iF YOu loose your notificaton bar from your MANAGE APPLICATONS PLEASE CLEAR THE EDT DATA...... THEN FACTORY RESET IF IT WAS A FRESH INSTALL.......

no darkey is fine its functional i need to fix the kernel for dat and it will be linked on rootz as my thread here was removed by the mods for no apprent reason other then ports dont belong in the dev section... which is funny

i ran into a prob flashing his newest redux due to all partitions being ext4 and had to odin back to kd1 so now that im back to regular recovery (stock) and yellow cwm (when i choose reinstall packages) is it easy to get to ur ICBINB GB build?

Seems like all my issues are gone with a fresh kg4 leak, Odin kernel on that then flased kh1 deodexed flased the kernel again and presto all my problems are gone. Except the system will not unmount. Sooo.......

My only issue with it is the weak wifi, but it's a big enough deal for me to stay on froyo.

Gingered ROM - Based on ACS EE03 - RFS Only

This rom is untested!
I've been poking around with the EE03 release and I think I found a few optimizations that can be made. This rom is really nothing special - just a few tweaks to make ee03 a little better.
ROM Features:
* Adblock from hosts file
* Fixed init.d support - custom scripts can go in /system/etc/init.d
* Switched to no-op IO scheduler - CFQ (default) sequentializes IOs which is faster on spinning discs. Noop should reduce lag on flash memory
* Increase wifi scan interval (save battery)
* AOSP Lockscreen
* Removed a bunch of sprint/trial apps
* CRT animations (turn on in settings)
* busybox as /system/bin/sh - tab completion on adb shell =p
* 1% battery mod
replacing /system/bin/sh was necessary for init.d and noop
this will change a few init scripts for things like gps and bluetooth, my gps and bluetooth work fine but YMMV
UI stuff was shamelessly stolen from ptfdmedic. I kept the http://lostandtired.com wallpaper in there because I think what he does is great. Support this guy if you can he's a great dev

FULL version will erase your /data partition. Use this if you are not already on ee03 or are having problems with the UPGRADE one.

UPGRADE will not format your /data partition. I had no problems going from ACS EE03 to this with the upgrade but again YMMV
If you are on EE03 already I would recommend making a backup, flashing full, then restoring data using advanced restore.

This rom is great the best EE03 out yet at least for me...Everything works GPS, 4G, camera bluetooth launcher pro flies on this what did i do
Odined back to Ec05 stock
rooted with one click root+cwm 3.2.5
went outside and got GPS lock before i flashed rom
wiped 3 times at least and flashed
rebooted into recovery and flashed EE03 modem from acs
and thats it works great fast responsive thank you so much

I'm sure this fixes some issues that were found in KH1.

Well this doesn't come with bootloaders, so as long as you have the GB bootloaders from KG4 you should be gravy.

Which was the latest GB release with bootloaders? I thought KH1 had them but now I'm not sure. Seems like there must be bootloaders out for KH2 somewhere. Where's krylon getting these releases from? The only Samsung site I know about is the one with source code on it.
I'm mistaken. This does have it. I didn't look at the right filenames
KF1 came with both boot.bin and sbl.bin, the primary and secondary bootloaders.
KG4,KG6,KH2 came with sbl.bin only, which modified recovery and download modes
Those are the only ones I have on my computer, but it looks like all the GB leaks came with at least a secondary bootloader, which is what you need.
Not sure where krylon is grabbing them from, but I'd guess he's got a URL that Kies might use to check for updates and grab files.

KG4 has the bootloaders in it.
Just did some testing. Wifi signal full, incoming calls don't get dropped, all show up on call logs, no force closes. I haven't tried restoring apps or data, and haven't tried the deodexer yet but this is going REALLY well.

Yeah you'd better disable it since this comes with a stock kernel which has no ext4 support. You can enable it again after you reflash the KG4 custom kernel with voodoo.
I just got ICBINB KH2 the way I want it.
I wonder if the changes are significant in this build to flash.
I still have MMS issues with KH1 though. I have to use handcent for it to work.

Battery Statistic Screenshots:
As you can see by the app counts and times, I use my phone ALOT lol, so Battery life does vary by the amount of usage... I would like to add that Background services were enabled during this life cycle, and that drains the battery like crazy.... I can post the max amount of time I can get off this rom possibly tomorrow if I can leave my phone alone long enough

Im trying to hold out till we get some theme support for EH17 like 8lockscreen mod, overscroll, crt off, aio mod and all that jazz, once we get that rolling ill likely "port" this over.... I wish samsung would stop messing with the frameworks..... Its making it so hard to make a rom look good lol

Is it using chris41g's EH17 plus kernel because im pretty sure its supposed to auto install.... And I know deca's stock dedex EH17 rom comes with it pre-loaded, so if you possibly based off that it should work..... PM me if I completely missed what your trying to say lol i had a long night polishing this rom

i would recommend that you odin to EH06 first just to make sure a everything from EC05 is gone.... use crawrj's stock EH06 rom (found HERE) to flash through odin

Speed, if you could throw up some screenies it would be great; also, what is the build type? Is it stock? What kernel? What apks? Themed?

i have a long day tomarrow ill post beta 2 tomarrow witch will sport a fully themed launcher ext4 and new kernal plus a couple extra goodies
I fell in love with the MIUI look and feel. I absolutley love the ability to customize on the fly and the speed was insane. Though I dreaded the battery life, sound and HDMI( also GPS was weird sometimes. ) TO I present to you, my loyal minions :

An extremely fast and stable work of art! There are going to be many more additions added to the stack, specially with the input from my fellow flashaholics.
This build is based upon the UCKl2 leak with some library files from the UCJ4 builds to achieve working video and hardware acceleration. I want everyone to give a big thank you to Dman for coming up with this amazing hack!

I really give Samsung credit for this build, they successfully removed Carrier IQ and made things so smooth like butter!
INSTALL
Just to make sure the BatteryStats.bin is properly formed, I charge the phone 100% then flash the phone. If you flash the phone at anything below that, *it* can report to the OS differently.
With a kernel with working RED recovery,
place on SD card and flash away.

Out of everyone here right now, I want to thank you Dman. With out your hard work and determination to become a successful dev, I wouldn't have had a great stock ROM to work from. You really poured the foundation for the past two ROMS that I developed, cause to be honest, as great at kernel development and smali hacker I am, I cannot deodex a rom to save my life. Thanks again!

how to disable voodo? I am on saurom, I want to make sure, its voodoo is disabled before flashing this.. I am at work, so dont want to brick phone at work.

Hell yeah something new to play with!!! Stupid question not sure this I'd why I'm asking. Can we use a gb kernel like infusion? And adrenaline tweaks wont work as of right now correct?

In CWM go to voodoo lagfix and select...then select disable voodoo...reboot and let voodoo disable...then reboot back to recovery and flash bionix

You can use other kernels, but as LB put it best, it breaks ****. You wont be able to view movies or videos of any sort. 99% of the tweaks are included, just not in init.rd as of right now. I had to hard code them into the file system. I have a kernel I will be releasing shortly based on stock, that has working recovery and voodoo, just not yet. Its still a stable setup, just lags really oddly sometimes.
The one thing that caused me to leave MIUI was lack of bluetooth audio. Looking forward to trying this out today.
Sounds like a good rom to flash and leave alone and enjoy. I know some roms have different steps to flash if coming from cm7 or miui is there any with bionix?

TBH, coming from CM7 or MIUI , I would odin stock due to the RFS format. Unless you can go into ADB shell , and format the /system , /cache and /dbdata with rfs.format in recovery, I wouldnt take the chance. LEt me know what process you did, and Ill update OP and credit you.
