First off, This still has bugs and is not a completed project, hence the WIP tag.
I began porting the 9 lockscreen mod by Whitehawkx from the Vibrant, but our settings wasn't cooperative, nor was our random framework. Samsung kind of screwed us on this one, cause we're the only phone with this kind of a framework. So for now, I'll give you my slightly buggy ports of the AOSP and Puzzle lockscreens.
Because of the way that this mod works, this will erase most, if not all, of your current theme. Sorry, but it requires some custom changes to the Framework-res.apk, the system that's used to theme.
That said, my TransGreyFrozen theme still works over this, so if you want a theme after flashing this, try it out.
Requirements: Deodexed Rom, KG2 (I think, but it might work on KD1, not tested)

for some reason this wont work for me. in recovery it says that it flashed but when i reeboot theres no puzzle lock screen. is there a setting or something im missing?

Just dl'd. GPS seems to be working a lot better (with wifi on), however, I'm getting constant FC on Market.
Was having problems flashing until I upgraded RA to 1.8. Problem solved and ROM is rockin!

You'll know if GPS is working when you go to Nav and it locks on your location. You can also open News & Weather and see if it finds your location. As for me, GPS is a no show. It flashed once in Nav but not long enough to lock, and hasn't been back since. Did many wipes, flashed, wipe again and flash again, no change. Sucks cuz rom looks great!! But I use nav everyday for work. Only reason I can't make the switch to GB yet unfortunately.

I am trying to help the new rom being tested, and the first time i flashed the rom it was fine. It installed perfect, then the keyboard as well as the setup crashed, so i was not able to run it, however upon trying to re flash the rom i get an error saying "E:Board does not support mtd utils.E:Failure at line 92:write_raw_image PACKAGE:boot.img BOOT: Installation aborted."
does anyone know whats going on? i wiped the data, cache, as well as the dalvik cache.

1Boot into Stock recovery (Power On/Vol Down, then press bottom right hand corner of the screen when you see the warning sign) Then perform a data wipe.
2Go into bootloader mode (volume up and power) then Using RSD Lite flash the 2.2 Chinese ROM If you are on a Non Downgradeable rom or already on my previous rom, then skip this and go to step 4.
3Once the phone has rebooted, skip set up, root via superoneclick and then install clockworkmod recovery/apply.
4Boot into Clockworkmod Recovery and wipe data/cache
5Now go to backup/restore and restore the froyo rom of your choice that you have placed in either the SDCRAD:/goapkrev/backup/ folder.(tenfar recovery) or clockworkmod/backup/.
6Once the restore is complete pull the battery, as you are reconnecting the battery hold volume up, so that it goes straight into bootloader.
7Once in bootloader flash the 2.2tmo_boot only .sbf http://www.mediafire.com/?pkjkk75emk6x83f
When done your phone will reboot and can take about a 1min or 2 to boot up.
If you are already running my previous froyo rom or another , there is no need to do all the steps, just restore the rom.

Would it be possible to have the wifi symbol to be the small arcs in the same blue tint instead? There is just so little difference between phone signal and wifi signal.

I would love it if it wouldn't have the Honeycomb Theme inside. Nothing against it, I would even accept it if there wasn't this ****ty icon for WLAN and MOBILE Connection. Both look pretty similar and if there are both on it looks totally confusing.
I think I have to change it and make it custom for myself. If you want to use it in your next Version just take these Icons for WLAN

i've got motorola storage monitor, my accounts, motorola services and contacts data all running in the background.
is this right? as i thought they are all part of blur.

Besides that... which has to stay due to blur Res.. that is all. Run this rom then look at a blur rom .. lots of blur running.

Recently Someone brought to my attention that GARBAGE antiviruses like Norton or ParetoLogic will pop with a malicious block on mediafire... That does not mean the site is dangerous, or that the .zip your trying to download is malicious. I assure you that the .zip is clean and every file and all of its contents are clean data! The Reason why Norton and other garbage Av's flag is due to the ads apparently... I had other people test it as well with different av's and norton and the file is clean.

Your phone failed to install it b/c you flashed it improperly... Please use jadeboy's guide on themikmik.com. Its the same as flashing any other theme... First you flash amikam's rom mikg3.11 and then reboot... Wipe cache and dalvik cache and flash... Its as simple as that. The theme does work and most of the apps are done.
Oh and if your flashing this on cwm Im not sure if your aware but all serious devs recommend amon_ra over koush's CWM on the evo4g... Due to many reports of CWM not wiping properly please change recoveries.
Very few issues in this theme... A few in land but not much more than that. Finally a rom that is tailored for our device... was getting frustrated to have those 90 degrees rotated with half working keyboard layout using the roms of u8500/u8150. I've immediately installed this one and it's running all smooth (@ 691Mhz).Thanks a lot! Please keep on supporting this rom. Do you have also intentions to work on a ICS or Jelly Bean version in the future?

Thanks idk cz i accidentally broke my boulder lcd today and i think our spec isn't supported to run ics but who knows XD
Wifi broken?
Hi there!
Good job, but i have a problem: as i active wifi it says "Error" - so i can't activate wifi, which is more then bad.
Any ideas?
It's been two days since I'm using this ROM. It's so smooth, less lags, compared to the Kenyan ROM. Games that lags before work flawlessly now. for those who want ICS look, just download Holo Launcher in Play Store and replace ADW Launcher... Anyway, is there any way we can make the stock radio to work here..?
after using this for almost 3 weeks.. I have noted some of the major bugs. hope this will get fixed too... trying to fix some of myself on my free time but not all, I'm still learning.
1. back-light of the keyboard (but this was already fixed using a code from the thread in modaco)
2. some icons aren't meant to be like gallery has an icon of the camera app and some don't have icon at all (choosing default app). some, I fixed myself
3. gallery app is also named camera instead of gallery. (you will see this in titanium backup; link2sd and other app managers)
4. images and videos captured in camera are rotated to the right. it's fine with pictures as you can rotate them in the gallery but videos have to be rotated manually on a computer.
5. hope someone get the FM radio to work too...
Hope some more experienced devs will help fix these too... Love this ROM, so fast compared to the stock Kenyan ROM...
i'm starting to give up fixing the problems... I just don't have enough experience yet to fix these issues.. anyway, managed to fix some broken icons. tried to fix image wrong rotation and tried renaming gallery too (it's named camera but appears gallery in launcher. check it in app managers like Titanium backup, link2sd, etc) but I can't get everything else to work after editing xml's (probably wrong compiling and signing) so I really can't test them at all because the apk's won't install anymore after modding them. Hope someone more experienced help me with this...
Can you tell me that can i flash ics layout again diectly without wipping cuz m feeling i think my layout is not according to the picture like blue bar, my boulder has yellow bar and icons of ginger bread not ics
not sure but I think it's better to just push the framework-res.apk. It's much safer...

Camera Zoom FX fixes the pictures being saved in portrait rather than landscape mode. Bizarrely in the original Froyo ROM it was the other way round.
