I've been using android for a while now and I'm grateful for websites like this and all Android based websites that offers help and guidance.
I'm launching several dedicated servers online strictly to give back to the android community. The servers will be housed at InterServer on a 100mbps line.

Android APP developer needed

Already have desktop website with 10,000 Members , 100,000 Monthly Uniques to our website and 1 million page views...so a Base of Buyers is already in Place on top of Android Market
Fuel Stations locator Map (and list view) ..with Prices
User should see x amount of Stations in a select-able radius

User should then be able to Post Prices
Members can have Favorites list

Already have database ..and hopefully you can just reuse some coding from the websites pages
I have neither the talent , time , energy or money to do this on my own.. essentially looking for someone to develop and maintain the APP side of our Business as their "baby" and simply handle the odd and end issues that arise , basic maintenance , keeping the APP updated as Android is updated etc ...

That's kind of funny lowend.. I am offering to pay for a service and your not sure if that's allowed.. but it is allowed to ask fro free work on xda..(handful of developers and a whole bunch of us looking for /demanding the next free release of xyz ..me included)
I know what you mean though I didn't see a "marketplace" or" Developers for Hire"..so posted here and let the Moderators sort it out.. what ever they need to do is fine..

does anyone here knows Flattr? If implemented to XDA interface, it would be great one-click way to send some dosh directly to developers. PayPal alternative. The only fee I'm aware of is 10% of money you send to your Flattr account. That's it. You can even support Cyanogen team (and LibreOffice, KeePass, GNU etc...) right now, just check software section of Flattr catalogue.

I heard about this at a Ubuntu fan site a while back, but never actually donated. If it catches on, I'll gladly donate some money here and there. It's a much more useful idea than "Like" or "+1" in my opinion.
Okay. Someone help me please. I'm even almost to the point where I will pay someone to help me out. I've been looking for web developers/designers and app devs for quite awhile now and have had ZERO luck. I have found web devs in different countries, mostly in India and I know India companies do great web work but, I need a freelancer close to home (Texas, Dallas) or remotely close.

We do a lot of Broadcast Media work including network & cable television, Digital Media and "Big Data" work. We need to add another Manual QA / Software Tester/Analyst to our existing team at ESPN. Ideally we'd like someone who has tested native & web apps on Android platform and has UI testing experience. This group will work heavily with the interactive television teams (Google TV, etc.) and will be responsible for the full QA life cycle within an Agile/Scrum environment. Any experience with “second screen” or social tv would be a plus. 6-12 mos contract. Must be US CITIZEN, GREEN CARD HOLDER or have already have EAD in hand. W2 only. No C2C or 3rd parties.

500mb isn't much, even if its free.
Even if its free, 500 MBPS is not much, plus you dont even state what encryption you use, if any is even used. Nice of you to do this, but i would never trust my backup data here.
