hello, i have an hd7 and i installed mango beta 2 which is friggin amazing but one thing i noticed is that sometimes when i use multitouch in the browser, the gestures get unresponsive to multitouch and the zoom goes crazy zooming in and out. seems like a driver issue with the sensors since this is not a specific build for the hd7 rite? is anyone having this issue?

I was wondering. I am an ex-Tytn II owner and I was aggrevated on how slow the phone was.
Is the HTC Touch Pro much faster now? Like Touch Flo is it similar to speed as the IPhone?
I am worried about getting the HTC Touch Pro to find out its slow/sluggish.

With the newer ROMs and tweaks, it's very fast. There's no huge lag like when it first came out, you'll be happy with it.
I would say the speed is much improved but not what it should be. I would say it is comparable to my Iphone 3G 90% of the time.
I have to ask myself... currently I use SPB Mobile Shell and I love the Dial Tab, which offers two-touch dialing of eleven most-used contacts. Is the contacts system in TouchFlo3D at all as convenient and quick?
Thanks.

Is it only in certain applications that this 10% lag occurs?
Actually is there a video showing the phone in action with the updated Rom? i saw the video by wired and it looks sluggish in that video. thats not with the newest rom is it?
Hi, I note (and it is being projected as such too) that Touch Flo responsiveness is better on D2 or TP2 compared to HD. The HD is sluggish to respond to the finger while scrolling between the apps. This isn't that 5 sec lag/freeze issue which was corrected with the newer official ROM. But general sluggishness or jerky behavior when you scroll apps. I wanted to ask, is that a hardware or design thing that they took care of on the 2's or can the HD also resolve the issue by some custom ROM upgradation?
Would highly appreciate your help/info..
you can resolve the issue on HD with a custom rom upgrade!!
Thanks so much Kristaps for the quick reply. I'm new here, so don't know how to get to a suitable ROM fast. I'm buying the HD, as the responsiveness issue was the only thing holding me back from it.
Could you plz point me to a stable ROM thats nearest that of TP2, with the newer version of TF3d and opera and push int.net and the whole people-centric contacts module thing? Also, does the landscape orientation work exactly the same way for all apps as it does for the 2's? I understand it was limited to certain apps only on the official HD ROM. I also heard there was a simulation of the zoom bar over the flush hardware buttons of the HD, any info on that? If all of this is given, then i'd go for the HD any day..
I realize thats a plethora of questions, thanks for help on these. I can't seem to get to this info on this forum on my own
try Dutty or Laurentius.
You'll not be disappointed.
Does anyone know if the camera app from the TP2 will work on the Fuze? Since I've read the two devices share the same camera, I was hoping the Fuze might be capable of recording video at VGA resolution. Has anyone tested it?
I don't know if it would be compatible without some tweaking to it, since it has onscreen controls, especially since the TP2 is missing the hardware buttons. I'd like to see someone port it though, the ability to touch where you want to focus is really nice.
i briefly looked for a touch pro 2 camera app and couldn't find one extracted.
I wonder if the one from the HD doesn't work.
I thought I had the cab somewhere.
Hello, I want to change my HD2 for Android phone with qwerty kb.
Does milestone 2 works smooth with andriod ? on some video reviews i saw that it crash a bit and works slow while changing pages or sliding in menu.. is it fixed?
I also want ventriloid to work cuz on hd2 i cant talk.
Please tell me all things i should know about milestone 2, maybe there is something i should know, if its works good, and minus of the phone etc..
and 2nd question - how can i make new topics on xda application for andriod?
My cousin recently sent me an old Android Nextbook 8 Premium which she'd never even turned on.
It's horrendously slow and the screen is out of touch calibration.
It was a struggle just to get FireFox on it.
Is it possible to root it, and if so, would that alleviate any of the problems?
Is this thing worth bothering with? My only intended use for it is to interface with my Wemacro macrophotography focus stacking rail as a backup to my Zenpad.
