Factory data reset is how I solved it.

Clear data (of the app) might work.

+1 on the factory data reset. This will solve the issue.

Did you try clearing the gtalk data in Applications and then opening the app to see if it prompts you for an account?

Lookout security

Today i got an email asking if im still using lookout security. I replied and was told.that the app hasnt talked to their server in quite some time.
I cant see any reason for this. I tried to uninstall it to reinstall it. I get an uninstallation fail message.
How do i go about uninstalling it/fixing it as the app has http connect errors?

You could delete it from /data/app and then reinstall from Google Play.

[Q]Default SMS notifications not working.

So I recently switched from Gosms back to the default and now I get no notifications for SMS. Any idea on how to fix this.
It's just a plain g2x no root.
Go to settings in the message app and make sure the notification option is checked

It is, but still no sound not even a vibrate.
Did you uninstall GoSMS? If you didn't deselect out as the default, maybe that's the problem? (I'm totally just spit balling here)

Sounds like a logical spit though, as I was about to suggest the same thing. Make sure GoSMS is uninstalled.

Are you using gmail or another email app? Does it work if you delete them from the webpage?
As much info as possible would be helpful

There's gmail the service and gmail the app, you didn't specify
You might want to remove and re-add your Google account in settings. Have you been "dirty flashing" when moving between AOKP and CM10? Also, what version of gapps are you running?

The app....No dirty flashes wipe wipe wipe...I'll try removing and resyncing. The newest Gapps

You might want to go into your gmail account settings and make sure that your IMAP settings are right as well. If Auto-Expunge is off it might do something similar

I have this same issue intermittently. I found d that if I deleted them b4 marking them as read (and sometimes even if I did mark them as read) then they would come back. I fix it by going into the Gmail app, selecting the search option, typing in "in:unread" (minus the quotes) and hit search. It will do its thing and come back with all the unread emails. From there, select them, mark them as read, and delete them again. Hopefully this will work for you as it has for me.

I would doublecheck and make sure that you don't have it sent to archive versus delete

BPS...thanks gonna try now..hopefully something good happens...it just sux cause the emails start to pile up...takes forever to delete..

Once again...Thank U..BPS...I searched unread...deleted them...restarted phone 2 times...and they're gone...

No problem man. Glad ya got it sorted out. That exact problem had me racking my brain for a week or so. Happy I could keep you from torturing yourself over it for the next few days. Just be sure to remember that search phrase because, chances are, you'll need it again sometime.

Samsung being sneaky trying to access facebook

So, I get this prompt in my notification menu that says, "Your login session has expired," and then it shows the facebook logo or something identifying it as facebook(I can't remember which.) So, I click it and log back in and it brings me to a screen saying that samsung would like to access my profile, so I click, "close," then the whole app just shuts down. Now maybe when an app tries to access your wall this is just the way facebook responds, but the whole thing just seems kind of shady. It acts as if you had been logged out and you need to log back in, then it just tries to get you press next the whole way through and allow samsung access to your facebook.
Disable SNS and it should stop entirely.
