my taste... The defender looks even bigger, but better! However, I would just lose the clip. I need something that stays attached. That case is SOO slick I just might get one anyway tho

That case looks like it keeps the phone vertical on the stand. The Seidio Active case has the phone horizontal which I think is better for video viewing. The active case is also well constructed. It adds slight bulk to the phone, but not too much. It also adds "grip" to the phone which is nice in a way but can make it difficult to put in in or out of your pocket or a carrying case.

Pretty interesting product. I like the fact that they seem to lay a little flatter than the FlyGrip. I'd definitely pick up the case with the sockets integrated into it but they don't seem to offer one for our phone.

I have it pretty much in the middle of the phone's back in the outside of my phone case which saved me from having to buy a new case since it also functions as a viewing stand! Neat little gadget for bigger devices and tiny hands

The girl who waited on me when I was buying my v10 was using one on her phone and really liked it.
I was tempted but since I already had my flygrip I decided to save the 14.99 (for a 2 pack in store)
If they had been selling 1 for $7 I probably would have bought it!
It's really the first time I've seen one of this type of product available in store vs online. It's about time!
Glad to hear it's working for you and that it's available with different options online.
Now I have another choice if I want something new!

I picked one up from Amazon while Christmas shopping. I had never heard of them before seeing this thread a few weeks ago.

No one has/had any issues with it detaching from the back of our wafflesque surface phones? I like the product and could see using it, but I'm looking for confirmation that it worked on a stock phone without a case.
Thanks in advance for replies.
I have used one on my phone without a case. It worked great. I took it off when I added a Spigen case and have been too lazy to put it back on. My wife is very small and she loves it on her Samsung S3 phone. And yes you can take them off and reuse them over and over. Nice invention.
