If you already purchased vignette, you can download the working beta at http://build.neilandtheresa.co.uk/apks/Vignette.apk direct from the devs of vignette...

Cool, that's good news, I'll wait a few, see if they populate it to the market!
this isn't really flash though, as far as i see, all it does is turn on the light
The biggest problem with vignette is the newer interface is absolutely horrid! I cant even stand opening the app anymore.

Anyone try the new TweetDeck beta? I've been using 0.9.4 for about a week and its awesome so far. However all the updates since .5 through .7 seem to break it.
How did you update it. I think I still have the original beta version.

it's nice but the one thing about it I'm not liking is when I update it in the morning (I have it set on manual update) it remembers my position but after 5 or so tweets it jumps to 2 hours ago. It skips like 6 hours. I usually use touiteur and it lets you set up how many tweets you can load. I don't see this on TweetDeck. If it had that then it would be pretty nice...
Yeah, its a little rough but until they smooth out the rough patches and give a widget its one hell of a beta though.
Ok, call me new but Im lost. I have 0.9.4 as an apk file, but this new update doesnt seem to be in that format. Any clues how I load this?

When I installed the new one it was also an apk. But it wasn't a very good build so I went back to .4 seemed most stable.

Great thanks I'll just stick with what I have...did you download directly from your phone? I came on my computer as a zip file not apk...
Checkout the market to find a new app by sonyericsson. It allows you to take panorama pictures by sweeping the phone (like Sony camera's).
It is still in beta, but it looks promising.

Thanks for Good app
What a great app! I tried taking pictures individually before and then stitching them all together, but that's just a pain in the... This is so fast and easy! Love it!
Great news! Excellent app! Thank you man!
can anyone upload apk here, though it specifically says it's for x10, I can't install that
I'd love to try it but alas, I can't find it.
Why people make useless threads without apks?
Do you think it's a bit stupid?
You are proud of yourself, that find good app and want shout about it in our sandbox? some people there behave themselves like children/
Cant seem 2 find it either... its either been removed or its only available in certain countries - can any1 upload here? Thanks
Well, it's here but apparently I can't use it since I don't have 2.1 :S

Panorama beta - Free @ Android market
Doesnt work on TripnMiui1.5.6 im guessing as its 2.2 shame.
OP,
Dude, this app is awesome. I will use it a lot for a ton of things. Thanks for the news about the app.
Its almost worth it to go back to stay at 2.1. Lol

I'm using SE generic world 2.1 on an AT&T X10A, and Panorama Beta works fine. It's pretty basic and doesn't really have too many settings. One nice thing about it is that you can stop a sweep instead of having to complete a full one. This lets you have a picture that is less wide, but more customized to how you want to frame the panorama. This app will definitely do in a pinch.
Just have good lighting (outdoors is best), don't do your sweeps too quickly, and be as steady as you can. One thing I noticed is that when the sun is above and ahead of you, the panoramas can have shadowed banding...so keep the sun behind you and things are much better. I hope the final version will fix this.
For better quality panoramic pictures, I'll stick with my Sony DSC-TX7 camera. But it's great to see Sony Ericsson still supporting the X10 with cool little apps!
its not working on froyo Roms...
Trip's IRIS MIUI 1.6
Seems like it only works on the official 2.1. I'm really interested to see how this app develops.
Sent from my X10i using XDA App
Yeah, it will work only on Xperia X10 + Stock ROM. You can download the .apk from here, if interested.
Like the title says, Skype works as it should on EP1Q. FFC and all. Enjoy!
Stock or the hacked apk?
From the market.

Seems nice but I'm more of an official guy, I'd rather stay on Froyo til the official GB comes out. Currently the leaks are pretty buggy and don't have PBJ/very much ROM support. Plus, the hacked version of Skype works fine, thanks for letting us know though.

It "works" on froyo, just not the front camera :-/ No reason you shouldn't be able to download it. The Charge is a supported device.
Sent from my SCH-I510 using Tapatalk
They say that GB has something for the front camera that Froyo doesn't. Which is complete bull**** because stuff like Fring works perfectly...the Skype devs are just making stuff up because they can't code.

I can't get it to work. Don't seem to have a video option
EDIT:: I got it to work by restarting the phone. Video options suddenly appeared.
Try mu builds HERE that works with many froyo FFCs. If your Droid has the same FFC API as the other Samsung devices, it should work. I also keep adding more devices so if it doesn't work on you, maybe you can give me files from your devices so I can try to add it.

Just installed the latest version that you linked to onto my SAMSUNG DROID CHARGE running Humble 1.51.
I called someone on a MAC and the video did not work (not sure what version of skype client was used on MAC side). The call worked but the video option failed.
I called someone on Win 7 with the latest Skype version (downloaded over the weekend) and the FFC video worked fine. Did not try the back camera.
Thanks for this awesomeness!!

Running Froyo - Skype worked fine for me last Friday when I made a video call to my sister that lives in Australia. She was using her Apple laptop and I was using my Droid Charge. I also Skyped my buddy's iPhone4 with no issues.
I don't use Skype from the Market, I used the one that was posted around these boards. It works fine.
Hey,
I'm sure I remember reading about someone talking about it on our play forums, but don't think I've seen anyone confirm.
The hacked version of SE's panorama camera app works on the play -running CM7-
Link here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=14976061&postcount=90
Tested / working on my R800x running CM7.
Edit: thanks to everyone who tested, looks like this currently will not work with stock SE firmware or Verizon's bloatware. Really makes me wonder what's different in CM7 that lets it work.
I've tried a number of panorama apps, and I have to say; its pretty sweet. Simple, straightforward, gets the job done, and works well. Makes me wonder why they refuse to include it as a stock feature.
Sent from my R800x using xda premium
nice works on stock Rom good find
edit: doesn't save pic after it's taken
Really? That's odd. Can someone on cm7 try? It's saving fine for me. attached a photo I took with it for yalls. Hopefully since it seems to work with cm7 something can be done to get it working with stock.

Thanks but whenever I press the stop button, it does not save the picture
it won't save the picture for me either. Verizon stock 2.3.3
Doesn't save pictures on the stock rom. I also followed the thread linked to above; downloaded the original version from first page and flashed the panorama-fix.zip containing the necessary libraries. That doesn't work either.
It doesn't work on the stock roms, you'll be able to install it yes but it won't save the picture, it works perfectly on the cm7 roms cause I was using it alot and posted something about it over in general like 3-4 months ago but I got tired of using the cm7 roms cause the touchpads didn't work for 3/4 of the games I liked to play

2.3.2
it will work perfectly at firmware 2.3.2....
It's probably just trying to save the pictures in a directory that doesn't exist in the official firmware.
Where are the panoramas saved ?
I believe they are saved in a folder called panorama on the sd card

As we all know, Facebook for Android sucks. 1.9.12 was the last that worked for me allowing sharing, statuses, etc before the latest version broke all that.
The following link contains downloads of old versions.
Delete current Facebook for Android (if latest)
DL apk and install like normal
DO NOT UPDATE through play store when it says you have an update. You'll be back at the new crap version.
