I can't seem to find a thread in here about it, so please excuse be if there are other threads dealing with the issue. How do I fix the HTC messaging time delay issue. I know there is a fix. Just not where. Thanks in advance

Not had it in my sensation. Happened on my Wildfire though.

I have this weird problem, whenever i text with friends, if i respond back within a minute and the time is the same, then my message will go above my friends message. But if i message back like 1 minute later then it goes below. So i only have the problem if i manage to message back within a minute and before the clock change.
Anyone else have the problem? I allready updated my phone to newest.
And after i did update my phone (did it through the post in the forum here) it wiped my phone complete, so i guess making another reset wont work maybe.

My friend told me he had the error too on his HTC Hero when he used that.
So i guess it's either a Android or Sense problem. But i'm not sure what to do to fix it, if it's even possible lol.
I also read that sometimes the SGS1 would do that too, but there was no fix that I saw for it. It had something to do with the way the phone time-stamped the messages...
It is "inconvenient" but is it really a big deal? they are just messages after all...
Well no it's not that big a deal, since i have had it for some time now. But it can be annoying sometimes.

Actually its a bug inside of certain Android versions:

Neither of those threads have anything to do with the OP, bowers131.
Both of those threads have to do with the weird occurrences of SMS messages being randomly sent to other people, nothing to do with the placement (chronologically) of the posts which are in fact going to the correct person.
I also have it and had it with multiple phones also on wm phone:-o

Mine definitely does this. I was thinking it might be related to me having a huge number of messages from one person in particular. Are most of you experiencing this working with a large number of messages.?

Have you tried SMS Timestamp Fix from market? It usually fixes it, since it's usually a sense issue, been going on like that since the HD2 WinMo. And some desire builds I've used.

No worries. I was thinking maybe you meant that fr someone else of a different thread. I know I've done that when I open multiple tabs and threads at the same time...
i used to have that problem but i missed around with the date and time to automatic and it fixed dont know if it will help you guys

Sorry if this was already posted but I didn't see anything on it. I just got my sensation last night and updated it right away. Today after I send a text sometimes it will randomly put words from the last message I sent in the text box and leave it as a draft when I reopen my messages. I text alot and it seems to be happening more often. Have anyone else experienced this?
nobody is experiencing this? I've even master reset and the issue continues.
I can not answer it. We asian version still did not get the update to 2.3.4 :'(

I'm having problem with this phone. The phone will restart constantly especially during calls, which becomes extremely annoying. Anyone know a fix or a reason why this is happening?

Sorry then.
Not much that I can suggest,because you cannot get "under the hood" as it were ,without root.
I would be dubious about rooting the phone or anything,if it's not working properly out of the box.
You might consider sending it back.

then i would suggest sending it back to HTC centre for an exchange
When you say restarting, is it just stopping everything and showing the HTC screen before loading sense again? If so, it's because the phone doesn't have enough memory. Delete some apps, and if that still doesn't help, download a different launcher from the market.
I never had any restarting issues, but in the past three days the phone has restarted itself (completely restarted, not just the lag getting back to the home screen) randomly at least six times that I know of.
Other than the Amazon App Store, I'm not aware of any software updates that I've downloaded or installed in the last week. Anyone else have this issue just crop up in the past couple of days?
Mine has randomly restarted while it was in my pocket, and twice as I moved the unlock ring to the middle of the screen to use the phone.
Edited to add: I'm running a stock phone from T-Mobile with Android 2.3.4.

Mine does also after a few days of uptime. A restart fixes it for another few days.

Mine are not working properly, can't get any readings from them. Hardware is fine, checked the chipsets myself. I tried some fixes from others but nothing works correctly. I even ran the HTC RUU of ICS (From EU) and supposedly reset the phone back to 100% default....same ****. Something in the 3.32 firmware is killing the sensors and its happening with TONS of people I know on here EU and US also.
I regret unlocking the phone now :-(

One question, have you ever dropped your phone? If no... I would take it back and show them. It could be the sensor that is goofed.

I don't think there is any damage to the phone although I cannot be certain
I actually have 10 of these. It only happens on a couple. It seems to be a software related issue not hardware. The only sure fire way of stopping it is to go into airplane mode? Which of course renders the phone useless.
If you google HTC one s screen issue you will see there are many people having the same problem.
