Hello,
I am searching a program for my raphael or any windows mobile based phone. I have to use it to control the mediaplayer on my notebook. I know sony ericsson has something like that built/in, but I need it for windows mobile.
Thanks!!!
I think it is rather related to your notebook software...
Last time i did this i just paired handheld (some older Nokia iirc) with Bluetooth in PC. Then i installed some software on PC and voila - i could even move mouse pointer using phone.
Start by pairing your WM device with laptop. Then search for some program for notebook to use BT signal to control mouse/imitate key presses. And you are good to go.

Hello everyone

I needed extra software on both my desktop and laptop. It should be the same for your case. If you have software&drivers for the particular camera for windows mobile (which is highly unlikely) it should work, otherwise no, sorry
to connect usb devices to a pda it's required that it support USBHost few support that
In my particular case, I have a Touch Pro (and soon a HD2), somebody knows somethign about this two devices?
In the other hand, It is usrprise me that nobody here have try to connect a webcam to one of our mobiles, is that so ?
thanks to all,

Hello all,
I ask the community about the existance (or not) of any application allowing a mobile device (windows mobile in my case) to act as a video streaming server (send the live video from your camera to the internet).
I already know and tested Qik, Livecast and so one BUT the application installed on the mobile only allow to upload the video recorded to their own server (ie qik.com, livecast.com) where an account register is needed, then video can be shared online/and on your facebook/blog.
So does anyone has hack a such qik/livecast mobile application in order to modify the server URL coded in hard I guess, so that we can upload on our own server and then do what we want with the stream ?
Or do you know any other open sources software that can fulfill this function on a windows mobile device ?
Regards,
Emmanuel
No ideas ?
Apples AirPlay keys broken. Does this mean we might be able to easily stream from itunes to our android phones on LAN? http://mafipulation.org/blagoblig/2011/04/08#shairport
In essence, yes.
It'll need to be ported though, as the c libraries the shairport server uses aren't supported on android. It should be able to be implemented in java though.
Windows Phone's another matter, without socket access till Mango, they're out in the cold.
My HD7 can't recognise other phone bluetooth when i try to transfer some vid to my Hd7.Looks like WM7 is the same as Iphone.
Wp7 doesn't support Bluetooth file transfer
Sent from my Focus using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
why on earth htc/wm wants to follow iphone
how bout other model is it the same?
It's WP7, not wm7. Windows Mobile allowed for bluetooth file transfer. Windows Phone does not. It's just not part of the Windows Phone design plan to allow bluetooth file transfer. If that is a deal breaker for you, get another phone with a different OS.
Of course, there are other ways to transfer files besides bluetooth.
For video, though, you can only get video off the phone by connecting to Zune.
With the Mango update coming this fall, you will be able to send video via MMS.
This is just the way the OS works.
