[Q] Use TF as digital photo frame - Eee Pad Transformer Themes and Apps

Are there any Image apps that will let use TF as a digital photo frame? I want something that will have a button on lockscreen so we can click it to start the slideshow.
Thanks

i'd love to know the same thing

Try these: https://market.android.com/search?q=digital+frame&so=1&c=apps
I've never tried, because I don't have personal photos saved on my TF, but good luck.

"Floating Image" is pretty awesome.

There an app called flyscreen I think does it

Second that. I almost forgot about this app until you mentioned it. Had it on my phone a while ago and I forgot about it.

[Q] Screen Shots

Does anyone know any other apps that can take screen shots with a rooted phone besides PicMe and ShootMe?
http://www.androidcentral.com/taking-screenshots-without-root
Shootme in market.
I like Screen Shot It, available in the market, but like anything its all about personal preference. I had issues with Shootme, but many love it.
Try em all, pick your favorite.
Yes, I agree with Bella. Screen Shot It is really good. Has the option to save as JPEG or PNG. Really easy to use also.

The only downside is it buries the images, which I can't for the life of me find a way to point the save-to directory elsewhere. But small price to pay for a solid app in my opinion.

Yes, this is true. It does allow you to crop, share or save the screenshot after its done. Share option is handy if you want to post it on facebook, flickr, email, mms.....
Edit: Also, the screenshot images show up in gallery so this way you don't have to go digging for the images.
I use dropcap2

The most awesomest pic viewer evAHR! !

Guys just want to share: today " gallery" decided to take a crap. Its on some kind of bootloop I guessed you'd call it. If you have this experience and can help cool, but that's not why I made this thread. I found the best friggin pic viewer and wanted to share! Its called " quickpic" dl from market and check it! Pics load super quick and slidshow is way smooth! Really happy with it. Give it a try and tell gallery to f- off!

its a realy nice app, i loaded about 10,000 images on my sd the stock gallery would die trying to load it, while this app loaded up fine and smooth
Does it run a service in the background constantly, and does it draw on the cpu much? Ads?
edit: I decided to find out for myself... no service in the background, no noticeable cpu draw, and no ads...very fast sorting of all photos, smooth interface. Shortcuts to camera, and share-to's work well. Allows hidden folders...very nice find...thanks.
Awesome app. I'm gonna use it.

[Q] Transparent live wall paper?

Is there's a transparent live wall paper that loads the cam stream as background? And, also does some scaling to ensure that it looks like the screen is transparent.
I know it's a time and battery waster but you know, this would be cool. xD
Try "Camera through wallpaper" in the market. I haven't personally tested it. I tried one a while ago but dont remember this being the one.

Thanks.
Would try. =)
Any other suggestions?
Update:
Looks cool but it doesn't scale the out to make it appear like the screen is transparent.

[Q] My facebook pic in contacts?

Hey, guys. I just switched from the Vivid to the Skyrocket today. Pretty happy with it overall, but I think I must be missing something.
I had a SG2 before and I don't think I ever figured this out. Why does my facebook picture not show up in my contact card? It's definitely linked because it shows my current Facebook Status, but my actual picture is absent, even if I go to "set defaults". Am I missing something?
Try using Friendcaster and see if it works, and it will also sync higher quality images if you tell it to.

Gallery Issue

I was curious if anyone else is having issues with the CM9 RC2 build as far as their gallery goes?
I am running the RC2 on my Galaxy S2 Skyrocket with CWM 5.8.4.3 running (non-touch).
This is the only real issue I have had since moving to the nightly builds, so here goes...
When I take a picture, I have my Google+ Instant Upload turned on. The picture gets uploaded. No problems.
When I go back to the Instant Upload Gallery and select the picture, I see the picture in proper aspect for about 2 seconds. The picture then resizes to a letterbox or squeezed version. This does not happen in my "camera" pictures. Only web albums...
I attach two pictures of screen shots. (Yes, my wife hit something in the car and popped a hole in my oil pan... but that is for another forum... )
Any thoughts?
Thanks in advance!

This. I've used QuickPic since i've badly wanted to Organize all of my photos easily. If you're like me and dislike using replacement apps for things such as the Gallery, just get a launcher that allows you to change the Icon and Name of it so it doesn't bother you like it bothers me.

I have quickpic installed but it does not show web albums from G+ (Picasa) correct?
Thanks for responding.. no one seems to be having this issue but me... it also says I can't download the pics from Instant Upload to my phone so I can edit them...
Edit: I found an even better program called Just Pictures! It allows for Facebook, Flickr, Photobucket, etc... as far as web albums! Looks like a really good alternative to Galley! YAY!!!
