Help! Widgetlocker alternative? - T-Mobile LG G2x

Im trying to get my right sliding tab on my lockscreen to be my camera and have already tryed widget locker and dont like it because you cant put the sliding tab in the same place as stock, it's either alittle over or alittle under the usual position. Does anyone have any other alternative? Like going into the system files and swapping stuffs? Running Xboarders tweaked GB. Thanks

[Q] modifying touchwiz 4 dock

I am using Continuum 5.4 and the touchwiz launcher that came with it. I can't seem to edit the items on the dock though. Is there a trick to doing it? I tried holding down on the icons but it didnt move anything or give me the option to delete it.
Am I missing something?
lol it's not an iphone. nor is it launcher pro.it is the same as tw3 and the sony launcher on the arc which is definately a little too similar to tw4.
open the app drawer>press menu soft key>select edit
I know its not an iphone I never said it was, i just wanted to know how to edit it.
Thanks though!
And if "Edit" doesn't show up, click the "View Type" option and change it to "Customizable grid." In that option, you should be able to slide apps into and out of the TW dock. Just change the view back to "Alphabetical grid" when you're done.

That is TouchWiz 3. The GB ROMs sporting TouchWiz 4 do it different. Plus there is no way within TW4 to alphabetize your apps. The only way I found for that is appsorter in the market. TW4 is great, but I hope the little things like this are fixed in the official build that will eventually get ported by devs, months ahead of att even acknowledging GB exists.
As previously mentioned, in the app drawer press menu then edit and just drag them to the place you want in the dock.

[Q] Bloated/Debloated EP1W Help

Bloated/Debloated
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ok,
This is getting a tad frustrating. I been playing around with both debloated and bloated trying to customize what I want and what I dont want. I Finally figured out how to use Root Explorer and I still can not get certain widgets to work together.
Im trying to get TW4 with the Bloated Widgets , Buddies Now, Feeds & Updates, & Weatherbug Clock. If I installed TW4 on the system/app and then try to load the Widgets they will not load properly. That is on Bloated
I tried to install the the APK's or place them in system/app on Deblaoted and that didnt work either. Is there something Im doing wrong here.
Any help advise is greatly appericated

TWLauncher Problem

Hi all, need some help.
I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 and the following error appear sometime.
TWlancher (process.com.android.laucher) has stopped unexpectely.
How can I fix that.
Appreciate.
Sorry if this seems like a flippant response, but ditch the stock Touchwiz launcher and try Go Launcher HD. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles like cute scrolling animations and whatnot, but it's really smooth and clean looking.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.go.launcherpad
It made my Tab experience much better, and doesn't have the bloat or odd behavior of something like ADW EX launcher.
I had the same issue, TW Launcher would constantly force close.
This started to happen after I was installing a bunch of apps at once and trying to remove widgets from the home screen. I ended up having to do a factory reset and installed Go Launcher as soon as I got the tablet up and running again.

GoLauncher HD = Best thing ever! Unfortunately though on the TAB version (HD) of the Go Launcher you can't sort apps inside folders ?!
I like Go Launcher EX way better on the Note. You can move apps inside folders around just like on iPhone!
I'm having a recent problem with GoLauncher. I've got it set to run as default but every time i check TWLauncher is also running. This is driving me nuts! Any help? BTW, not rooted yet.

Question about JB and ADW Launcher

I've been having this problem with ADW Launcher EX and the JB rom which before made me switch back to CM9. Now that I actually want to stick with JB (since I can now mount the external SD card) I need to figure out why this is happening.
What happens is that only the home page that my phone is on when adw launcher loads will show the icons correctly the rest shrink them down. Here is an image http://i.imgur.com/wqxRD.png
What I've noticed is I can still use the apps if I touch where they are supposed to be (If I click in the top left corner then the folder with my games still opens.) Does anyone else have this problem or know what's going on? I've searched through the adw options and can't seem to figure it out. It only happens on CM10 though.
I believe your problem is just a compatibility issue between adw and jb. You are probably going to have to consider switching to another launcher.

Yeah I thought that might be it. I might uninstall adw for now and just wait for it to update.
I've used adw with jb and haven't had any issues. You need to go into the adw settings and change a few settings.
I forget which ones. But you can change their sizes, placement, column & rows, ect.
I'm planning my escape from the digital world!

[Q] Replacement of Stock apps?

I've just rooted my new Galaxy Ace 2x (GT-S7560M), and I've gotten pretty much everything set up as I want it - New launcher, SMS, Dialer, Contacts, Lock Screen, Browser, Keyboard, etc. Now, I don't have a ton of room or RAM on my phone, and I was wondering if I would be able to remove the stock versions of any of these, and what kind of effects that would have.
Note that anything I remove would be backed up either on my computer, or my SD.
I'm not sure if the default launcher can be removed in the first place, but if it can, will it effect GO Launcher? Does GO piggy-back off of the stock launcher, or would it be safe to remove?
Pretty much the same for the SMS and Dialer and the rest - are they only replacing the interface and piggybacking the functionality off of the stock, or will they work without the originals?
So, could someone give me a blow-by-blow of what effects each will have if they are removed?
As a side note, the main reason I'm doing this is because my phone, even when rooted, will not allow me to install any apps on my SD - So for a secondary solution, is there any way you know of to get around that?
