I downloaded CoreDroid HD 7.1 (Sense 3.0) for Inspire from their site. It uses Hotfile to host the file, so when I tried to download both versions (Sense 2.1 & Sense 3.0) I had to wait until the first was done, Then I was told I reached my download limit from Hotfile, and had to wait 30 minutes, or create a premium account. I hope I like Sense 3.0.
That was the only issue I had.
Holy crap! 7.6 is FAST and the screen animations are awesome. Only five minutes in and diggin this huge.

Will the Circle Battery Meter v7.5 work with 7.6?
I'm guessing it will, but want to be sure so I don't jack anything up.
EDIT: It works, figured the battery version number didn't have to do with the ROM version.
Is there a way to change the branding from Desire to Inspire? I tried the Ispiredmod but it doesn't seem to work
After installing the rom and then rebooting the phone is it normal for it have sit on the HTC screen for 10+ minutes? Hopefully someone can answer soon.
Nop, the normal in first boot is one minute or two. Maybe you need to do a wipe first.
Thankfully all I did was pull the battery and startup the phone and everything ran just fine after that. I didn't have to worry about reflashing anything. Thanks though.
Are there other themes for this rom out there other than the stock theme that comes with it?
Long time lurker here:
I've been using Coredroid v7.6 for the past 2 days and I've had nothing but positive thoughts about it. Super fast, sleek, very stable. Maybe it is just me, but I also think the GPS locks on to my phone much faster under the new software- compared to the stock Inspire ROM. The battery life is also extended, although by how much, I still can't say.
3 things that I noticed however, and maybe you guys can set me right:
1). The green notification light that blinks when your phone is in stand-by and you receive an email, text, or google talk message... I noticed that it doesn't always blink when I get a notification. It seems to work if the phone has just recently been put in stand-by, but if the phone has been sitting there for a couple of hours, and then a notification comes in, the green blink doesn't appear.
2). Speaker hiss. Whenever I'm done with music, a video, or anything that uses the speakers, I can hear a slightly hiss from the speakers that lasts for 1-2 seconds and the "pops" when the hiss breaks off. I believe this was present in the stock ROM as well, but I guess with the speaker volume increase, its more present?
3). When the phone is powered down, there is no charge animation when the phone is plugged into a charge source- all I see is an orange notification light.
Edit: With regards the issue 1; it seems like the green blink DOES work when a notification comes during stand-by... but the frequency is super low (like once a minute or something). Once you un-standby and go to the lock screen, the green blink frequency goes up to once per 4-5 seconds and maintains this frequency EVEN WHEN going back to stand by. Why was this change done?
This ROM seems to drain battery life rather than increasing it as it stated. I love the ROM but I have to have a charger at all times. It's a good thing I already have a car charger or I would be screwedshoukd I adjust the CPU speeds on idle?.

Give me some tips. I can't seem to justify leaving this rom, I've tried others and I dislike them.
I was wondering how to change the boot animation screen. I have been searching and i haven't really found anything. Most things that i did find was specific to a certain rom, so any help would be very much appreciated.

There's a thread for boot animations in the themes & apps section.
Sent from my Inspire 4G using the power of the dark side.
So I went from Coredroid 7.6, and switched to Coredroid 7.1 and added a few mods to it, I put the circle battery mod on, the transparent system ui mod, and transparent rosie mod. I was absolutely loving it at that point, however once my battery reaches 30% or so my phone shuts off over and over again. I'm not sure why this is. Should I have cleaned the battery stats before flashing this mod? There were no problems with 7.6, and when checking my voltages on 7.1 everything was as it should have been at 100%, but I have the issue where the phone shuts down at 30% battery. Is this a known issue?
Edit: I charged the phone up a little bit and problem started appearing with a bit more consistency, flashed back to the 7.6 rom. Oh well, I guess it was fun while it lasted on 7.1
What's the difference between the lordmod kernel that is included in Coredroid v8 and LorDModUE V6.9.2 BFSv404?
Theming question
I have somewhat of a more advanced theming question. Dunno if this is the correct thread to post this question in but, I am making a theme for Coredroid 7.0 and I dont kno how to chainge the sense 3.0 weather backround. Can someone tell me what file I would have to edit and where it is located at? heres an example
Perma-fast boot on CD v8.0 - new Mods page?
Lovin' the Sense 3 w/ the cool widgets and 3D widgets, but noticed that even w/ FastBoot disabled, there is no way to shut CoreDroid v8.0 off! Am i missing something? Did a full-wipe coming from v7.1, which i thought was pretty good ...
Next Q is around theming and UI mods (i like the transparent UI). Where are these to be found, as the OP points to v7.6 and sooner revs - pls advise.
Keep up the great work! thx for your response!
EDIT: pwr dwn options DO exist. sorry for the hasty post! still am curious as to where the new UI mods will come, though.

So when the Inspire 4G first came out, I joined from the dark side (iPhone)... and rooted for the first time. I tried InspiredHD and Android Revolution, but this was back when they both had the tinny audio, so I ended up going back to the ATT Stock Rooted ROM because I wanted my audio back.
Now several weeks later I see a bunch of ROMs available, several of which are Android Gingerbread ROMs. Which are the best? Is there a guide that compares their features that are updates on the daily basis that seems to be how often they're updated?
What do you recommend? I'd like one which is Gingerbread and still keeps the HTC sense, I do like my sense. I'd also like one that had the original audio quality, not the tinny audio that came with the preliminary ROMs.
Any advice\opinions would be appreciated.

desire hd coredroid v4 for inspire 4g VS stock rom.
Personally I know that the stock rom to date has best battery life with setcpu.
I am using coredroid and it is very nice, but of course, it has terrible battery drain. 5-10% drain every 45 min.
It would be nice to have a custom kernel or some fix because it is a great rom, the looks and layout is nice.
It does have a fuzzy speaker sound .
I would suggest staying stock for a week or two, until the devs work out the bugs.
There is always a fix for most everything.

Thanks for the tips, yeah I was afraid of the battery drain. I was afraid it might be an issue. The battery is already bad with Stock ROM, I can't imagine it being any worse... 10% every 45 mins, yikes, that's a battery in 8 hours... lol.
I thought the speaker audio issue was resolved. Is this still not the case in 4.0?

As for application's I always do a clean install that way I know everything is right, not like it is all that hard to do.
My battery is lasting a complete day with this rom.
As for sound issues, people think that this is a large home speaker, it is a phone and the speaker works just fine. I listen to Pandora for three to four hours and it is fine for me.

Why would you do a clean install if you don't have to? Seems annoying to have to re-download and re-position apps every time a ROM is flashed.
A complete day for most is less than 12 hours... and if a phone lasts 12 hours sitting unused, it's really not ideal. Considering most people have a hard time getting a full day out of the Inspire 4G even without Mod's, I really don't want to change to anything that'll give me less battery than I already have, hehe.
I wish you luck my friend but this thread belongs in general, not development.

Because the Dev's say to do a clean wipe if you read the post from them and did I not say Pandora for three to four hours, not exactly unused, plus calls that I receive??? Plus do what you want you asked I responded as for anything else I could care less, it is working fine for me.

Speaker Issue: You can say it's a small speaker all you want, but it's still a quality speaker, and the digitized sounding issue was a major issue to me when the first ROMs came out. I don't expect surround sound and bass, but the stock ROM doesn't sound at all digitized\tinny.
Sorry I missed the Pandora comment. Not sure how you stream 3-4 hours a day without a recharge, considering that time of streaming would beat what the phone's battery and radio are capable of doing, but hey, more power to ya.
And for the record, the expression is "I couldn't care less" ... People who say "I could care less" are just repeating improper usage of the english language rather than thinking about what they're saying.

Have you done the battery reset procedure to ensure that your battery is being used to its full extent after installing the new ROM? If not, that may be your issue.

Battery reset procedure?!?!?!
Is that like those pieces of tin foil that used to "protect" me from my phone's radiation back in the 90's? LOL
Do explain, or provide link please....
Try something new
If you are really looking for AUDIO, give MIUI a shot. I have tried every ROM out there for the phone and I always end up with either Android Revolution 4 or MIUI. I like sense a lot, thus the AR4. But I often flash over to MIUI because the customizations are great, the themes are fun to play with, and the audio is louder than stock. Battery life is good, not quite stock but not as poor as CM7.
I would also try CM7. Fastest ROM out there, but ASOP reminds my of my old droid x and I can't do that anymore. Neither MIUI nor CM7 are sense and you must install an alternate home launcher if you want scrollable widgets.
My final $.02- try them all. With back ups from ROM manager, you can have several on your sd card!

Rchdmix v3.4 works good for lots of people
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA Prem App
Any gingerbread rom right now is going to have battery drain. It is a leaked version from htc, and the source hasn't been released, so there isn't and custom kernel support for it. Modified stock is good, but honestly the battery life on a modified stock isn't going to be nearly as good as a rom based on 1.8X built by Sergio or Mike. Depending on what your doing you on the phone the drain is anywhere from 256-350ish ma, while in standby it stays around 4-6ma on say Android Revolution v3.1 or Coredroid v3.2. In call audio after flashing the sound fix is not going to be stock but it is going to be very close. There will be a sound boost on the outside speaker, so it will be easier to hear it ring. Make sure when you flash the sound fix after flashing a rom or a radio that you wipe the cache and devilk cache.
If ginger bread is what your looking for I would wait, if customization, performance and battery life are what your looking for flash AR v3.1 or Coredroid v3.2
I am not going to tell you how long the battery lasts when I use it cause how much I use my phone may be quite a bit different from how you use your phone, so to say that it lasts so many hour when I do this or that is trivial. But it is certainly longer then stock.
As to what section this should be posted in, it should be general since it's a question, and we have no Q&A section. Development is mainly for ROMS and Fixes, and Themes in apps are mainly for themes, apps, splash screens and boot animations.
Keep in mind you can give all the roms a whirl, as long as you make a nandroid back up with cwm you can flash any rom you like, and if you don't like it then use your nandroid backup to return to exactaly how your phone is right now.
I see some people commenting on how bad battery drain is. Is it really that bad for you? Did you have the captivate prior to this phone? My battery last me all day and into the next day with wifi on. I text a good bit and surf the web. My captivate could barely last till I got off work, this phone I can go to work next day with it on same charge and charge during the day

I'm thinking about the ACE ROM... because of the ROM manager support. I want to know how good the battery is one VS the other??
I'm running the most current version of leedroid and have been for about a week now it is the best Rom I have found on this site by far! I use my phone for work so it gets used a lot I'm going on 16 hours without a charge and still have 49% left! BTW I did flash the recommended radio they have listed on their post on this site if u need more info just let me know

Let me say it in a nice way before others flame you. This seems like the common thread that is opened: which one is the best or better rom? There is no such thing as that in the android community. Everyone has a different opinion so IMHO that wouldn't help much. Just try both of them out to see which one you like more.
I've used both, and I have to say, the battery life on LeeDroid is far superior for me than on Ace.

Try out each for a time and see how you like them. each one might have different quirks that make or break the ROM. I found Ace more stable on my phone, but tried LeeDroid and had issues with the speakerphone being echoey.
good luck!
Having used both;
Ace - Smooth, no errors, Bluetooth sometimes goes in and out, Signal strength was great for me, Battery was A-Ok. Even when streaming the battery stayed nice and charged.
LeeDriod - Smooth, Fast with the OC , a few errors here and there, FC's here and there for apps. (Sirius will lock up) No issue with blue tooth, Signal strength is so-so for me on this one. Battery life is ok when not streaming, but when plugged in streaming the battery would not gain any charge.
Leedriod prolly looks a little better. But I think Ace is stronger stability wise.
Personally I love to flash the phone to see little things/tweaks each rom brings. But I almost always return to a stock rom.
Basically I do a rom back up for each Rom I install. I configure it and place every app/game on it that I use. I remove anything I hate/don't want and then back it up. I then place the back up on my PC. When I want to go back I copy it to the CWM Backup folder and just recover to it.
Lol I like that... The version of leedroid I speak of is 3.0.2 I find the two roms to he identical. With tweaks done to the operating system it self...
I like that ACE has rom manager support...
But I like that leedroid was built from the ground up and people reporting great battery life...
I'm torn lol
I have flashed all the ROMs and I'm staying with LeeDroid
Sent from my Inspire 4G using XDA Premium App
I honestly wouldn't put too much stock in ROM Manager support. For my purposes, it wasn't a big deal. If you have the XDA app, Lee's FTP downloads are smooth and easy, and it doesn't take much to get them to the right spot with a file manager if you know where you're looking.

I ran saga before ace.. frankly saga felt better than ace. I can't put my finger on anything specific, ace just had quirks- things not behaving as I thought they should. I changed from ace to leedroid and I'm happy. The only problem I have with leedroid is the volume isn't as loud through the headphone jack as CM7 is.
The main selling point for leedroid was tthe battery saving... But I'm really not seeing much improvement... Its OK but 10hours of normal use Max...
I think that's because of me messing around with the radio flashing and such...
I'm on 3.0.2 ROM with 3.0.4 kernel.. maybe a clean install of the 3.0.4 ROM?? or 3.0.2...

Since you have s-off, you should be able to flash a rom. Considering you are having issues, I would try flashing the stock rom thru h-boot first. Search the dev section for attn1's Ace_Cingular_US rom. Rename the file if needed and place it on the root of the sd card. Turn of fastboot in the settings menu of your device and restart in h-boot. Make sure there are no other such zip files on the sd card. When h-boot finds the file, it should prompt you start the flashing of the rom and radio.

Yes I did,,,,,
I dont know anymore...ugh ... i thought this would be a little simpler for me. i guess not..I'll keep trying
Don't worry overmuch as I have had issues too, although I was successful in the past on another device. From my research, if you can boot at all, you will be fine. Just takes some research and maybe some help from some Senior Devs .
can u boot into clockwork mod recovery, by holding volume down and power?
The reason i ask is im not sure if this can be done in hboot, but here is what i would like you to try. From the dev section go to leedroids 4g V3.03.0 GB thread and download the EXT4 wipe and his latest rom (((only using his, because the wipe and rom work together nicely, you can flash anything you want later))) after downloading both, transfer to the root of your sdcard. Then using CWM (if possible) flash the wipe first and then the rom without rebooting (again if possible.)

Sounds like a soft brick. Possibly a bad flash, possibly from a bad download. Did you check the integrity of the download, md5sum? You want to do that and make sure you have no other pd98img.zip file on the sd card. Do as suggested, go to the sticky and follow the instructions for recovering from a soft brick.

Did you flash a radio? The hack kit left me with a nasty radio. Upgrading to the latest radio made a difference. Post which radio you have, settings > about phone > software information > baseband version. Visit the Leedroid thread and see which radios are recommended. It is also possible it may have been a bad flash. In which case, you would need to wipe and flash again.

it could be the rom, which one do you have installed now??? I noticed the best battery life with two pump chumps recook of the stock rom >> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=982963 , but for best overall look and feel i like leedroids gingerbead rom, that i posted earlier (however battery life is an issue with any GB rom). Its really just up to and what you will be doing as to whats best for you. Just try a few or try them all till you find what you like. Its also worth noting that CM7 seems to have the best battery life of any, but its an entirely different look. I personally hate it, but you may not.

Now that everyone has babied this poor sad little girl through the softbrick rooting step, I need one more piece of advice
I went to sleep last night after a victory dance: rooted phone, great Gingerbread and sense 3.0 etc etc
Put phone on charger --zzzzzz-- wake up and take it off charger and after more than 8hrs on wall charger battery is only 50%%!!! WTFF i've been up for a little while now and its at 38% with me not even touching it or doing anything on it..is there a rom or something that can extent battery life...is there a scan i can to to see if theres a different problem? I read that people have good battery life with LeeDrOiD IDK
Again thank you very much!!

There is an Android bug that puts the phone in a permanent wake state even when the screen is off, phone idle, etc. It happens after a phone call. Rebooting fixes it. this bug is identified by the Dialer taking up inordinate battery usage in the battery stats. It would be really coincidental if that happened to you right after flashing though...just a thought.
@fernadezhjr the Baseband version I have on here is 12.39.60.19U_26.06.04.06_M
I don't know what that means so *shrugs* haven't tried to Flash a new radio. I have a rom for one but i've done a lot to my phone so idk lol.......if you know where i can get a trustworthy rom for sure for the LeeDroid root.
@bermatides(sorry if i spelled wrong i only glanced at name) I have the [ROM]LeeDrOiD HD V3.3.0 GB [KERNEL]V3.2.0 >EPIC!< 6th July | HTC GB | OTA | CRT TV
I downloaded it from here from his personal profile off his posts. I dont know how corrupt it could be...everything is working fine. My wifi is just slow even with all the bars. and its not so much that my phone isnt charging (which i thought) its the wall charger that isnt charging my phone. it charges in the car and on the computer. but won't charge in the wall.....the little lightning bolt comes on and shows charging in action but the battery percentage goes lower and lower the longer its "charging" then kaput .........
I got to say that even with all of the great development here this phone has been overly disappointing..
This is my Wife's phone I use an SGS II. I was going to keep it stock but she was complaining about it locking up occasionally and poor battery life. So i rooted and have had her try out several roms of several flavors, sense 3.0 and 3.5 gingerbread of all sorts, and different kernels and all.. It seems no matter the combo the general use of the device seem sluggish at times.
Her biggest complaint is how sometimes she needs to pull for the notification bar 3 or 4 times before it will pull down.. Whats crazy is non of these issues are present at first, usually do not show for a few days.
I at first thought it was the set up but after so many mixes of different things i checked that off, then i thought it was an app but i had her go for a few days without installing anything and it eventually still happened..
I have decided it either the device just plain sucks or its the sense garbage clogging it up..
Any good ASOP rom recommendations?
Or any recommendations at all? Maybe someone else who had had issues with this device and who has found happiness could point me in a good rom kernel combo for this POS...
Sorry had to vent.. and any help would be great..
No problems whatsoever on the ROM I'm running. Did you make sure to superwipe in between each ROM flash?

Yes Superwipe is my friend. Honestly It could just be that this device is just not as good as her G2 which she now wants to go back to lmao.. but whatever..

No one else seams to have these problems i get no lag what so ever but if your looking for a good AOSP Gingerbread ROM have you tried Cyanogen Mod 7????? or eve MIUI as far as ICS ROM i like this one http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1408351
have you tried swapping/formatting your SD card?
other than that, it sounds like you've tried everything...you may just have a bung handset...your problems are not common
I was having some of the same problems. No matter what Rom/kernel combo I had there were bugs. I went back to stock and voila... Smooth as butter. I guess the updates tmo released really fixed all of the problems I had when I first purchased the sensation. I suggest you try it out.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
I have been using sensation for 4+ months now. Yes the stock ROM is buggy but definitely not as bad as you are experiencing. I rooted and install custom ROM after one week stock ROM usage. May be you can try by 1) factory reset if not fixed then 2) format or new memory card.
All Gingerbread based ROM's are pretty good in terms of feature, performance and stability. For starters you can try insertcoin or android revolution HD. I would not recommend ICS based ROM since they are still work in progress kind of mode. Though most of the things will work with ICS ROM, looking at your frustrating experience I would recommend only GB based ROMs.
All The Best!
Faulty handset.
Get it replaced/fixed.
Never have I experienced any of these issues with my Sensation.
I use ARHD 3.6.x since day 1 and it's still as smooth as butter.
I use Daemon controller to take the CPU down to 1GHz.
I have many many apps installed and have nearly filled the internal memory with a few apps on the SD too.
I have removed a few system apps using root. What accounts are you using on the device? I have heard that a sense account can be a bit of a drain on battery and resources.

I'd agree.
All of symptoms "pull for the notification bar 3 or 4 times before it will pull down.. Whats crazy is non of these issues are present at first, usually do not show for a few days. " are VERY similar to http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1239238
There was another link 150+ pages relating to it but can't that one. Anyway, get it replaced.
I think because her nails are long
I had a lot of sluggishness with stock but now I'm using MIUI and it's really smooth and is better on batt life w/o all that stock bloat nonsense. I don't know why I waited so long to root. Every now and then I have issues pulling the status bar but I figure it's just my finger placement or another app is running a task and hogging the CPU for a sec.

Honestly though with a dual core device you should be able to pull the notification bar down at will.. at least my SGS II has never done this..

This maybe a possibility that she has a faulty touchscreen making it seem to be laggy when infact its not..
Thank you guys for so many responses im going to have her try an ASOP rom like CM7 and see if it helps if not maybe ill get it replaced..
My sensation is sluggish on the stock rom. It operates very smooth on cm7 alpha #10 and the latest miui which i am sporting at the moment. Do u use titanium backup at all in her phone. Ive read some shiz bout TB.

I got the same problem. Takes couple tries to unlock the phone, some on-screen keyboard keys are not responding, notification bar not coming down. It was very annoying and frustrating. But all the problems are gone once I installed CM7/MIUI.

Well shes not home from work yet and im going to class tonight, but I will be putting her on CM7 especially after reading your comment.
I think your phone (hardware) is defected. Get a replacement. I run many of the custom ROM for the past few months and none of them have the problem you described. Good luck.

I really think that you guys are just used to a less than smooth experience. and i don't mean this in a bad way. I have not only been exposed to my wife's Sensation but the weird dude upstairs Sensation >though its stock< is slow and choppy and has horrible battery life as well.. just saying its bad when when you take her G2 running a sense 3.0 rom and put it next to the Sensation running a similar rom and the older device is running it better..
OK, So after trying out the CM7 build and now Hypersensation I am going to say even without waiting <but the next few days will tell> sense is what really hinders this phones performance. Totally 1000% more responsive than ANY Sense rom i have had on this device.. still not up to par where i feel it should be but much nicer..
Ok if shes still in cm7 just leave it dont overclock it. Give it a few charges to settle. Everything should work smooth except the video camera. Glad i could help u.

If she doesnt like cm7 give the latest miui a go. Everything works great. Only bug ive noticed is the wifi likes to turn on by itself once in awhile so keep an eye on it if u try miui. Ive came over from a nexus s and comparing both phones id say the sensation is a hair better plus the build quality is much much better.

I know the leak is out there in the dev section, but I'm having trouble getting a feeling or consensus on the quality of the rom. In particular, I'm most concerned with battery life and general crashing/incompatibilities that might occur going about basic operations. Anyone care to share their experience so far? Is it more worth waiting til Jan/Feb when I'm guessing Verizon might finally release JB?

I've been running the CleanRom ULE version of this since the day it was posted and love it. Quite noticeably faster and smoother than ICS. GPS lock is faster than it ever was on ICS. Mobile data is the same as it was - I'm in a pretty good 4G area and have no problems. One thing I have noticed is that Wifi is pickier when I'm on the fringe of the signal. Some places where I used to be able to connect, I can't any more. But if I'm in a stronger signal area it's just fine.
I hate that my notification bar isn't straight black. It's like, off black but not quite grey.

Lol, I thought I was the only one who cared about that.....kinda annoys me.
Other than that, it runs super great for me. I was on it for the first three days or so, but needed my cm10 fix again. Its so good that I usually spend about half my week cm10, half on one of the jb leaks.

VRBLI5 JellyBean is better in certain areas and worse in others compared to ICS...overall I would give it a slight edge. I bet the official update will polish things up a bit. You have to remember the JB leak is dated oct. 8th. There was a reason it did not make it as a official ota...its still pretty good for a leak, definately not complaining by anymeans. :good:
The one from incubus hadn't given me a single problem yet. I think my battery life actually improved. After about 11 hrs yesterday mine was still at 30% (Bluetooth on, brightness up).
I think it's great. I'm using Synergy, which I think is excellent (always has been). If you use this ROM, you should also flash the radio update (I5) and RPM (power management) update. The radio is definitely improved - I'm not having my calls constantly dropped anymore in below-average signal locations!! Very happy with this update.
I flashed the Incubus RLS11 yesterday and it ran fine for a while. Things were smooth. Didn't notice any problems.
I'm in the sticks but I get pretty good LTE. To make sure I don't lose it when I need it I use the Phone Info app to go LTE only. That worked great on stock or stock-rooted-unlocked. It even worked good on CM10 and AOKP-M1. But for some reason on the Incubus ROM I started having real problems.
I tried forcing LTE only which would work for a few seconds and then would switch back automatically to the default LTE/CDMA/EvDo. After playing around with it some more it got stuck in CDMA auto (PRL) for a while and then GSM auto (PRL) and then EvDo only. It was really weird. I got tired of messing with it so I restored my stock image.
I didn't do the radios or RPM which was probably my problem. The links on the page I got the rom from were dead.
I'll try again, just didn't want to fool with it last night. Other than the radio issue it was real smooth. I'm a freak, I kinda really like TouchWiz. I was on stock or CM or KANG so much on my GNex, I'm enjoying the skinned experience. The biggest thing I miss from the GNex is JB though.
Been running JellyWiz RLS12 all week and it's been great. Battery life is same it was stock. Some have had issues with battery, but if you read through the thread for that ROM, I believe there are fixes. The only issue I have that is unresolved is I am not able to play movies or tv back through the Google Play Movies and TV app. The phone just reboots. Not a big deal for me right now, and Google Now easily makes up for it.
I have been running the lastest leak for two days now, the biggest changes I noticed, are the following
1. the Driving mode on/off toggle seems to have been removed from the pulldown bar, but driving mode itself is still there. (I downloaded a home screen widget to turn it on and off quickly)
2. The entire phone itself, from games, to movies, to youtube videos seems.....smoother and more refined (I blame Project Butter)
3. Slight battery life improvement :good:
4. if you use facial unlock, they moved the camera bypass from bottom to top right corner
My only complaint so far is that when I get a text message, missed call, voicemail I get the "Swipe over Icon to view the missed event" alert.
Don't get me wrong those nice little alerts help introduce to you new features of the phone. I don't mind them once or twice, but this specific one on the lock screen, I can't get rid of. Any ideas?

Under the wireless (WIFI) settings you have to disable "Avoid poor connections"..should help that
Just wantes to update that im having alot better battery life on J1...im at 20hrs, 2hrs screen on, 44% left.
Jelly Beans build running great.
Tapatalk'd / Galaxy SIII on Jelly Beans
Have the same hotspot issues but otherwise it's pretty smooth. Very quick and yes I know everyone says that but it's not a placebo. I even put my phone back to stock because I need foxfi and it is considerable slower... Not slower but just not as quick to respond

Running Cleanrom 4.5 that is JB- Battery is awesome, rom feels fast and smooth.
These are the item I found wrong with the latest JB leak: (at least on my phone)
After an alarm goes off and you try and lock your phone, it won't lock. The screen will turn off but won't stay off. You have to unlock your phone to home screen then relock it.
New Samsung keyboard was incredibly laggy.
When trying to delete an extra home screen the phone would lock up and then say "touchwiz home has stopped working."
I don't think this was a bug but to get to the task manager, I had to hold down the home button for like 5 seconds!
There was another thing but I can't remember it. I was running the untouched leak, via Odin. I went back to stock.

The only thing I've noticed is that the icon for voice input in messaging is not there, and it is turned on. Never mind found that........
