hey guys i just finished to S-OFF my sensation but now after the revolutionary is done it it took me back to the white screen dat says S-OFF RL
thats means i am s-off right now?and if so how do i enter to clockworkmod recovery?
thanks!
If you already have CWM recovery installed on the phone, then it's a matter of hitting the right button(s) during boot.
In my case (SE x10 mini pro), during boot right after the SE logo, i need to hit my back key a number of times to open CWM recovery.
hitting the right button?are you talking about the volume + button?
for my phone specifically, it's the 'Back' button. Unsure about your specific model of phone and CWM installation.. but it may be worth experimenting and hitting different buttons during boot up to see if you can figure it out.
i tried to click on back button while boot nothing happends =/

Be sure you followed the steps to install clockwork recovery LINK
Be sure to look at this page link
If you already flashed the recovery click the power button where it says boot loader, click down on the bottom volume rocker, and then select recovery. It should boot into clockwork's recovery image and your good to go. Hope this was helpful.
Yup i needed to click on recovery to get clockworkmod thanks everyone!

I Used this method and used one of the 3.2 Roms
http://www.tabletroms.com/forums/tr...stock-3-2-recovery-roms-unbricking-tools.html
and i updated it for the last one from asus ( i mean through the tablet )
here is a picture

NOW
Is my Transformer in stock state ?
I am new in this subject, but I have been reading a lot.
If you followed the steps exactly, put back a stock ROM without SU package (from the picture I see you have a stock version number, 8.6.5.21, but It doesn't say about SU, look in Apps), and replaced the ClockWorkMod recovery with stock Asus recovery (green android with exclamation mark), then it should be back as stock.
Try to boot into recovery mode, as long as CWM is gone and android recovery is back you are indeed back to stock ROM there..
Edit: BTW if you updated through the ROM directly from Asus then you are stock, as you need a stock ROM and stock recovery to apply official OTA updates.
Cheers, and congrats on being stock again (??) lol

So this is stock recovery. I failed to check out the stock recovery before I rooted and put CWR on there to make my initial back up (old habits that bled over from phone-my bad). Anyways, comparing to phone recoveries, there are usually 4 items listed in stock recovery. You know the standards, wipe, reset,...but does the tablet have that? I flashed the stock recovery package and when I rebooted, I hit the power + vol down and the up like CWR and it went to that screen with the ! and android with no options. I tried it again, only this time it gave me 2 options, Hot and Cold reboots (I know what those are).
So my question is if merely having the ! and andriod is in fact stock recovery. Getting used to separating phone from tablet but still learning and reading and reading and reading.
Thanks for all
just 2 points :
1- after i download the update and press install the tablet turned off !! when i turned it on the update completed successfully !! is it usual ????
2- i tried to enter the recovery through ( press power button & on asus logo press vol - then vol + and didn't enter the CWM recovery !! So am i on stock recovery now ??
Yes you are stock, also as luca_c666 pointed out, if you flashed a rom directly from Asus then you are stock because you can't flash those roms when you have a custom recovery.

Yes that is stock recovery, it looks for Asus signed files on the external sd card, named either EP101_SDUPDATE.zip or RR_epad-user-x.x.x.xx.zip where RR = region stamp (US, TW, HK, DE, UK, WW, etc) and x.x.x.xx = firmware version. For example, when i wanted to circumvent the broken root i had to use file WW_epad-user-8.6.6.19.zip placed on my sd card, stock recovery will find this file and flash it..i believe OTA updates load into a cache folder in the system, so i guess if you don't have an external sd you could put the file there too, im sure it simply scans these locations in sequence until it finds an Asus signed file that will install.
Thank you everybody

Also are you installing using ADB from a desktop PC to the TF700T using a USB connection?
Just trying to get a feel for where you are at.
Doesn't look like a brick you just wiped everything including your recovery.
I believe...

I'd reflash a custom recovery with fastboot and see if that starts up. When it does, put a ROM file on a microSD card or send it over with adb, and flash it. Then restart.
Hey guys, so I had previously rooted my Galaxy S III (SCH-I535) but was running the standard Verizon-issued Android 4.3. I stupidly took the OTA to 4.4.3, thinking my root was safe because I attempted to use a root keeper. I lost root, and I also appear to have lost the ability to boot into recovery.
My phone otherwise works fine - I can use it as designed to my hearts content, and can also boot into download mode. However, when I try to boot into recovery (using Home + Volume Up + Power), I get the Samsung splash screen, with the words "Custom" and a broken/unlocked lock. The screen then goes black for about 30 seconds, it buzzes, and then reboots into a normal boot (starting over again at the aforementioned Samsung splash screen).
I attempted to push TWRP using Odin, but that fails:

The phone display read thusly:
ODIN MODE
PRODUCT NAME: SCH-I535
CURRENT BINARY: Samsung Official
SYSTEM STATUS: Custom
QUALCOM SECUREBOOT: ENABLE
BOOTLOADER AP SWREV: 2
SECURE CHECK FAIL : recovery (this last line appears after attempting to push TWRP)
Any thoughts on how to get some kind of recovery working? I appreciate any advice anyone can offer.

Your now on a locked bootloader. You can't flash a custom recovery other than safestrap
Here you go http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2797314
From what I've been reading the only legit way to keep root through otas is the option in supersu to attempt to keep root after an ota. There's no 100% guarantee but some people have reported it to work, and towelroot may be your only working option for root
From my S3 on Wicked 4.3
Hei guys.. Long time no see .
Let's get to the point. I factory reseted my htc one s (from recovery) (internal, ..etc all i could select). The rebooted my phone. When i try to turn it off (by keep pressing power button until i stops) it restarts after 5-6 secounds(without me touching anything). I can,t turn it of, the adb can't recognize it. My phone is unlocked and S-off. I didn't brick my phone the time i used it..and now i do a factory reset and ..bootlooping ! It will propably turn off when is out of juice!

What do you expect? You've erased everything from it with that Factory Reset. How it is supposed to boot without a ROM on it?
Keep vol down pressed while it is rebooting, eventually it'll go to bootloader. You probably haven't press it at the right timing. Press power off till it shuts down, then press vol down and keep it pressed until you get the bootloader. Then you can go to recovery and mount to PC, transfer a ROM zip and flash it.
By any chance do you have a nandroid backup of the rom that worked before? Probably not on sdcard (if you erased that also) but on PC. You could try restoring that one from recovery

The latter.
Thank you for the reply. I'm having a problem booting into TWRP. After I flash it and reboot back to download mode it prompts me to unlock to bootloader again.

I've never heard of that. Can you post a pic of the screen where you get this message? Also, after flashing TWRP you need to boot into recovery, not download.
I'll post some tonight when I get home. The tablet didn't do anything when I held the power button and vol up together

Which model do you have? TWRP is only for the T735.

This is an unofficial and experimental build of TWRP which was tested on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE (SM-T735) model only. I used TWRP Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G device tree by ianmacd and modified it. MTP doesn't work at the moment. If you...

After I flash when I reboot to recovery, Should I have the USB plugged in or not? Or doesn't it matter?
The first pic is in download mode when I flash TWRP. The second one is what I get after I flash TWRP and reboot by holding Vol down and PWR at the same time and, as soon as the screen goes dark I switch to Vol up and power. The last one is the log and file I'm flashing in Odin. Let me know if I missing something dumb or if you have any ideas on how to get into TWRP. Thanks Yall!

I have my T733 rooted but no TWRP. I haven't seen anyone say have. And without TWRP or fastboot, I don't know of a way to try a GSI.
I did flash TWRP for the Galaxy A52s 5g It has the same chipset and CPU but still no good. I wonder if someone around here could port it over? I'm not that level of nerd, I do tier 2 support.
