Stock GB BootAnimation Delete (zip) - XPERIA X10 Themes and Apps

Hi ! I was made my rom on 2.3.3 official. When I wanna to delete the bootanim to faster start up, it comes back to official ( ANDROID LOADING BOOTANIMATION ) [ SILVER TEXT ON BLACK ] . Then i took official 2.1 B.anim and make it so, that when shows up sony ericsson logo after boot up, then about 3 second after phone starts. Its a great exit for peoples who like fast start up.
Instruction :
1. Open Root Explorer and Mount as R/W ( Read/Write )
2. Select bootanimation.zip from attatchment and select copy
3. Move this and overwite with second animation in : system/media
4. Reboot and look how fast the phone will start up.

thanks, i need this

Remember ! U must unpack the zip file first, bcoz in is the bootanimation.zip for repleacing.

Thank you. I used it in my stock rom, and it works fine.

If someone have issues like 30 second black screen , wait to boot and enable bravia engine.

Anyone tired this on Wolfbreaks 3.9 rom? I am to scared to try. Lol.

Worked
Sent from my X10i using XDA Premium App

Chriskwan. I Tried and.it work.
Sent from my own maded GB X10.

It works because it doesn't find any file in bootanimation.zip, you packed it as a subfolder You don't need a 2MB file in there.
I made a smaller package to be installed with xRecovery, could be useful for people who update roms often.

I know, but i had no time and i made it fast in 5 minutes so, upload ur package too
Sent from my own maded GB X10.

Hey u told that u r a Devloper.
Why dont u make custom gb rom for HD gaming and post on xda on devlopnment section??
And ur blog is removed is that coming back??

J maded gb for games, later i release it maybe
Sent from my own maded GB X10.

Edit. No release. Not time lot of job problems , and blog will be unlocked tonmorow

Rather than flashing this zip, can I just delete the bootanimation zip in system/media?

It will not work and back to stock bootanimation, but only on 2.3.3 from se,wb and all others based on official. U can to disable it in build.prop

i've tryed to find the bootanimation line in build.prop without sucess on wolfbreak v4.0.3
Also, replacing the bootanimation.zip in system/media for the one at the OP showed me the stock android boot animation instead.

MIX ROM (Best of both world) - Thanks To T & Z - [Upd 11.02.05 fix HW Led]

Zdzihu has delivered a near perfect Froyo (only video cam remain outstanding) which is extremely stable
TripNRaver has delivered Cyanogen 6.1 which is very cool with the cyanogenmod but still has some issues such as move to SD and flashlight.
I like cyanogen mod but I also like the stability of z's free x10. Since both are based on Froyo, I thought of combining them to create a perfect rom. And it works !!!
What I did:
1. Unzip Trip's cyanogen to a folder (let's say c:\cyanogen)
2. Unzip Z's beta3 to another folder (let's say c:\freex10)
In each folder you should have a META-INF and system folder
3. copy the services.jar from the link below (download and rename) to c:\cyanogen\system\framework (this will enable the flashlight)
http://www.mediafire.com/?67jb2mowad2z23p
4. copy the framework-res.apk from the link below to c:\cyanogen\system\framework (this will enable HW Led) - Thanks to fonz2544 for the tip.
http://www.multiupload.com/E1DFZKTFXG
note: Should work for both beta3 & 4. The trade-off is that you lose the auto-brightness option in the display settings.
5. copy the following folders from c:\freex10\system to c:\cyanogen\system
- bin
- etc
- lib
you may also want to copy the Froyo's Camera.apk to c:\cyanogen\system\app (rename 1 of them if you want both)
6. zip the c:\cyanogen folder (you should do it inside c:\cyanogen).
Any zip application should do.
For me I use windows (select all files under c:\cyanogen, right click, send to compressed (zip) file)
7. copy this zip file to sdcard
8. install via xRecovery
9. Install free x10 gapps and free x10 beta3 hotfix 1. Reboot
10. system will reboot twice and after that it'll be fine (if not you should crash system server at least once)
What is working - same as free x10 beta 3
You have cyanogen mod now and can easily do a dark theme and change the clock color etc
Notes:
------
1. Please do a backup before you try. I'm not responsible if any thing happens to your phone.
2. I have tried everything and they worked just fine. But I can't guarantee it'll work for you.
3. All credits go to T & Z. I hope I don't offend them. I just want to share with you my findings so more of you can enjoy it.
4. This just shows that their combined work is awesome
If you find this useful. Press the Thanks button

Restore it, via SEUS if bootloader is locked. If it's unlocked flash a system.img from the development section (if you flash a system.img that's based on the stock rom (nearly everythinh besides the cyanogenmod rom) you won't lose userdata).

Yer I reflashed it straight away and have got back to the same point just trying to work out what stopped it working, I'll try and get the theme on again and see if it works if it doesn't then it must be the theme that's breaking it!
EDIT: Just done the same thing as above and its crashed my phone again - none of my apps will load and everything force closes as soon as I launch it! I've only changed a couple of other things, but I reset my phone after making the last change and before adding the theme. It must be one of the steps in the theme that is messing it up. Stage 4 is always the one that seems to make things go wrong - could that make my phone crash?

[request]stock gb theme

With all the themes we have now it's easy for our phones to become a mess...

You can do this yourself. Just download the deodexed stock XXKPH files from this thread and copy the required apps to phone using any root explorer.

Please post such requests in Q and A section.
For return to stock theme u must backup whole system folder as a backup for safety. Because theme contains modified files which replaces files only from system folder.
Whenever u will open any theme u will always see two main folder name as META-INF and system folder. META-INF is folder is very important to flash the theme in phone.
Suppose u flashed u clear glass sl theme and after sometime u want to return to stock theme here is procedure.
1. Always take a backup of ur original whole system folder before flashing theme.
2. Take a copy of any theme such as clear glass sl theme on computer.
3. open that theme using any zip software.
4. Now delete the system folder from that theme. Never delete META-INF folder from that.
5. Now copy ur original whole system folder in place of deleted system folder.
6. Thats it. The new zip theme file will contain whole stock files.
7. Go into recovery and flash it. You will get ur original look.

Just download deodexed XXKPH system files from here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1191911
Click on "Download Deodexed System Files [COMPLETE XXKPH]" and you will download a file "xUltimate Deodex XXKPH.rar" which contains all deodexed system folders /app and /framework.
Yeah, I need this too to get my UI themes & APKs back to normal UI since I have usually flashed / changed my stock xxkph with some different themes....
I tryed copy all those files in the framework and app folder but it doesn't work... the phone looks normal but it then hangs random reboot and stuff like that.. I did a factory reset and... the theme I installed came back from nothing!
My usb is broken and I cant reflash so I'm pretty screwed without a stock theme to flash back

Change bootanimation on ICS?

Is there any way to change boot animation on Samsung Galaxy R ICS 4.0.4? I tried something i found here on forum and now i dont have any boot animation and i wanted a ICS stock animation :crying:
Not stock ICS, but this is greatest boot animation I saw so far, and SGS3 shut down animation, so first U must be rooted to do this or any system modification...
Those are just files in .rar archive, so not for flashing with CWM or something similar. Just decompress-copy-paste files in their respectiv system folders.
First unpack, now Boot archive contains two files and you should place them in SYSTEM/MEDIA folder, second one is shut down animation and place this file in
SYSTEM/MEDIA/VIDEO/SHUTDOWN folder, use root explorer (paid but great), or solid explorer (free) or any other explorer with root permissions :victory:
Liked the shut down animation very much.
Is there any other boot animation available?
I'm already having the boot animation provided here as i'm in Neo Rom v3. Need a change

Procedure for changing Bootanimation in any ROM
Hi Friends,
Below is the procedure for changing the Boot animation in any ICS ROM. But it has one limitation. You have to be in the below attached ardatdat 4.1 kernel to have the Boot animation working. Thanks to wanamsmile
Make a backup of bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg from /system/media and remove them
Now make a backup of samsungani and bootanimation from /system/bin
Download the attached samsungani and bootanimation (Unzip the package) and paste it into /system/bin. It will overwrite the existing files
You can get any of the custom bootanimation file. The name shud be bootanimation.zip. One custom bootanimation file is given here
Place the file in /system/media
Download the attached ardatdat 4.1 (modified) and place it in ur sdcard
Reboot to CWM and flash the kernel
Reboot the mobile. Now u will have new custom bootanimation
Is it possible to do it with ardatdat's 4.2 b6 kernel?
