hello everyone, i have a problem about gtalk from xoom. i have a xoom 32G wifi and system version is honeycomb 3.2 and rooted，the ROM what i installed is basic on Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.1. But no gtalk and mail,and i find and install Gmail apk,it works well. but i dont find gtalk apk.so does anyone could send me gtalk.apk for 3.2 thanks so much!

Have a problem with Installing skype on motorola defy with android 2.1 stock
Downloads skype 1.0.0.831 from android market and installs it without problem but it wont sign in, anyone hass the same problem? how did you fixed it

apparently it's not compatible on 2.1 on all phones. lots of people are complaining about that on the comments.
with Froyo 2.2 or Gingerbread 2.3, it works nicely.

Just updated the defy from 2.31 to 2.51 hoped it would work bur no.... the same sh..... what a shame i will have to wait to june when 2.2 for defy is out and still furstrating why on some defys skype from market works.....i wont slleep till i find why this whole thing really drives me crazy

Try using an older version of Skype, im sure it did used to work on my Milestone when it was on 2.1

I have done this update to G-Harmony Gingerbread 2.3.4, works well so far
But after doing the ROM, then the GAPPS I have no market icon, dont see anyway to install it
Any help would be great and sorry if this is silly or dumb but i just cant seem to figure it out

o used gapps-gb-20110307-signed, then after connecting to wifi the market appeared in my apps.

after flashing the [ROM] Team Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.1 Hammerhead the game Star Blitz is shown as "not compatible".
When flashing my Xoom back to the Motorola Original (Android 3.01) it works.
I've read some threads about the build.prop which content is relevant to the market whats shown. Does somebody know what is needed to trick the market and install this game with the 2.1 hammerhead rom?
Is there any other solution to get the game working? I searched the web for a direct download of the .apk without success.

could you resolve this issue. because i have the same problem with the latest tiamat rom...
There is no issue to resolve via the developer. It's probably not working due to region settings.
this is an issue since with the stock rom its working.

This was one of the additions made in Android 2.3.4 so I'm afraid you'd need that for it to work.
As an alternative for video calling, Fring has worked very well for me, even on 3G.
I'm also interested. My brother has the desire s with no root. (i have a gs2)
He would like to run the newest gtalk with video support but he's available just to do the root permission and remain with the original stock rom
is it available the apk of gtalk with video support for this device?
Is ok also to install a zip from CMW if available..but i want to be sure that works.

first of all i wana say thank u to everyone on xda as u have made my modding of xoom much much easier
to the point then,
i have recently installed Tiamat Xoom Rom 2.2.2 - Moray
and Version 2.2.0 "Odachi" - Stock GPU kernel
and now my gps doesnt work, just sits there looking for signal
worked fine before this, and everything else works fantastic
if anyone can help me please do, i need gps to work as i travel alot
ok, seems to be working again for no apparent reason, thanks anyways lol
btw loving the 2.2.2 moray rom, thank u much tiamat!!!!!!!!
