here is where i post taskbars/rosie edits/and soon full themes that i make you can also request theme here
do a nandroid backup before applying these

what rom are you running? it looks like AOSP 1.6 with rosie. or how did you get the app icons?

I would have started doing nav bars by themselves but started working on full themes.
Here's a quick sample. It'll prob be released with flipz's next kitchen, so all parts will be available seperately as well.

Thats beautiful widgets small home widget.

Yes its beautiful widgets small home. The icons was anotherr thread sorry. All u have to do is go to the market and buy bettercuts($1.99) then the android 2.0 icon pack(free). The bettercuts app lets u use whatever icon pack u want tio use its pretty cool!!
p.s. just type icons in search in the market there are TONS of different icons u can get BUT U HAVE TO get bettercuts to be able to change them. And it will only change the icons on the home screens not when u click all programs

I have attempted to flash both of these over fresh 1.1 through recovery as well as through fresh's pre-kitchen and I get stuck @ boot every time. Neither of them will take at all for me. Ideas?

same here, just never turned out right, some icons would change and some would not? it's cool ill play with it another time. i actually don't mind the default taskbar.

ive flashed this taskbar and for some reason my signal icon did not change. its still the standard bars with a black background. what gives?

[MOD] Semi-Transparent App Drawer / Shortcuts Background

This is another change I ended up with by accident, when working on the text-less icons for the app drawer. This is based off of Fresh 2.1.2, but should work with any Sprint based 2.1 ROM.
I originally discarded it, but thought it might be cool to, in addition to changing the color of the app drawer & add shortcuts background from solid black to some other color (gray in this mod), to also make the background semi-transparent, so that your wallpaper shows through, and this is the end product.

I like it because it is different - what Roms will it run on?

This should work on most Sprint-based ROMs.
It is really starting to grow on me. Here's an example using a photo type wallpaper background where you get a better sense for the "transparent factor".
It is something, I think, that looks better in real-life, as opposed to screen captures. I'll probably post a MetaMorph tomorrow.

I know this is off-topic, but how did you get the inverted notification bar? I've searched everywhere for a flashable update/MM for it.

It's right under your nose. Check the link in my sig, lol.

First post has been updated with MetaMorph control files for applying this change.
It has really grown on me and I am liking it very much. It is not too dissimilar to the semi-transparent notification menu we've grown accustomed to. Give it a shot and let me know what you think.
As mentioned above, I think it looks really nice when you have a photo style wallpaper.

Added this Mod!!! I have been looking for a transparent app background for a while. You also went the extra distance and did the same thing to the shortcuts background. Just wanted to say thank you for this and it worked for fresh 2.0d. The only thing that I had to do is re-add all the widgets on my screen after the update. Thanks man keep the updates coming!

And here are a couple wallpapers done with the overlay. Don't mind the right edge of some, it won't show up when you set it. Make sure you disable wallpaper scrolling with LauncherPro and set it to 5 icon rows.

Now, to set this up, you will need Desktop Visualizer, Smart Shortcuts (if you want the "folder" popups when you click the page name), and LauncherProPlus to resize the big icons unless you use a smaller size which might not look as good. Use DV to set the shortcuts as widgets. All of them are sized 2x1 except the big one. Set the big one first otherwise you won't have room in the end before resizing.
Edit: Forgot to post the dock earlier. It's a slightly modified version of the Weiss dock.

I will do doing some different colors, and taking requests for icons although I did include a .psd template for those who can do their own. It does take some time to do so feel free to donate. Others have already offered.

When setting the shortcut action with DV, click on other, scroll to Smart Shortcuts, then pick which group you want to pop up.

Is there any way to get some more detail about set up? I've never used some of these apps. Sorry for being so new to this.

Oooh sorry, you have to set it to 5 icon rows in the advanced settings.

This would be really cool in light pink. I would definitely be willing to donate for one.

CHT 2.0 WIDGET - Oxygene Analogue Clock

OK, so I am also running Android on my HD2 and have been knocked out by some of the layouts the guys in the Android threads have been coming up with. So I figured that now that Co0kie has opened up our home tabs to such amazingly versatile customisation it was about time that we brought some of that style to CHT! A couple of days ago I came across THIS on ClassicalGas's blog and just loved it so I thought I'd have a go at replicating the clock as a CHT widget, and here it is:

It is semi-transparent as you can see and works best on a black or dark background. The outer ring is the minute indicator, the inner the hours and the small dot the second hand. Again there is a widget specific font which in this instance is SonySketch which I found on dafont.com HERE.
The dock came from vide infra over in the Evo forum HERE which I edited, and the softkeys based on the periodic table are all mine. I have also made a partial set of CHT toggles to go with this theme too. If anyone wants the dock/icons/toggles just ask and I'll add them in here along with photoshop templates so you can extend the sets if you want to.

Dunc your stuff is amazing. Not only minimalistic and easy on the eye but also high quality if stretched to the max (for us perfectionists) I'd love your other designs like the toggles and more?

did you do the basic triage stuff - uninstall completely. reboot. reinstall?
if so then...dunc, could it be 3953C628_manila (well at least with Poyensa's typoclock this bg image randomly came on).

works great for me with energy (2019):
for those with troubles- try uninstalling. disable sense. reinstall. reboot. enable sense.

what energy rom? what manila are you using? (and you installed it while sense was disabled? i have had issues with things when sense is still on....)

Concept Design [Discontinued]

Hello Guys and Gals...
I have always wanted to have my phone UI as clean and simple as possible and because I felt the need for it..I have a design idea in mind.
NOTE: I am not a skinner and have never skinned any Windows Mobile App before.
If anyone would like this design to be implemented please let me know. For we might be able to make it possible.

The lock slider shouldnt be a problem. If you work with the Manila slider that can easily be taken care of. The Clock would be very simple to get ready too, because there are so many digital clocks out here that you might just need to change the font.
If I am not wrong, BeO had a weather widget like that, so that would be covered too.
The notification icons could be tricky, but you could just make the text part a part of your wallpaper and then you would have everything

For the clock I would recommend you take a look into BeOs thread or ask poyensa for help, because if you cant find a clock that exactly looks like that, you or whoever you can find needs to mod the mode9 files of the typoclock. yep it looks very POSSIBLE.
the notifications being text like that looks like the hardest and not done as of yet. as far as that weather I have seen MrBeO post a screenshot like that or very similiar. may have been a mock i dont know. shoot him a pm or post in his thread hes good about getting back to people.
that clock would be cool if it had SimClock capabilities ie; the links,comm stuffs, background etc.
definately looks good and interesting.

EDIT: I switched permanently to Android !! seems like wont be working on this !! Sorry....
