[SoOn] Popular Taskbar Set You all have been waiting for.

Hi, I have decided to share my work to the members on XDA. I'm sorry for not sharing with you guys in the first place so I take that back. All my work is completely customized and made by me. There are thousands of you who are really interested in my taskbars and in my themes and I would like to share them with you. But please expect some delays as I'm only doings this because I want to and this website is all about sharing.

These all look really great.
I'm interested in more than one of them, so hopefully they are on the fast track to being completely operational for WM6.5!
I've been trying to find a task bar theme that does not use such lame-ass, original, and bland icons for SMS, Headset, etc.

What do you need help with? The task bars look pretty complete to me. I also wouldn't mind having it. I do slider icons and clock work but I have yet to actually play with the taskbar icons myself.

There are some bugs that need to get fixed like some icons don't show up, etc..

So what's happening with them ? Are the not applying from the start or do they apply then revert?

I feel humiliated I put so much work into making a taskbar with some of your icons and now you decide to share them. . . . . . . .

There had been alot of rumors they where only photoshopped, nice to see them in production

The only icons that are not applying are the 3g icon, the edge icon and the gprs icon

Yeah, it was better for me to let them think that the taskbars has been photoshopped, that way they wouldn't bother asking me to share but now I changed my mind and I'm going to prove them wrong

zip all the dll's and icons and I'll have a look at what's wrong.

I'll believe these taskbar icons are real when they are available for download.
Lots of those images in the 1st post are blatantly photoshopped imo.

Yes, you just can't get such good contrast on the icons like that.. Also the image below clearly shows photoshop because you can't get the icon to go all the way down to the bottom of the taskbar (to the grey line) in WM6.5 (WM6.5.3 you can).

Changing weather icons under clock.

Hi xda members,
I've searched over 250 topics but i can't find any answer to my question.
I'm looking for a cartoon type weather animation set to change the ones under the clock. I've seen in a topic months ago. If it's not exist anymore then it doesn't have to be cartoon type, any other type can be enough.
I'm waiting for your answer.

Do you mean the weather icons with the alien and/or umbrella?
Those are made by Antoniomistretta
If you want some other, you could look at the Fallout theme, made by star and horrorview (teamed up as "starview").
But if you want some really nice ones, just keep an eye on the Buuf theme we're currently working on

The first file is Antonio Blue umbrella. (they only show up if it is "raining")
The second file is cartoon weather notifactions.
The third file has air plane, and UFO's. (I changed the name on Marciano's file to help me remember what it was)

wolfie, "LuESolCartoons_sense2.5." also seems good but i don't like the clouds. Thanks anyway.

Just a thought for you.
While there are a few out there I *don't think* there are too many. You might consider collecting the images your self and making your own, or asking for help in creating your images into something usable.
The developers/artists here top notch, and all around good people. If you have what you want, and ask. Most likely someone will help you.

It will be great if i can do it myself.. I can prepare the images but i don't know how to make a .cab or how to find which system files to change..

CHT 2.0 WIDGET - Oxygene Analogue Clock

OK, so I am also running Android on my HD2 and have been knocked out by some of the layouts the guys in the Android threads have been coming up with. So I figured that now that Co0kie has opened up our home tabs to such amazingly versatile customisation it was about time that we brought some of that style to CHT! A couple of days ago I came across THIS on ClassicalGas's blog and just loved it so I thought I'd have a go at replicating the clock as a CHT widget, and here it is:

It is semi-transparent as you can see and works best on a black or dark background. The outer ring is the minute indicator, the inner the hours and the small dot the second hand. Again there is a widget specific font which in this instance is SonySketch which I found on dafont.com HERE.
The dock came from vide infra over in the Evo forum HERE which I edited, and the softkeys based on the periodic table are all mine. I have also made a partial set of CHT toggles to go with this theme too. If anyone wants the dock/icons/toggles just ask and I'll add them in here along with photoshop templates so you can extend the sets if you want to.

Dunc your stuff is amazing. Not only minimalistic and easy on the eye but also high quality if stretched to the max (for us perfectionists) I'd love your other designs like the toggles and more?

did you do the basic triage stuff - uninstall completely. reboot. reinstall?
if so then...dunc, could it be 3953C628_manila (well at least with Poyensa's typoclock this bg image randomly came on).

what energy rom? what manila are you using? (and you installed it while sense was disabled? i have had issues with things when sense is still on....)

[CHT2] The Ultimate Geek Redesign [UPD: DEC 10]

Introduction
Ok, so some of you may have seen my first clocks I've every made - know as the geek clocks. I would like to explain myself then continue this beautiful idea I have.
As many of you know, as soon as you take out your HD2 people awe over it's size but always end up asking - is that an iPhone? Then a conversation opens, and they say - so why wouldn't you just get an iPhone? Valid question for people who don't actually know how to use a cellphone. But we then show them how much better our cell really is. But truthfully, no one cares about specs - they care about looks. It's like at a bar: you don't go over to the nicest girl, you go over to the hottest girl.
So therefore, I would like to introduce to you the new Ultimate Geek Redesign! The idea is to have a funny, geeky, spiffy way to show off our cellphones just from our homescreen. I call this a redesign and not a theme is because I plan on making it a continual work in progress, as well as having multiple clocks/locks/softkeys/etc. so you can pick whatever you want without me picking your theme for you.
I am currently a beginner at all this jazz and the only thing I know how to use is photoshop. My cabs probably aren't made perfectly (although they work - I proved that on my cell) and I don't understand the coding at all... although I am currently trying to learn. Although, now that I think about it, that means my stuff's probably better for you - you know, "beginner's luck"
I will be constantly adding widgets to here (I've been working for 2 days and see how far I've gone already) so check back often.
If you have any ideas to build on what I have or new designing projects, or can help me with the programming bit, please pm me or reply to me here!

Just as a quick guess, it's because you don't have the CHT lockscreen set or it's not set to windows style... in any case after you install you have to restart sense - but I actually currently have it installed on mine so it is possible - I would put up a screen shot but I feel like that might be a waste of room
In any case check your settings then get back to me

To tell you the truth - I have no idea... but if you want I can give you the png files and you can somehow stick them in yourself lol or you can just try it and see what happens... I don't totally understand the coding stuff just the photoshop

It's been a while since I've seen farscape (last time was in highschool) so my knowledge of it is small at best, but I did like it. Maybe I can give some a go if we get some concrete ideas going.

Hey mrhayami! Yeah I was 19 when the came out. Am 30 now, but have been watching Farscape via netflix. Anyway, I was thinking maybe using the Moya communicator thing as maybe a sms widgit or analog clock. Some kind of wait cursor or any ideas you may have. Nordpolcamper has already made a few things for me. I also have a Farscape font but dont know hot to cab it up so the whole phone is Farscape font. Anyway, any ideas you may would be great!

Hi everyone! I really hope someone can help. I have this Farscape font that I would like to use to change the font of the whole phone. I have seen threads on how to do it but I can honestly say I dont fully understand how to do it , nor do I have the programs to do so. I really hope someone knows how and doesnt mind cabbing it up for me.

I've created a clock out of the picture posted above in post #6.
With a couple of suggestions from darkwolfelite, I've made the hour/minute hands into Qualta Blades and it's now ready for release (cab file attached).
If you have any suggestions/criticisms, please feel free to do so - this is my first clock and first mod of any kind so all comments are welcome!

@ darkwolfelite, in response to the points you mentioned yesterday.
Ive got all the fonts within sense changed + 80% of the default Winmo menus.
The "Start" text is controlled by a .dll which is not something Ive ever tinkered with and can be notoriously difficult to get working.
Im working on getting the WM softkeys to appear in the farscape font.
The best part is......... the cab is uninstalling so no need for a hard reset.
Im gonna have a few more attempts at acheiving "total coverage"......

Ok, this is what Ive got so far. Softkeys arent happening and I dont know why. Still looking for the right reg entry I guess.
Quite a lot of the phone is covered, all sense menus, many wm menus, some apps.
The downside, the font is quite small and some things can be difficult to read.
Its possible to adjust font sizes using a registry editor.
Go to the root of the registry and search for "font".
Flick through all instances looking for entries relating to font size and adjust as required.
Cab attached. Will continue looking into this in the quest for "total coverage"....

Hey conantroutman thanks for everything you are doing! I appreciate it alot! As far as the font being to small, I have the sk tools so I think I can change the font size with it.
And as far as the "start" word I was wondering if cabs can be broken down in reverse to like see whats in it and maybe how it was done? I don't know if that's possible but if so I have a Lucidia handwriting cab from I think sarcy (Major_Sarcasm) that I know changes the "start" but can't remember if it did WM softkeys. Either way I really like the cab and am looking forward to the "Total Coverage" but am very happy with what you've done!

Post that cab and ill have a look inside. I know how to do the start button in theory but I've never actually done it.
I think the soft keys are just a matter of searching for the right reg entries.

I think the soft keys are just a matter of searching for the right reg entries.

No problem! Side note, SK Tools didn't change the font size in Sense, but its ok I will try the Reg edit thing you mentioned.

Right, so I've been working on this clock today and I think it's gone pretty well.
The clock face is Moya and the hour/minute hands are Peacekeeper Prowlers - the only thing is the hands are rather dark against Moya.

Nice clock Bunglechunk! I LIKE it! I agree with the hands being dark and also noticed the minute hand might not be connected. I will post a pic! Either way everything keeps getting better and better.
